Does anyone have a screencap of the thread where a /k/omanndo unboxes PP19 parts from Russia?
Also Russian subgun general I guess.
Who the fuck puts a scope on the bottom lol stupid Russians this is why America won the cold war
I asked before so I could try hunting down the screencap myself since nobody who has it is posting.
Now everyone is convinced that any alphabet soup gives enough of a shit to try to hunt down one random guy who got PARTS of a gun. Not even a full gun. It would be totally legal too.
But nooooo, le atf pls go XDDDDDDD
Holy shit, that's awesome.
Did that Anon ever spill the beans on where to find the elusive un-fucked PM-63 frames? Never got to see how that turned out.
That's from before it was cut up. I'm going to have all the engraving recreated so one day it'll look that nice again.
No real progress sadly other then I've been modeling the bolt.
I never saw if he did, it's really easy to reweld them though
How is that coming? Last I heard you were short a few parts, but had most of the build.
Damn I wish we could get helical mags. Probably unreliable and fucks the balance up like crazy, but it's so neat.
It was from Russia and I was just happy to get any of the parts. (Wish I was more picky and got all the sections)
Yeah, a few but nothing I can't recreate.
The balance actually is pretty good, very light like a 74u and most the weight is right in your hand (the mag)
Ribbed for her pleasure
If I don't have the parts or drawings, take the dimensions I do know (width of the receiver rails, ejector location, placement of the recoil spring) and fill in the blanks. I'm probably going to have it 3D printed to test everything is correct.
Download Fusion 360 it's free
Why on earth didn't the guy give pics of dimensions before chopping it up?
Unrelated but how feasable would it be to cast a figure in Woods metal and accidentally get a shotgun reciver in there?
PP-91 Kedr (9*18 mm PM) / PP-9 Klin (9*18 mm+ PMM) / PP-2011 Kedr-Para (9*19 mm Para)
extra-compact carbine based on AS Val
I kinda did but wasn't even sure any of it would arrive at all. $1600 gamble that something would show up.
>I was more specific this time. Mag body never......usps "lost" it.
What about a shotgun?!
Wood's metal has gallium which will chew the fuck out of aluminum so steel receivers only or wrap an aluminum very well before casting. Not sure why you would bother when 99% of the time the post and customs are trained to recognize the shape of complete guns so you probably don't even need to do anything but strip it and hide it with a bunch of tools
Does that apply to the gun after you modify it with foreign parts? Like, I buy an import AK, is it illegal to add foreign parts to it? Also, what about milsurp like moist nuggets? Do they need to be modified?
I´m still pumped for the MP56 build
hopefully it will be completed in the near future
are you going to upload the building plans?
> tfw no Lightning SMG
can somebody speak polski?
I want those freaking plans
922r says that any gun that is banned from import cannot be assembled domestically with more than 10 foreign parts. Yes, that means that you can't add 11 slav parts to your American AK. Nuggets aren't banned from import, so 922r does not apply to them.
There's not an official list because it's all open to the ATF's "interpretation" but the legislation in question is https://www.law.cornell.edu/uscode/text/18/925 (see sections d and e)
Essentially, we don't get to import anything that Loretta Lynch does not consider to have a legitimate "sporting purpose" (and no, practical shooting does not count - these people only consider hunting).
Noguns here, bear with me.
I kinda like the aesthetics of the bizon
But how well does it perform as a weapon ?
Would it be a viable military issue or just a fun oddity for the range ?
>How feasible is it for someone with limited machining experience to build a parts kit from like Apex
About a day on youtube with a notepad and $200 in tools if it's an AK
>SMG or something
About $400 in welding, materials, consumables and practice scrap maybe $450 if you are completely without tools and a month or so of practice before you get to the level needed.
>Can you buy a ton of receiver sections and reweld them?
Sure, just don't sell it for profit or sell it and get caught.
Daddy's money can't unfuck import bans or if it was daddy's money they would hide it piecemeal but whole in a cargo container full of tool parts with a couple more SVDs and Vintorezes for luls.
STENs are hilariously easy. I built mine with a dremel and welder, with little metal working experience. It came out janky as fuck, but a working semi-auto 9mm carbine for like $300. It would have been even easier to build it full auto. I definitely don't have a full auto size tube and original bolt laying around, though
What did you use? I don't really need to weld for anything in my life right now so I don't want to spend the cash now but I also want something that will actually work for when I do need it.
All the Chink and Slavshit allowed into Canada and this is on the ban list.
If you've never welded before you'll want someone who knows how to teach you and some scrap metal to practice on. It's not hard at all, it's just there's some technique to doing it properly
practise for one day, or get a friend who can weld for you
it´s not that hard
