After getting my first Ruger, I see it as the Chevy of guns.
They kinda suck, but for some reason America loves them.
>good handing and fun but overpriced as shit and very unreliable
He seems on point
Though most people here clearly don't know shit about cars.
>someone calls colt ford
Lmao. Colt is fucking horrible and the guns that are worth getting cost an arm and a leg, not ford.
Hi-Point is probably Honda.
Low quality, but does the job while being ugly as sin. Also, just like Hi-Point fanboys, Honda fanboys will defend Honda to their dying breath.
>Lmao. Colt is fucking horrible and the guns that are worth getting cost an arm and a leg.
Yeah, exactly why I compared it to Ford. Both companies are shadows of their former selves, both source components from shitty foreign manufacturers, and both are overpriced for the quality you get.
Nice meme. Modern ford is getting their act together and so is Chevy, mainly speaking to their cars but they are far better than they were in the mid 2000s.
Disagree. The fusion and the focus to name a few are actually pretty damn good cars.
>Nice meme. Modern ford is getting their act together and so is Chevy, mainly speaking to their cars but they are far better than they were in the mid 2000s.
I had a 2004 VW Touareg for a good number of years. Finally sold it with just under 400,000 miles on it. Aside from oil changes, break pads and other normal maintenance, that car never had an issue.
I'd say they're reliable enough
>he can't form an argument about anything without having to make shitty analogies about cars
I'm not going to spoon feed you every car mag and shit, you can check reliability ratings and even reviews like car and driver to see. The focus is actually a pretty cool little fun car in manual.
>He hates it when people talk about fun things he doesn't understand.
I think you might be the autistic one.
-Lost most of their major contracts
-Didn't change or offer new consumer products afterwords
-One of the more popular brands
-Changed their lineup when oil prices starting going up to meet changing demand
-Only major car company that didn't get a bail out
Eh, companies seem pretty different to me.
Every generation has the same appearance as the one previous with minimal internal differences between them.
Cheaply made, and only enjoyed by minorities and old people.
They're good for a single stack. The SR series is also good. People are crying about ruger because they got tired of hearing the ruger supporters when the vickers thing at SHOT happened.
Also apparently the American pistol sucks because MAC and his cameramen didn't like the grip/rubbed weird, couldn't rack the slide off his boot/belt and it wasn't anything special.
>They kinda suck, but for some reason America loves them
I'm not sure what kind of Chevy you've been driving, but I'd sure like me one of these.
>implying ford chevrolet chrysler jeep dodge buick mercury gmc and the rest are any different at all
They're all equally redneck trash entry level brands using extreme bottom-basement materials and components assembled by overpaid, unskilled, uncaring unionized slackers and sold at 200-300% fair price to idiots who missed the 20 year old memo that Japanese and German vehicles are superior in every single way, including price.
The Ford Focus and Cadillac CTS-V are the ONLY two exceptions, and both of them were unsurprisingly designed, tested and built outside the US by Britain and Germany respectively.
Wew lad sick meme you got there. German cars suck. Theyre only reliable to about 80k miles and then they start having serious issues.
And in no way more affordable. But when you actually buy a german car you'll figure that out.
An outdated brand that used to be great, but now is only enjoyed by old people and minorities and trailer trash that don't know better.
Only alive because of the government. Never comes out with anything new and cool.
>Ruger makes some of the best .22lr handguns and rifles ever
>Ruger makes amazing, reliable revolvers that adhere to every standard and reach every expectation you can have
>Ruger makes high quality semi automatic handguns that are known for reliability
>Ruger perfects casting parts, which allows for better guns at lower prices and is something other companies have tried for ages and never been able to do
>Ruger .22lr weapons are some of the most consistent reasons the last couple of generations get in to fireworks, and has secured gun supporters for the foreseeable future who will be able to the defend the second amendment
"Rugers kinda shit tho cause I don't want to get made fun of by /k/"
Mine looks just like this. I think this is one of their better looking guns
That's why I posted it, bretty cool
fuck no definitely toyota
>ricer shitboxes=glock brand glocks
>shitty mods like tail fins and flame paint=stippling
>tacky as fuck
If you want a Porsche comparison try kimber
>makes the porche911/kimber1911
>only thing they make right anymore
>all new ventures into cars/guns are massive failures and quietly swept under the rug
I'd say honda is more like s&w, non revolver division.
>ugly in a cute way
>flagship products sell like hotcakes and are impeccable (s&w shield, civic, etc.)
>rarely venture into special snowflake markets
>when they do they're flops/failures
elements run like watches and are handy as fuck with their removable seats and draining rubber floors but are discontinued. Hondas pickup failed instantly
>sticks to ARs/striker handguns and civics and CRVs respectively
>You realize glock makes more than just the 80s-00s guns you're crying about right? They have expensive shit too.
git back to your containment board, you're getting rice(r) all over the carpet
you are literally confirming my point
>inb4 naw bra my super awesome nitrous system totally makes my toyota a racecar
>inb4 naw bra my super awesome Lone wolf glock barrel totally makes my glock a racegun
Guys the Daewoo DH51 is the Daewoo of guns, wouldn't you agree?
I'd say the Hi-Point is the Nigger Car of the car-gun company comparison
>but niggercar isn't a brand anon
every car you see with 3 different color body panels, rust, steel rims with no hubcaps, aftermarket tinting, and made in the early 90's
>ugly as shit
>looks like complete shit
>3/4 cylinders working
>you can hear it's belts screaming in agony from the inside of your car
>license plate in the rear mirror
>running 1 or more spare tires
Down in the ghettos of S Florida I've seen that shit; a niggercar with 2 bald spare tires going down the road
>driving probably cause/10
>lights are fucked to hell and back
>one side mirror
>280,000 miles on the speedo
>just won't stop running
>costs $200, just like a hipoint.
I'm a die hard Chevy fan, but two engine lines, fuck it lets throw the LS series in too, but 3 ENGINE lines don't make the whole of the company or the quality of the vehicle. Every US manufacturer is cranking out varying degrees of shit with a few perks, they all look like ass and brand loyalty is about all that seperates em anymore.
TIL that people that pretend to know a lot about guns also think they know a lot about cars
