No anon. If you look at the production numbers from lets say Olin-Winchester and take out the government contract for 40 cal, they make about 4x as much .40 as they do .380 and it sells well. Just because people are buying pocket guns for carry doesn't mean they buy a ton of ammunition to practice with. Also, when the FBI and local agencies switch to 9mm, .40 overflow from Olin alone will drive the price to sub 9mm levels while the price on 9mm will rise as the supply is choked by a govt contract.

I am more accurate and faster with the 238 over the 938. My target acquisition on follow up shots is much quicker as well meaning a big plus for the 238. Will I get a 938? Probably. I am in the process of selling my 9mms, and I will eventually get a USPc or P30 to replace the other two.

Right now I have one 12 gauge, a Mosin, one .40, one .45, 2 38spcl one of which is my Pop Pops Model 10, and 2 9mms which are ready to sell. I also have a AR partially built. There is nothing wrong with owning guns of various caliber and purpose.

I used to be worse, I had 4 9mms all about the same size and purpose. I have been selling them off slowly until I will eventually have 2 guns in each of the 3 major pistol calibers. I will have a rifle for combat, and a shotgun for combat, and a slimstack 9mm for summer CCW. Everything else will just be extra. I can afford all of this when I get things turned around in my life, but for now I need to play triage.
