They are the same, Trap is more like a derogatory word. Or depending on the person/character it's being used on.

Over the past decade, Victory Fund-endorsed LGBT women won their races 70.3 percent of the time, compared to 60.9 percent for Victory Fund-endorsed LGBT men. This is a statistically significant difference. The disparity is notable given studies show women and men as a whole win elections at approximately the same rate.
“LGBTQ women candidates outperform all other candidates because we are typically better prepared and more qualified,” said Aisha C. Moodie-Mills, President & CEO of Victory Fund. “The barriers to entry for LGBTQ women are significant — and we tend to wait until we are exceptionally qualified before entering a race. But when we run, we win, because most voters want leaders with experience and a deep understanding of the issues important to them. If more LGBTQ women run, we can address the severe underrepresentation we face at every level of government.”
While LGBT women win at higher rates, they unfortunately do run less frequently than LGBT men, contributing to the underrepresentation. From 2007–2016, LGBT women made up just 31 percent of Victory Fund endorsees — 364 of the 1162 candidates endorsed. Yet some of the most high-profile LGBT elected officials in the country are women elected during this period, including U.S. Senator Tammy Baldwin, Oregon Governor Kate Brown and former Houston Mayor Annise Parker.
LGBT women have been remarkably consistent in their win rates during cycles when Democrats struggled at the polls (Victory Fund is non-partisan but the vast majority of endorsed candidates are Democrats). In the 2010 midterms, when Democrats at all levels lost hundreds of seats, LGBT women candidates endorsed by Victory Fund won an astonishing 81 percent of their races, compared to just 57 percent for LGBT men. Similarly in 2014, another tough year for Democrats, LGBT women won 70 percent of their races compared to 47 percent for LGBT men.

Gay men are far less "marketable" than lesbians, they aren't "manly" enough to be a true leader but women don't have this baggage, plus straight men may well vote for a lesbian candidate for a laugh and because they're hot or whatever

Pretty much every politicians are faggots.
Do you need them to be open about it? It's common knowledge.
>>8696137
>openly
You've nailed the contradiction.
Announcing that you like dicks in you is the exact opposite of the social competence you would need to ever win leadership among a majority.
Should people just not transition past a certain age?
How old is too old to transition for white people, black people and asian people?
>>8696111
there is no age
Do you want me to say some arbitrary number that will make you feel better, or give you a goal? The truth is it's whatever age your bone structure becomes irreversibly male. It's all genetics
>>8696111
>Should people just not transition past a certain age?
I feel that I'm too old being 23 but I would say for other people if you start before 30 there is probably at least some chance you pass
Sometimes I feel like if you're trans then it's too late from the moment you're born. I'll never become completely like a cis person, and even if I did, I'd never be able to have a normal childhood. It's rather depressing, but I haven't committed suicide yet for some reason even though I've felt this way or years.
Then again some days I feel like it's fine and I'm close enough to being female that I don't mind the ways in which I'm not. So that leads me to think that even though being delusionally self-accepting is bad, it's important to possess some extent of self-acceptance nonetheless.
Aby bi lads from liverpool or wirral with a car throw there kik name on here?
holy shit that image is creepy
I'm so scared that I'll never find love. I haven't had a boyfriend in three years, and I am not confident enough to find anyone who will genuinely love me and not just think of me as just a tranny. I really want to just lay down next to somebody I love at the end of the night, not just somebody that wants to fuck. I want somebody I will be able to possibly get married to no cerimony though, I've been disowned by my entire family and I don't want to be reminded of that. I just want to be loved.
Keep trying. Be a cool person. You can probably do it. Even if you're not someone I'd enjoy you're almost certainly wonderful for someone. Not that I know if I'd enjoy you or not, just saying.
>>8695991
I am just so scared. Last time was rough
>>8696034
Don't make me want to comfort you. That's just rude. Yeah, it's scary.
I always thought that the key to passing is to put on weight to hide your manskelington but this meme doesn't work on me.
For some strange reason, I get sir'd more at 165 or more lbs and mam'd more (even in boymode) at 158, which seems like my ideal "passing" weight. So why is that? Why in my case gaining fat makes it way worse for me in regards to passing?
>implying 7lbs make any difference at all
>>8695750
That's what I thought too but the difference in mam's and sir's is truly staggering. I also wear the same clothes, same hair, same voice, same everything which makes it even harder to pinpoint the cause.
>>8695795
I think it's just a coincidence at this point. I also don't agree that putting on weight necessarily makes you pass better. I think that heavily depends on your specific bodytype. Some people might pass bettee if they stay skinny.
In my opinion, all mtfs are agp, even hstses, otherwise they'd just be happy being a male homosexual.

I've thought about this. I wonder how many gay guys get off on being perceived as a woman but won't admit it.
FTM here. How's it look?
>>8695548
bretty manly, but i dont think having hairy legs is hard. im a cis girl and i have around the same amount of hair without any sort of hormonal problems. still the muscle makes it look p manly good work

Oh God, not this thread again!
Nobody wants to see your man-thighs.

Something made up by the brainiacs at /tttt/ that describes post-transition AGP, where a female-attracted tranny becomes also male attracted because it satisfies their fetishes.
It's totally scientifically sound and is an amazing, groundbreaking theory. If you disagree with it, you're an AGP hon.

To eternally trigger toadlets like you with its very existence, just like LGBT people in real life. I hope Hiro merges this board with /pol/ for the next April Fools, I want to see you all go supernova at once before strangely adapting to it just like with /mlpol/.

So trannies, when did you start passing more often than not? I've heard it generally takes a year and a half to two years, but I'm not sure if that's accurate or not

Yeah about a year and a half, and I started at 24 & 11 months old. It's a mix of how long it takes to change with how long it takes you to learn how to work with what you have and cover your flaws.
Still get clocked every once in a while, but I've got a long way to go still anyway and it's better than I ever expected it would be. I get complimented ten times as much as I get clocked, easily. There's just no avoiding that one person who's seen transwomen before.
Remember to relax your body.
>>8695141
People started ma'aming occasionally at about 8 months, but I personally didn't feel like I passed until about a year and a half. YMMV, though. It's a mix of HRT effectiveness, how you present yourself (clothing/makeup/taking care of your body), mannerisms, voice, "emotional passing", and raw genetics.
