So /k/, what are you gonna do with your refund? I can't decide between these three. All good-ish for lefties. In a decent caliber for range stuff. Finally all are from well known manufacturers.
Yes. I own one.
I rented once and decided to buy.
It's like sex for your hand!
Which one, seems too be quite a few models of 75.
Gonna get a nugget carbine for meme reasons and something for CC. Suggestions welcome for the CC, my only handgun right now is a VP9 so something in 9x19 would be nice for ammo sharing reasons but it's not a dealbreaker if it's in another caliber.
Would be planning for more but I decided to be responsible and pay off my credit card and an extra payment on my student loans. Such is life as an adult; unfortunately can't spend all my money on new toys.
75.i like the jericho but it just feels clunky compared to my cz85b>>28898152
Take a look at pic related.
this image is fucking stupid
without even arguing about high bore axis or any other inherent problems with it, saying that they lowered the quality of steel to "western standards" is retarded. Most steel made in the US, and on guns no less, is as good or outshines euro steel any day.
they have to be confusing it with the finish or something because this is bullshit
USP's are not that pricey used. New they are way too expensive, but I picked up both guns in pic related, with all the magazines for under $1000
No handgun with tax refund. Went with a AR build and optics.
I never understood the USP mags/capacity.
9 - 15
40 - 13
45 - 12
9 - 13
40 - 12
45 - 8
how the fuck do you loose 4 .45 rounds in less than a half inch?
How can you not fit 17 rounds into a fullsize 9mm that is taller than a G17?
honestly seems like the only ones worth getting are the USP40C and the USP45T
thats a pretty sweet stainless slide
where did you go for the deal?
maybe because the G17 is made of thin as fuck polymer and isnt made to handle abuse like the full size USP? that much i know but yeah it is kind of weird that the compact loses that much capacity in .45, which is why it would only make sense to buy a full size
i also know .40 is a subpar caliber and no one should buy anything chambered for it
I got a Scar 17s, a 5-20x50 scope, bipod, some extra mags and a load of .308
Not my pic, it arrives Tuesday.
The compacts are also slimmer.
I got them both locally. The stainless was NIB, and the HE finished gun was slightly used. Both have several thousand rounds through them at this point.
>G17 is made of thin as fuck polymer and isnt made to handle abuse like the full size USP
>.40 is a subpar caliber and no one should buy anything chambered for it
shows how much you know. opinion discarded.
>Thats why there is such a thing as LOLonly.40, rite?
I love retards that think a big tax refund is some long lost found money.
4000 refund? Or 330$ dollars every month. ....tards
And if you need refund to buy a gun your doing it wrong. Stop being nigs woth your money
I kinda want this. How much of a retard am I?
every single organization that WAS using .40 dropped it
as I said, its subpar, not useless you assmad faggot
wait so you got a new stainless usp for under 1000? my LGS is selling a used in 9mm for 900 and was thinking of getting it but now im just going to look around a little more
>every single organization that WAS using .40 dropped it
Delta Force never dropped it. Neither did a bunch of other actual oper8rs.
organizations have to cater to wimmin and numbercrunchers. If that is your basis for your subpar opinion, then it certainly proves you having a subpar intellect.
>Was gonna pay 900 for a USED USP9
damn son, your almost pushing double digits....
I dressed my opap up with a set of Balkan war handguards/grip set, manticore arms triangle stock w/ a stormwerkz sidefolder hinge.
Just waiting on the Krebs custom adapter to come in the mail so I can finally mount the stock. Also bought 520 rounds and a beat up dark colored tula bakelite that pair with the beat up handguards really well.
i said i was THINKING about it, which is why i never bought it you moron
considering your reading comprehension, terminology, and your lack of a real argument, you must be a 12 year old nogunz
get off this site
berettas look way better than glocks and definitely better than any polymer sig
inox berettas look fucking gorgeous also
also this >oversized meme needs to stop, its really only oversized if youre a manlet or a woman
let us know if the white gets dirty
there was a thread yesterday saying getting white furniture was stupid because the powder would make it gray within a couple of trips to the range
Well to be perfectly honest I traded a CZ 75b Compact in .40 cal that I had $350 into for the stainless with 6 magazines. But I valued the CZ at $500. But it was NIB, never fired.
The HE I purchased second hand for $450 and it too came with 6 mags.
>traded a NIB CZ 75b Compact in .40 cal that I had $350 into for the stainless with 6 magazines for a NIB USP LIMITED STAINLESS 9 w/ 6 mags
you sure found a sucker or are just realllly lucky.
>went to the pawn shop to buy remington 870
>its 300$ almost like new
>wishing it was cheaper
>go next door to local sporting goods store to compare
>ask my buddy working at the gun counter if they have any 18" 870's
>without even saying anything he walks to the back
>comes back with used mossberg 500
>overfolding stock magpul fore end and an extra barrel
bought it on the spot, im so happy i have my first shotgun. also glad i saved 100$
For long range optics I like leupold. Isn't a ziess or Nikon, however they're still one of the best glass makers. Nowadays most people wouldn't be able to see much difference in good light conditions. If you want something cheaper go vortex.
Nice price. I like the classic better since I like the paddle release. The only problem with this gun is that mags are pretty pricey, BUT you can use P99 mags and surprisingly Baby Eagle mags.
>tfw I was planning on building an AR, but my refund is only like $120
I have no idea what happened
I fucken loved my LCR. As far as snubbies go it is the best and was my pocket carry for a year before I got a hell of a deal on a Kahr pm9 with tritium. The LCR is nice and light and the polymer really helps with the recoil. The trigger is one of the better triggers on snubbies, its non stacking and pretty smooth but a long reset. I had a xs tritium dot on minr and loved it but some people prefer the crimson trace. Also I'm not really recoil sensitive but take my word for it and carry 38 +p not 357 magnums.
Part of what I got came in the mail today, and I also received the shipping notification for the other parts.
Which is nice, because that means the rifle will get here just in time for it to be 70F at the end of my week.
70F in February. I wonder if that's too hot for an Arctic girl?
Thickness / height comparison 3/3
It's not impossible but it would probably be much much more comfortable OWB or to pick a different carry gun
Size wise you will be fine then probably. I personally like the 43 best for CC because it's the most comfortable and stealthy option that isn't .380.
Was mostly concerned about added thickness and weight
I mean people do carry 1911s.
Yeah the .380 is a joke, it was way too small. I was doing like 8'' groups at 7yds. Meanwhile I'm doing 3'' at 20yds w the G17
G20 is not going to be a daily carry but I would some situations and looking for input on what she's like.
An ak, still not sure what kinda I'm gonna get yet.
It fits into G17 holsters (snugly, sure, but it fits). You probably won't notice the extra weight. I was wondering if you were searching for a daily carry b/c of the "only pistol" comment.
Otherwise get one you won't be disappointed. Also something you may learn, the whole "10MM ZOMG RECOIL" meme is possibly the dumbest meme still floating around. Even the real heavy stuff isn't bad
Also has any one ever owned/used an FNS-9?
It's my 2nd option incase I don't find an AK I like.
Yep either carhart jeans or whatever shorts with belt loops I have. For those thinking about thickness for carrying, as long as you buy larger clothes you biggest issue is going to be either your belt or your holster. I am the same guy who carries a 1911 or a M&p(oldfag lurker who still doesn't fully understand the thread no. System). My biggest issue with carrying iwb was my belt. I tried a few cheap belts and they sucked, so I found a ares ranger belt on sale and never wore another carry belt. You don't need one so beefy but make sure it isn't a Walmart belt or some other shit. Also most iwb holsters will keep a gun from printing unless you wear skintight shirts so thickness is only really a comfort issue. BTW I'm 5'8" and 180lbs so I'd say I'm average and squishy.
I do not own one but have shot them. As far as FN is concerned my stance is they are really nice guns but they do not have as much over Smith, Springfield, and glock as their price suggests.
I figured it was pretty meme and more of a grip thickness issue for women
I have big hands anyway
I have a good enough belt for a G17
Friend dailies a 19 in jeans and a shirt and I don't even notice it. Appendix carry.
I'm not worried about printing really. Everyone carries here, OC too. Usually have a long jacket anyway, cold up here
P250 is absolute GARBAGE. My brother had one and the sear from the trigger to the hammer broke after maybe 500 rounds. Nobody could shoot that POS accurately either due to the hilariously awful DAO trigger. Trigger had to have been like 15lb, your finger was tired after two mags.
Just got it in a few days ago. Cost me ~$1250 not including the reloading supplies.
Current CC is a G43, but like you I also would like to eventually pick up a metal subcompact as well. I've heard great things from 2075 owners, but I also love the looks of the Sig 938 as well; those are probably the two I'd end up having to choose between.
Only real gripe I've heard about the 938 is price and the sights are a little small for some, but that can be subjective.
>So /k/, what are you gonna do with your refund?
Well, I already did a thing and it had nothing to do with my tax refund.
Given a choice between the three I'd probably go with the Beretta. Second choice would be the Jericho. If you're looking for an ambi hammer-fired 9mm though, I'd suggest checking out the FNX-9.
Debating between AKM (preferably Krink, but WA state SBR acquisition is iffy), single stack 9mm, CMP garand or some platform for a vortex 2.5-10x scope I have lying around. Also thinking about going NFA... What do?
Currently own: 870, glock 19/34, ar15, tar21, several 22's and bolt actions... what do I need?
I'm gonna pick up a full sized handgun. I've been trying to learn on my G26 and it's been hard to work out the kinks with such a small handgun. Through suggestion and common sense I have determined that a full size, possibly metal frame handgun would be more consistent and easier to handle for a beginner and therefore easier to troubleshoot my flaws shooting.
I've wanted a CZ or a Sig for years. I've been thinking about picking up an old CZ-75b/bd service pistol for as cheap as possible and using it as a project to rebuild/restore. I don't really mind buying used as long as it's reliable and serviceable. I'm a DIY kind of guy and I like to customize things to my exact taste. I'd prefer an SP-01 but they're $$$$ and out of my price range.
Alternatively I've wanted to try out a Canik TP9. I really liked my friends Walthers and I heard the Canik is a really fairly priced clone of a Walter P99. The problem is once again availability... I haven't even seen one at a gun show yet (gonna look again next weekend) so I can't say I want to buy it without finger-fucking it first. New in case with goodies for <$350 seems like a decent deal as long as the finish quality of that specific firearm is good, wouldn't want to buy one sight unseen.
The other option is a used G17 with a cheap trigger job, sights and maybe an aftermarket barrel later down the road.
Advice? I need help sourcing cheap CZ's
WA is gay and from what I heard the ATF isn't issuing SBR for anything that isn't built in the state.
If you wanted to wait, maybe pick up a CMP 1911 service pistol when they come out? I thought about buying a 9mm 1911 but I don't know my elbow from my asshole regarding those firearms and most other single stack 9mm are basically pocket guns.
RE: AK, have you considered a new Kalashnikov? I've wanted to get one of my hands on them so badly. My buddy might pick one up and I'm excited to see how the new manufacture guns are.
>ever considering the p250 when the p320 exists
>costs more than any other gun I am considering
>only reason I was considering the p250 was the sale on this one site...you know a SIG for the cost of a ruger
>do you not into sales?
how come no one ever screams about the Jews when it's a Jericho?
Literally the same company. Does /pol/ just not know?
Mine's solid as a fucking rock.
Actually, my name's not Matt, and I got one because I rented one once and shot it better than my friends SIG.
I watched bebop after I'd rented it and it sealed the deal, though I don't have the decocker version because I don't like them.
Thanks for the recommendation Anon, I took a look at one at the pawn shop today along with a few others, felt very nice and looks to be the right size. I'm going to do some research and then probably head back on Monday and make a buy.
Damn place sold their only nugget this morning though, looks like I'll be getting that via the interbutts.
I have the first two. My jericho 45 is one of my favorite guns. I was skeptical about CZ based 45s after owning a CZ 97 and it being an absolute piece of shit. Got the Jericho brand new for $450 and immediately fell in love with it. I would easily pay $700 for that gun. It's one of the best bargain buys out there and I think IWI is working on rebuilding the Jericho brand so expect the price to go up once they start getting recognition.
