I really strongly believe there are such people. I can only speak for myself but I feel like love is just as possible with a male or female trans or not. I don't go looking for women right now but attractions have popped up and good things have blossomed from them. The chance is always there though I feel.

Don't give too much of a shit about your transition or else you'll look in the mirror every day and feel depressed you arent changing fast enough. 20 is a mostly good age to do HRT.

The stage where you hit 'awkwardly feminine guy but distinctly a male sorta unless you look at them from a certain angle' is after around month 6 for most people. Looking like a girl is waaaay after that for most.

Do grow your hair out though. Also estrogen makes your skin dry to be sure to use lots of moisturizer everywhere. You'll also find you may gain weight easier, watch out for that and be mindful that fat redistribution needs fat in the first place. Don't starve yourself and eat normally please.

I think the best advice for starting is to just take the medicine and don't worry about what it's going to do when.
It works because you take it every day, and expecting certain results on a time table could just make you worry if it's worth it, take it irregularly, and that's not how you'll get the most out of the treatment.

If taking on male gender roles makes you happy, take them. You don't need to cut off your tits for that to be a thing. Transitioning would be attempting to alleviate or fix a problem that isn't there.

My advice is to honestly not make a big deal out of it. A lot of AFABs these days are essentially overthinking themselves into feeling uncomfortable about their gender due to the current emphasis being placed on gender identity, especially in queer circles. As a female, who you are and choose to be is what defines womanhood, not the other way around.

Hey how about living in a world where the only thing that exists are gay culture's stupid forced stereotypes that people don't and shouldn't fit into, you (and other people who haven't woken up yet) go and live your lives as yourselves and not how the gay community tells you that things work. Trust me, there are a lot of people who say no to that crap, myself included, and I'm not really attracted to people who waste their time judging themselves and other people by sweeping generalizations.

The gay community sure makes a huge lie when it says "coming out" is about "being your true self." No, the gay community wants you to come out, then spend a bunch of your time conforming to what they think you have to look like, act like, dress like, who you're supposed to be friends with, and how you're supposed to have sex. That doesn't sound like being yourself.

You shouldn't declare independence from heterosexuality only to surrender your sexuality to the gay community who then defines what it is. That's why I refuse to be gay. Homosexual, yes, but part of the gay community, no.

Just as an addendum to this I'm currently thinking of going for the femboy look and finding a nice older sugar-mama. so I'll eventually have to give up that "I can protect you!" attitude and I'm not sure if that will fuck up my self esteem, so take my advice through that lens.
