How do you legbutts who don't live in major LGBT hubs meet people?

I live outside a fairly mid-sized city but I seem to already know who all the homos are--or all the ones on all the dating apps, anyway--and I don't seem to "click" with any of them. There's only one gay bar in town and it's mostly frequented by leery older guys.

I just want a bf, you guys. Up until recently I didn't care all that much because I'd never dated anyone seriously and I didn't really know what I was missing, but a few months back I fell HARD for this boy from way out of town and I finally realized how nice it is to have feelings for someone else, but then he dumped me for someone who lives closer to him, and he left me high and dry. :(

To the passing trannies here: why are you so opposed to bathroom bills? They're not targeted towards you, they're targeted to the hons you seem to hate so much. it's 3am in my timezone, which is relatively normal for me to be awake still, but i'm not going to sleep because i have to be up at 7am and with sleep apnea killing everything you've ever loved the brain damage you get from being awake for forty-eight hours is milder than that you get being asleep for four. when sleep apnea's killing everything you've ever loved, it's hard enough to do things and amuse yourself when you're awake for the length of a normal day. i need to keep myself alert and conscious for two.
somehow i ended up reading a pdf of this stupid fucking book by some stupid fucking 'queer' agp chick and it's an atrocity written for people who are themselves atrocities, but the 'voice' of it is nice and it's not like i have anything better to do. reading it is getting me thinking about my offline friends, inasmuch as i still have offline friends because the only person i have 'socialized' with in the past week is cara and i have not left the house for a social event in two months; there is what is perhaps a gender or language or socialization or reality barrier between myself and everyone else i know in the offline world, because it is weird to be a straight late-teens male (female) autistic channer fuck and only be able to befriend dykey looking aaps who care about shit like feminism and steven universe fanart. alright, one of them isn't a dykey looking aap, he's a dude looking aap and a fellow channer and plenty of interesting shit like that and i haven't seen him offline in...over a year, he started t last february and i haven't seen him since then. fuck
