Trannies: I want your opinion on my hypothesis.

I understand that at least some MtF persons have a female brain morphology. I suspect not all do, but that others go down the path of an MtF transition despite their own better judgement. Is it possible that for some people, especially the more ideologically charged ones, that it is a pathology induced by a very deep existential boredom? Boredom not merely of the finite immediate kind where you find yourself without anything to occupy your focus at the very moment, but a boredom at the basis level of someone's psyche that stems from a lack of purpose, or a lack of agency ( I imagine this to be a product of separation from the evolutionary environment ) which drives them utterly insane.
Boredom can be a very powerful force in warping the mind, you can see an extreme example in the shrinking of the brain in prisoners subjected to solitary confinement.
I have read that animals do not even masturbate unless they have spent a certain amount of time in captivity - perhaps the manifestly insane "wing" of the LGBT sector suffer from an even more serious case of the same pathology - as in, they are psychologically "masturbating" by constructing a hyper-sexualized identity.

I understand that what I wrote above will offend some people here but that is not what I want, I do not contend the above to be true of all or even most trans people. Just the ones who seem to me really insane in multiple ways.

I figured this would be the only online LGBT "community" where I could ask this question without being written off as a troll.
Gay males-how do I push myself up the ol' Kinsey scale and away from heterosexuality? I'm tired of women. I have a lot of emotional baggage around them and I'd really rather just start playing for the other team than spending years with a shrink trying to deprogram myself.
Problem: I'm a Kinsey 1. Attractive men are rare as blue roses to me. I've known some very attractive transgender women, but have no interest in being seen as a "chaser," and the only female-identifying people I've ever met who wanted to keep their dicks have had severe mental health problems unrelated to being trans.
So far I'm considering finding some gay porn that I can enjoy and then just forcing myself to masturbate to that exclusively for a few months until I start to notice my tastes broadening. I just wanted to see if anyone out there has done this before, has any tips, any warnings about side effects, etc.

straight white male here, a girl just came out to me as a tranny and that they like me a whole lot. can /lgbt/ give me the down low on mtf trannies? they look, sound, and act like a very pretty girl and i had no idea until they told me and apparently i'm one of the only people she has told. they're like 5'0 with big tits and the whole nine yards, never would have guessed this was a tranny in a million years. i'm 6'3 and i think they have a daddy fetish. this is IRL, not online and I sort of hope they don't browse here because they are cute and I liked them, but this complicates things and I want to know what baggage comes with it, so this seems like a perfect place to ask. What do they mean by this. Ive been told a couple times here that women naturally have wider hips than shoulders and in order to pass you must achieve this too. But am i looking at this wrong? I do not see many women with smaller shoulders than hips unless they were really out of shape/bottomheavy by wide do we mean the length from shoulder to shoulder or from front to back of the collarbone?

I've been browsing this subsection of 4chan and it seems like there's hardly any posts on /lgbt that aren't trans. /lgbt is basically just a subchan for trans stuff. I'm not trying to bitch or anything, but there's hardly any diversity.
