This is wrong. Prion diseases have a risk of transmission via blood transfusion.

Basically, OP, there is no way to remove the prions at all. They can survive extremely high temperatures and anything you could do to destroy them would render the meat inedible. The reason eating animals isn't as risky is because we don't contract the diseases or conditions that is accustomed the the host. Prions aside, it's a dumb thing to do.
