One of my so-called friends called me a degenerate today in an argument. Shit hurts.

So has anyone here ever gotten GCS (srs whatever) from a surgeon that wasn't Bowers, Suporn, Brassard, Meltzer etc?
I'm very early in my transition and I have very little money. Whenever I ask about GCS people usually mention one of the big ones, but what about one of the new people being trained?
So basically I definitely want a vaginoplasty. I don't care much about depth because I'm a lesbian. I also care less about aesthetics than function and sensation. That is I'd honestly rather have a sensitive, functional "frankenvagina" than a nice-looking but dysfunctional one.
This guy Jess Ting does vaginoplasties in NYC, according to the website he trained under Marci Bowers, and importantly he is covered by my parents' health insurance so I would only have to pay a copay instead of the full price. But is it worth it?
