What are the best techniques to go about politely dissuading someone from transitioning?
The person in question is two years ahead of me (I'm a sophomore in high school right now, and began my medical transition process two years ago in May 2015) who has been approaching me and pestering me about "becoming trans" (wtf) because they say that their parents won't help them and that it's 'dangerous' for them to talk about.
The thing is, they've already been through puberty and pass as male and wear boyish clothing, with slight masculinization to their face and ribs and such that should have been avoided by them entirely by now. And not only that, but they are recognized socially as male and receive the pronouns "he" and "him" from other people where as I never experienced that.
They've also already had a creepy crush on me and told me that they "love" me and I don't want them to have a transition that somehow validates them internally and gives them confidence to keep harassing me.
Should I speak to their parents, or what should I do? Has anyone ever been in a similar situation where you've had to kindly let someone down?
It's not that I think that they're a burden on me, it's more that it's kind of an insult for them to assume that I have advice on "being trans" rather than coming to me if we had a common shared personality and identity.

Statistically, probably not. And going by my own observations, probably not as well. Her jaw is her only masculine feature and her shoulders don't appear broad at all. And she doesn't have an Adam's apple or a masculine brow. On top of that, it's from a highly unflattering angle (from below) that emphasizes her jaw.

so gay men are a threat to them, because they see gay men as predators (much like people did in the 50s), and trans people are even worse, because the black person might be attracted to them, meaning they have to kill them to regain their honor, in their mind.
and no, clearly they didn't learn. As soon as they stopped being completely discriminated against, they started it up again.
What's interesting is you can see the same thing in the lgbt community. When cis gays and lesbians started gaining more societal acceptance, they started disliking trans people more, since that's the group below them on the societal scale. Obviously you don't see large amounts of assault and murder, but you're seeing the same mindset we see in black culture.
I wonder who trans people will come to discriminate against.
