The 1911 is objectively shit. The VP9 is vastly superior in reliability and accuracy.
probably, but in my own experiences even the people who call them old fudd shit that might as well be flintlocks admit they love how they feel and shoot
I myself admit while theyre not completed outdated, they are overhyped and really have no place as a duty gun. CCW or range/competition gun yeah, but theyre oversold for what they are
Boy, I'm sure glad this is still going.
>Based on military and LE experience over the past 25 years, it is virtually impossible to acquire a reliable, durable 1911 for less than $2000.00.
In truth, I prefer the Hi Point. There's a lot less muzzle flip with the heavier slide, you get two extra rounds, and it doesn't jam as much. Moreover, when the pigs seize your gun for "evidence" you're out a couple bills instead of a grand.
The only clear option is to eliminate these fucking yuppie faggots that don't understand perfection.
Gun's too finicky for range use let along pointing at people.
Everyone knows the hi-power is the real classic masterpiece.
a mustang flies by a few seconds later.
>implying a 1000 dollar S&W
m1911 isn't god tier
>there's people in this world that hate some firearms because they just want to hate it
>there's people in this world that would only love one type of gun
>there's people in this world that won't show their love of firearms for any guns created
plebs, all of them
This isn't bait, if you ever needed to use a Hi-Point in self defense and the police claimed it as evidence (100% guaranteed) you will most likely never see the firearm in question again. Might as well be a .$200 pistol than a precious gem.
i daily carry my 1911. kept telling myself i'd trade or sell it for something else. but I just can't. I love the feel and the single action trigger.
it probably helps I'm the average size of a man from 1930's 5'4''
it also helps let people know that i have a huge horse cock and all that. something something Audrey Hepburn.
Why can't you buy a Colt, Springfield, Sig, etc. etc. for $1000ish because you like it and it works, use it if you need to, and then buy another one if you need to? I could see that as one small factor of many, but if that is the ONLY thing keeping you away from a 1911, I would 1.) ask how many fucking people are you shooting everyday? and 2.) why don't you fucking move?
I think it's worth it.
>be U.S.M.C. old fag that dig a 5 year contract in the '90s
>have brother-in-law who was a Air Force fag during the same time
>not see sister's senpai for awhile.
>acquire a Kimber in 45 chamber in the meantime.
>Kimber actually runs bretty gud
>Go shooting with Bro-in-law
>He's never shot a 1911
>all he has are an H&K and Glock series 26 9mm shits and some no-name 38 revolver.
>shoots the shit out of my Kimber
>Kimber has one FTF because of shit Kim-pro mag
>use my Wilson Combat mags forevermore
>Bro-in-Law is now a 1911 fag
