I want a melee weapon that is deadly in one skull hit, and has NO maintenance regarding sharpening, rust, etc. I also like maces cuz you dont have to worry about edge alignment when striking flesh and bone.

No edge alignment to worry about. You can swing and wrap around at any angle and if you make contact its gonna ding with a mace. Warhammers have faces and profiled handles - your strikes have to be more linear.

Go with gothic one. Its longer, has more reach which yields higher momentum in your swing, coupled with focusing all that energy into small flanged edges
Polish mace might be heavier but its shorter and doesnt use flanges which spreads out the impact to greater surface area, which is less ideal

The Gothic mace looks like it has more reach, and a flanged mace is almost always deadlier than a solid mace of equal weight. Those sharp flanges on the head will concentrate the impact force to pierce plate armor or rip unarmored flesh.

The rounded Polish mace will still be devastating if you land a blow to the head, but less effective otherwise.

While I fully agree that maces are metal as fuck, wouldn't it be more pragmatic to just buy a quality sledgehammer? It's going to be balanced to beat the fuck out of whatever you swing it at, plus you wouldn't have any trouble finding a replacement handle or head.
