maybe you can buy a bersa 380 they're from argentina. they're called thunder, it comes in 380 and 22, for defense the 380 is fine, it's a reliable gun, i like it more than the walter ppk wich's a copy of.
Also from the safe signature comes the thumder pro and the thunder cc, they're all cheap, even the top class bersa tha'ts called the xt, it's use by the military in argentina and also the police, in comparasion with the taurus they're more ergonomic, and the xt and the thunder far more quality.

It's a decent fullsize 80s style two tone ghettoblaster. I got it mainly for plinking, and I feed some SHITTY ASS reloads through this thing, Like I gotta karate chop this thing with the slide against the range table to clear jams, shots that clearly go off to the side, etc... And when I put decent ammo in it after all that silly shit, it works fine like nothing happened. (P.S. I don't intentionally abuse it anymore or even intentionally in the first place, I bought a shitload of really really bad reloads when I bought it, and when I finally finished it I started buying better plinking ammo because it was a pain in the ass to have not be able to get through more than 20 shots on average before I had to clear some kind of problem)

I wouldn't recommend it for carry, it's too fat imo.

But if you want a big, sturdy, cheap, reliable pistol, Ruger P95DC isn't bad at all

If you want quality for the price, Canik TP9.

If you just want absolutely dirt cheap, get a Hi-Point. They're ugly, heavy, have shit ergonomics and magazine capacity, but they're typically only 150 bucks and come with a life time no questions asked warranty.
