This threads dedicated to what we have seen so far in shot show 2016. Post your videos and pics of what you are excited for what's new and interesting.
I'll start with this. IWI to import X-95s to the US.
This little thing seem pretty bad ass. Especially if you are a person that constantly is changing shit on their AR.
A couple weeks ago some anon asked about a survival rifle like this. Assuming he wasn't a company plant, here it is- a multicaliber revolving survival rifle.
I know AR500 is working on it but I still want to see what this thing is going to actually look like.
> Exeter shit
But I'm still really excited about this. I'm moving to commiefornia and might use it as a carry piece
You can bring any and all handguns to the state from another state. The official stance is you're supposed to FFL them to yourself or at least declare them to the CADOJ when you move here but nobody does that.
If I were you, bring as many off-list handguns to the state and sell them for a $200-300 markup. Its what people with connections out of the state are doing. For highly desired stuff, they can usually make about $1000 or more a month.
Sig P239's are selling for $1200. I'd be lieing if I said I didn't consider selling my handguns that fell off the roster for $300 more than I paid for them.
Yep, before they closed the "magazine parts kit" loophole, people could charge an extra $1-$2 per magazine to ship a "parts kit" instead of the whole magazine.
And yeah, individuals were reselling thousands at gunshows. I saw Pmag "kits" selling for $25 a piece, $20 if you buy 5 or more.
Back to OPs thread. Seems like the only new things i'm seeing at shitshow are stuff most of us will never have like supressors, NFA items, and minor changes to existing guns.
Thoughts on the new S&W Victory? Everything I've seen so far looks great. Got a can ordered already, was going to get a Ruger 22/45 as a host but this looks like it may be better for the money.
Probably not. I just want to know if they going to kill it as it's been a year and a half since the total recall and two years since it was shown to be complete garbage that should never have been allowed to leave the factory and they have kept pushing back the date to re-release it.
All of my scum in my balls is churning for this.
Besides the fact with a hack saw you just made a 7.62x39 revolver, the fact that 5.45 isnt listed seems like it was just not thought of and would work perfect in the tube that holds 5.56.
I want this
Trench Gun Reproduction
Troy Tomahawk Stock
so much want and so much to save up to
Yeah they're making a California legal RDB.
It actually looks pretty nice, but since my hometown is the same as Kel Tec, I'll just be buying the regular version.
If they make more than five that is.
Don't worry man, I'm right there with you on that one.
How isn't that more popular in this thread?
>mfw I found out they HMG was doing the StG repros
Why not 'murrican?
I wish automatic mag and bolt releases were available as standard options in more firearms.
I dont know what exactly, but FLIR booth is gonna be showing off something new tomorrow.
>please be a cheaper rifle sight
No, they got asked. They said they could do it, and at the time had NO US presence and had no idea. They didnt come up with it, they didn't know and they dropped the project the moment they learned.
research indicates Robinson arms and JBI armory produced and sold 5.45 pistols. An unknown importer wanted to import a RADOM 5.45 pistol, RADOM said they could do it. paperwork was submitted, but no pistols were ever actually imported.
2 years later, the ATF bans 7n6 claiming Radom.
I want the FS2000 back also, but updated. No gasket and either a new shell or faster access to the empty space in the shell. I really don't want to pay scalper prices for one of my dream guns
Got a few at my shop. It shoots just like a Mk3, feels just like it too. Trigger is decent, factory sights are better, and modularity and takedown are better. Hoping Ruger takes notes and improves the mk3 to compete because I fucking hate takedown on those things.
I want this gun so fucking bad. High build quality, adjustable integrally suppressed, holsterable, and looks like a goddamn space gun. Only complaint is the expected price tag, but it's about in line for a high quality pistol and a silencerco suppressor so I can't really complain too much.
What the fuck is that anime ass looking gun
>The first ever integrally silenced 9mm handgun.
The new .510 beck ar builds look pretty sweet, thoughts?
This is the article I was reading, basically you can switch out your upper if you have a .308 lower, and you will be sending subsonic .50cal rounds down range
I just pre-ordered the .308 MDR. I'm probably going to regret it. If I do I guess I can just flip it and buy a SCAR.
So im at shot atm, they have these twitter feeds on them all over the place, im very sure noone monitors it. Ill take pics if you guys post anything good.
>While the Bushmaster section of the Remington booth had several ACRs…
>The Remington Defense section, which usually shows off the hottest new prototypes, was totally bereft of that rifle.
>Also missing entirely from the Remington booth was the R5, Remington’s piston-operated AR-15 variant. I asked a Remington Defense representative why these two guns were missing, and he said that neither had received any real interest, because both of them were too expensive to be competitive. In his words, regarding the R5 in particular “The HK416 is a fine rifle, but it’s pretty expensive. The R5 was twice the cost of an HK416, and nobody was willing to pay that much for a rifle.” According to the representative, development of both those weapons has ceased, and Remington is focusing on other projects.
How the fuck did the manage to make an AR-15 that costs 2x that of a HK416 and think that they could actually get military contracts for it
I ordered the 5.56 version in FDE myself, Thought about the .308 version but i already have a scar17 to fill that position. Also did you order straight from the site or did they have you go through one of their retailers? I put my pre-sale over at cstactical
I went straight through their website t odo it. I'm waiting on a phone call back that is supposedly going to give me military pricing on my order. Curious to see how much it drops the overall cost.
>Giving a shit about 922r at all.
Run me through the scenario in your head where you would get in trouble for violating 922r.
Don't use your non-compliant gun to hold up any small businesses. Don't use gunsmiths without putting you guns in the cuck configuration.
And if you're worried about it as a tack-on charge, you've got bigger problems. Look at the courts' history of prosecuting private individuals for 922r violations if you still feel sketchy. Id be more worried about the other laws you're probably violating without knowing.
I can't believe IWI fucked up x95. The whole purpose of x95 is for us to sbr it with a stamp. There is little difference between this and sar. It's just a bit more compact with a different mag release. Whoopty fucking doo
Shot Show this year was pretty disappointing. There were a few cool things hear and there, but for the most part, nothing special.
The Cobalt Kinetic stuff was definitely interesting, and getting to shoot their new mag drop bolt release system was really cool. I feel like it needs a few redundancies and manual control, but even in its current iteration it worked well.
Surefire has a new Ryder MP5 model which was sweet, but not very many people use 3-lug mounts, so that will only be popular among smaller communities.
Battle Arms PDW lower was cool.
New STI and Agency Compensated guns are sweet. Didn't get a chance to shoot the STI, but the Agency shot like heaven. Excited to finally see a sight tracker glock, and it was definitely my favorite thing at SHOT.
Mega Arms' new 308 pattern was crazy lightweight.
SilencerCo's booth was fucking awesome, as usual, albeit a bit toasty on the first day. The Maxim 9 was also extremely sweet. Excited to see where it goes.
Daniel Defense has a new keymod hand guard that was comfy, and their Gen 2 ISR shot well(especially on full auto)
The stuff at the show itself was pretty mediocre, but the people are all awesome.
