When was the last time you shot?
How many rounds?
I put 100 rounds of 5.56 out to 25 yards (furthest the indoor range allows) and 150 9mm at varying distances (15-30 ft).
How often to you you shoot?
>MFW it's been over a year since I hit the range
Like 5 months ago maybe?
It's fucking cold as balls outside, indoor ranges are dildos, and ammo is expensive.
I mostly just fondle my AR while furiously masturbating. About all it has done aside from sit since the last range trip.
I've been twice in the last month. 150 rounds per trip. 9mm only at 25". I still can't get anything resembling a grouping with the thing, and it pisses me off.
I had no idea how inaccurate pistol shooting can be. I'm great with a rifle, but I have no clue what I'm doing with a handgun at all.
I do dry fire, and I've identified some pulling/shaking that was a result of poor finger placement on the trigger. I've been practicing a smooth pull nightly while I'm watching shows or just sitting around.
I just need to put more rounds through it and learn to be consistent about my good habits. I'd really like to start shooting much closer than 10' so I can work my way out from there. 25' makes it very difficult to see where my shots are landing (I miss the damn target half the time).
I'm explaining to you why people shoot rifles at 25m you chucklefuck
>25 yards is useless
>25 yards is useless on an AR with a red dot
>what is home defense
Here's my AR groups at 25 yards, I'm getting my red dot zeroed. It's low on purpose because I'm eventually going to zero it for 50 or 100 yards, haven't decided yet.
You slow, son, or did you click the wrong post number?
Post your groups if you're gonna talk shit. I'm sighting in a red dot and standing.
Is your house miniscule or something? I can swing my PTR around without issue. Even my Browning Gold 10ga isn't that unwieldy through here. My AR isn't any issue at all compared to that thing.
>90 rounds .22lr, (club Rimfire handgun match) ten rounds .30-06 (confirmed that my M1 needs a new latch spring)
>private club out in the county
Meant to shoot some other stuff, but it was cold as balls, and I was in a bad mood when I realized the M1 wasn't working right.
So this is why AR fags never shut up about how 'accurate' their rifles are, they shoot at pistol ranges.
Last weekend . Put 100 rounds through my ar and sighted in the irons. 35 ish yards I try to shoot once a month
I think it was November, took a buddy to the range for an hour, we shot like 50 rounds out of my SKS and what I had left of my Mosin food. Haven't been since, I just haven't had the chance or been in the mood. I just got a job too so I didn't really have money to purchase any more ammo, which sucks because I missed 54r surplus. Plus I'm in PA and its cold as fuck here.
Shot last about two months ago. Not too many rifle rounds, about 600 9mm though. Shot at the only local outdoor range.
I only went to the range three times last year. It's tough to find time with school and work when the range is an hour away and only open 10am-5pm.
Went today for "Family Day"
Shot a boatload of 7.62 outta my vz, some reloads out of my AR
And I shot my first ever 9mm reloads. I fucked up the powder charge on half of them so I was getting stovepipes and FTF half the time.
It was good though, a guy with a .460 revolver gave me brain damage and it was cold and it was cold and it was cold
christmas time with my bro and uncle
10 lane indoor range.
shot a .380 glock with 100 rounds and a 9mm springfield with another 100.
i shoot less than i want to, but im lazy so fuck it
>tfw shooting isn't that fun because range is expensive with restrictive as fuck rules
>tfw have to fight the urge to buy shit for my guns that I don't even shoot that much
At least it's pretty fun trying to get good with shooting my handgun. I just end up shooting to the right the entire time
I have an indoor range membership so I have to shoot at least 4 times a month to pay for it. Usually go 6 times. Every Sunday sometimes after work on random weekdays if I need a break from the gym.
Last time I put 350rds of 9mm through my p2000sk and 50rds of .357sig through my p229. Productive session. I shoot 9 and 13yd typically for handgun with various LE/govt agency training targets.
I shoot my ar maybe once every 2 months. I find it boring to fire more than 100rds though. Need to find a good outdoor range so I can go beyond 25yd.
I like shooting and it drives me absolutely crazy if I can't shoot handguns.
I almost went last week.
But sadly the road was not plowed at my fav spot.
Taking a different rig this weekend, I have some ladder testing to do on a 165SST load I want to work up for the tikka.
Deer need to get in my freezer this fall.
100 rounds of .223 at 100 yards scoped in a digital night scope, then was just plinking away.
20 rounds of .338 at 100 yards, just making noise and letting a few friends shoot it.
50 slugs from a bora at around 20 yards.
Then a ton of .22lr
Usually shoot at least once a week, sometimes 3 times a week though.
>have range in back yard
>haven't shot since November
>lonely unattached neet
>go to the range on Valentine's Day
>no one there
>forgot mag loader
>shoot a couple hundred rounds
>get a blister from loading mags
Tfw soft feminine hands from never having done an honest days work
>tfw almost two years now
>the only range within an hours distance that isn't shit is still shit
>I hate shooting around other people
>when I moved here I never got to know anyone so no friend with land
>no public land to pewpew on (lol Kansas)
>whenever I go to a range with other people I get all shaky and on-edge because I don't trust most people that go to public or private ranges
Fuck me. I've tried to go out and shoot every single weekend for the past two months but I keep losing motivation to go out because fuck the local range and the guy that runs it
Fuck I need to move or get some land or something. A-Any Kansas, western Missouri, or northern Oklahoma bros with land looking for a battle buddy?
I have only pistols 92FS, LCP, Ruger SP101 (i think) snub nose 357, and a shitty jam-tastic MAC pistol. Been three long months since range time. In the mean time I'm piling up ammo.
Do you carry your rifle with you all around your house?
Sure it's great to sperg out how rifles are theoretically better than handguns in your house, but if you're not always in arms reach of the rifle how can you know for a fact that is what you will use?
