Alright, there is a meetup this Sunday, feburary the 14th in Rutherford county. For more details, email me @ [email protected]

It's a single lane, private range out in the middle of the woods. I have no "facilities" out here. I've got 4 guys including myself saying they're showing up. I can handle a few more. If the hickory guy i emailed sees this, speak up so I still know you're coming.

Two berms, 25 and 75m from the shooting bench.

I'll bring some water out there, and maybe some small snacks, but bring a little for yourself.

I'll bring my two rifles, maybe my shotgun.
I'll have paper, reactive targets, cardboard, clay pidgeons and soda cans out there, but I might run out. If you have e targets you'd like to bring and shoot, by all means bring them

Im working on the waivers for the meetup and will be sending it out soon. Please bring a signed copy with you to the check in table. Ill be riding to the event with my mom and aunt. They will be helping with the setup, registration and security. The important thing to remember is that any guns brought to the meet will be given to a safety officer for storage. My aunt and her state police boyfriend will be providing this service as all as being range officers.

When you want to shoot, just come to the security booth and check out the gun. An range officer wil escort you to the firing line.
Please keep 3 seconds between shots. No rapid fire.
I look forward to meeting you all. I wil be brining smores supplies (marshmellow, gram cracker, chocolate bar) so if you want to bring food to share that’s cool. Maybe weeners or hamborgs.

Breakfast is a good idea. Firstly because it's the most important meal of the day, but also we can consolidate the guns and carpool from there in 1-2 cars, if everyone else is fine with that. Maybe somewhere near the Shelby walmart so the people who aren't driving can park in the walmart without fear of being towed. We can take 226 right off of 74 straight to Polkville and go from there.

Well, I can handle 4 or 5 vehicles up at this property, but a carpool sounds like a solid plan.

The only issue is that the only not fast food place for breakfest in shelby I can think of is Shelby Cafe. Otherwise, heading south past SHS to mary Joe's

Unless you guys like wafflehouse (I love wafflehouse) there's not options on the 74 propper that I've seen that aren't fast food.

Tbh, there's enough of a median for folks at the site for runoff, then a small two car gravel spot up there, two more cleared areas at the range, and worse come to worse there's the clearing I wanted to try skeet shooting in. I just don't know where in shelby to park everyone's cars for the day.
