Yeah, this Shot Show was pretty terribad. There were a few cool things hear and there, but for the most part, nothing special.

The Cobalt Kinetic stuff was definitely interesting, and getting to shoot their new mag drop bolt release system was really cool. I feel like it needs a few redundancies and manual control, but even in its current iteration it worked well.

Surefire has a new Ryder MP5 model which was sweet, but not very many people use 3-lug mounts, so that will only be popular among smaller communities.

Battle Arms PDW lower was cool.

New STI and Agency Compensated guns are sweet. Didn't get a chance to shoot the STI, but the Agency shot like heaven. Excited to finally see a sight tracker glock, and it was definitely my favorite thing at SHOT.

Mega Arms' new 308 pattern was crazy lightweight.

SilencerCo's booth was fucking awesome, as usual, albeit a bit toasty on the first day. The Maxim 9 was also extremely sweet. Excited to see where it goes.

Daniel Defense has a new keymod hand guard that was comfy, and their Gen 2 ISR shot well(especially on full auto)

The stuff at the show itself was pretty mediocre, but the people are all awesome.
