Alternatively just don't tell them. Unless you plan on introducing them to any future boyfriends there's no reason to. The only time /lgbt/ would have to come out is if they're a tranny, unless they either don't plan on transitioning or they don't plan on ever interacting with their family in person again.

/lgbt/, it's time to decide under what conditions we can acknowledge trans person identity(their designed gender) as valid.
People on the left extreme are telling us, that people like Dave Muscato (picture related), who made absolutely no effort to present as woman, take no hormones, don't change their IDs, don't even shave their fuckin beards are women and need to be treated as such. I refuse to accept this shit idea.

So my therapist is making me come out to my parents before she'll write a letter saying it's ok for me to take HRT. My parents do not like trans people, think they're bad, that it's a disorder, etc. and are also heavily religious.
