>Not shit bullpup trigger
Red pill me on the MDR /k/. Why shouldn't I get one to be my general purpose rifle?
See, that's the problem. How do we know Desert Tech won't just mirror Kel-Tec with respect to their production numbers? Even if they start shipping in Q2 2016, who knows when you'll actually get one. OP's question was, and I quote ''why shouldn't I get one.'' Because, you can give Desert Tech your money now, but you still can't physically procure one because they're not released yet.
>Kel-Tec RDB might be better.
It isnt, they've openly stated the RDB is meant to be a cheaper, easier to produce and not as nice version of the RFB.

My RFB's serial is in the 200s, they could always be had on gunbroker.
What's the price on it?
They've arguable created the perfect platform, assuming it ends up reliable and accurate. Better snatch them up quick, I can see demand being pretty high initially. For the past 2-3 years no one has shut up about it, and for the past 2-3 years its been coming out "next year".
let post a superior forward ejection gun
A bird in the hand is worth two in the bush. If you already have a rifle though and you really want a bullpup, it's probably worth waiting to see how they turn out. Might turn out nice.
As for giving them money now and hoping for a good product later... Go ask /v/ how pre-ordering worked out for them.
Real men aren't lefties and know how to properly deflect casings when they need to.
>untested design with no laurels
>made by Mormons
>been vapour for years
>looks like a fucking penis
Maybe itll be good.
I wouldnt buy for a couple years til its been reviewed and tested and shot 30-40k rounds.
Buy a Tavor or AUG if youre itching for a bullpup now.
I'd be in the market for one when and if they get it to the market, and after a few people run the shit out of theirs to verify reliability, identify problems, and let desert tech fix them in the production line.
If this snowflake makes it that far, I will buy one.
>Tfw they don't make an AUG in something that isn't 5.56. Not that I dislike 5.56, I would rather have a larger cartridge though, especially if I can't have a giggle switch.
The .223 version is the same price, lighter, and more accurate. There's literally no reason to buy the X95 over this.
At least the market price of the SAR21 has dropped to more reasonable levels, but the X95? No way.
but a 6.5 Grendel AUG would require a new bolt, a .300 BLK is cooler
There's a good chance they'll cost more than the MDR even. KelTec is only going to do limited runs of them as a special edition/collector's item.
I'd much rather have a 6.5 over .300, But I'd take either over 5.56. Whatever that company in the US that made AUG clones was, MSAR, was supposed to make 6.5 SPC conversion kits and rifles available. But, then they folded, and it was as vapor as Half Life 3. Picture for pictures sake.
You can see how they got the weight down so much - the bolt carrier group is miniscule. They better be pretty confident in their sealed system fouling protection, because there isn't a whole lot of reciprocating mass inertia there if the carrier gets slowed down by something.
The delayed free-float tappet piston is neat as hell though. I don't doubt the 1 MOA claim if their MDR barrel blanks are the same Walther Lothar CHF as their SRS line.
>Been in testing for a couple of years
>Straya's pretty atheist m8
>Has been bought by the ADF and is in the process of entering service
>For fucking the enemy
It's already had tens or hundreds of thousands of rounds fired through it and has been reviewed by 3rd party:
