Anybody here appendix carry? What kind of holster do you use?

this works for me and I sit, stand, lift, run, everything under the sun in one day. It's the best carry position for deep concealment. Even with a g19.

The pendulum thing is useful, when driving for example I can pull it out, etc. The draw isn't hindered either by the double sweat guard. I'm wearing their weaker gun belt they have way better ones I just didn't want them. Too stiff, I wanted a more flexible belt.

I appendex carry a g43 in an incog holster from g-code holsters. Fantastically comfortable. I sat in the passager seat of a car with it for an hour and half today and forgot it was there the whole time. Most comfortable gun/holster combination I have ever used. G-code is a little more on the expensive side of kydex holsters, there's a company called Keyhole holsters that makes nice leather/kydex paddle style holsters for iwb and they are reasonably comfortable and a bit cheaper.
I find appendex carry more comfortable than 5o'clock especially when sitting or in a car. But I also carry a subcompact single stack and that makes a huge difference. Retards who try to stuff fuckhuge guns in their pants and go about their daily business expecting it to not get in the way should not be listened to. Do not listen to the man children who insist you need to carry a double stack pistol with 15+ capacity and multiple spare magazines to survive in a self defense scenario. When you're carrying something that will be with you almost all the time but that you more than likely will never have to use for its intended purpose, comfort is key.

Don't shove a pistol in your pants if it wasn't actually designed to be carried inside your pants. Full size pistols are either duty weapons, home defense weapons, or range tools so they should only be carried OWB and in my opinion most "compact" size handguns are the same. If you want IWB go subcompact.

Really just get a gun with a shorter barrel. I tried to get my CZ P-09 to work appendix but it was always uncomfortable because it's an 8.1 inch long gun. Even in a holster where it's riding high it would dig into my leg like crazy. The p2000sk feels great though.

OP it depends on a couple of things
appendix pros:
>easier to draw sitting down
>comfortable in looser pants
>easily adjustable
>easier to tell if you're printing
>more incognito adjustment if you are printing
>don't have to worry about your shirt rising and showing your piece when you sit hunched over
cons
>terribly uncomfortable in tighter pants
>IMPOSSIBLE to tuck a shirt in and not print
>may press against your ribs if you're sitting hunched over and you're not fat
>can be less concealable in shorter shirts
>can print an incredible amount more than 3 to 9 o clock in tighter shirts
those are just my observations anyways

the nice thing about appendix holsters is you can wear them at your appendix, or you can wear them 3 to 9 o clock, I usually carry at about 1 for appendix, or at 12 on my back

I been carrying Aiwb for six years now, started with a sig p238/snubbie and now usually it's a g26/19 in a g code Incog. Get a shield 9/g26 and that and don't be a fatty.

Appendix is my personal best option.

I prevent the digging of the hammer into my stomach by sitting up straight, and sometimes reclining back into the chair a bit.

It would suck to have to draw from that position, though. It's not really ideal for sitting. I'd get a shoulder holster, or just carry 3 o clock/cross draw if I was gonna sit all day.

Definitely. The only time that P2000sk bothers me sitting down is when I'm jabbed by the bottom corner of the kydex, and that's just because I haven't gotten around to rounding it off yet. The shield is almost a half inch shorter and thinner and in a soft leather holster you would probably forgets it's there. I'm 6 ft 180 pounds for reference, and I have had a little experience with a shield in my waistband, don't remember any discomfort.
