Lets get an EDC thread goin... What yall packin?
I always have my S&W 649 .357 mag
Boker or Kabar fixed blade and
Kershaw leek or Boker Urban Trapper
Victorinox Swiss Army watch
rest is self explanatory
How do you like the gun?
I was looking at buying this one for my... girlfriend. $400, NIB, on sale.
The two I saw I want too get seem too only be able too shoot .38 but they look so damn good and one is actually a good price:475. How much you pay for yours, what year and model can fire .357? Thanks.
Youre probably thinking of the 638, they are way more common than the 649 which isnt being produced anymore, mines a 2008 that I paid $500 for at a gun show.
Fuck off Snow Nigger I was just about to suggest it to him!
Tell me son, have you heard of our lord and savior Apex?
I shoot my Shield at 100yds when I go to the range, the trigger is that good.
>You need the trigger and the carry kit with new sear and everything though.
I'll consider changing it, but I had the thought of holstering it in my leather holster and snagging the trigger. Would hate to have a golden saber rip thru my leg. Do u feel safe holstering it off safety?
Manurhin MR 73
great guns. the holster fits both. I carry the sad looking trade in on days I expect to get wet, dirty, or sweaty, but even so the holster and jacket have done a superb job keeping them clean and dry.
the grips are by Karl Nill, but haven't seen them listed on their site in a long time. I really wish they'd make that shape for other revolvers too.
Did you tell him you got 3rd?
Also, I feel like you have an advantage with that Pre-B's fucking trigger. You need a fiber optic front sight and real rear sight so you can be a ninja.
What's with you and 7's?
Dude, if you get another Pre-B you NEED to update those fucking sights. Just look at them, they have the dots for white paint, at least do that. I got the sight paint here at the house, I'll do it for you.
you may have scared him with the prison talk
note 3 is my go to phone. use it for everything and as a notepad.
s&w model 36 no dash. looking yo replace it and put it back in safe but got now gets the job done. Like pocket carry more since I often can't count on specific wardrobe options.
Kabar tdi.. nice little letter opener.
Victorinox climber I like that it has very useful snips.
old Pastigli candy box used to discretely hold plenty of spare 38spl rounds although it's a bit heavy. discrete though.
Partita cigars. usually prefer full cigars but in the winter I don't want to be outside for ages..
Skullcandy strum ear buds. suprisingly comfortable and alot of value for cheap headphones. I'm no audiophile but having an in line mic for calls as well as volume slider and install call answer or mute button Is useful. plus comes with case and flat wire so it doesn't get too tangled.
Ozark Trail flsshlight. My streamlight was a bit big and found this when I was out. Definatly no heavy duty workhorse but holds up well as a cheap throw around light and as a seen here can be used as a small lamp.. useful when going through things in the dark often more than a directed beam and runs on 1 aaa. Cheap yes... functional yes.
Atm looking at picking up a px4 compact or even a p2000sk since my local store has good deals on them atm. Although just got offered a new in box model 40 in either blued or Nickle for dirt cheap so...kind of torn.
Thank you my trigga, it absolutely is. I usually CC a G26, and the days I go from that to the HK are like breathing fresh mountain air. Everything from the grip, to the trigger, to the sights...love the extended slide lock, and the paddle mag release is...actually fun and quick as hell.
Let me just say, though, that the decocker is exceptionally well thought out. It's right next to the hammer, so no added bulk, and it allows you to press your thumb against the side of hammer as it falls to dampen any noise when you decock
Oh I love it, If it wasn't in such good condition (no dash from the 70's with original box and paperwork in 98%) I wouldn't bother looking into a replacement. Shoots very well and is comfortable to handle. Sights aren't too bad, the thin front sight is fantastic but rear is a little thicker than id like, Leaves very little room for light but then again were working with a very tiny sight radius and a gun intended for 15 yards or less. Love the old grips too, I know alot of people swap them out or at least throw on a tylers t grip but it fits my hand well and the checkering is still very sharp so it grips exceptionally well. Trigger is a bit heavy though, amazingly smooth though.
The regular 49 is definitely a good choice, a nice 38+p is all i carry anyways, go for it bro.
I usually just put it in my inner jacket pocket, or keep it in the truck, a big fixed blade like that boker is all I need when just walking around.
how do you guys carry? do you wear a big shirt or big jacket?
what do you do when you change(take off your sweater and stuff)? wouldnt it become really noticeable?
also is .380acp ok for CC?
I wear a think work jacket this time of year, I keep my snubby in the inner pocket, its small enough and the jacket is thick enough for it not to print. Pocket is deep enough for it not to fall out either.
I usually dont even carry it, I keep it in my truck most of the time with an under the steering wheel mount. My boker fixed blade is usually all I really need when walking around.
Whats up cavemen?
One or the other depending on what I'm doing and the weather. I just got some CompTac mag carriers in the mail today that I'm excited about.
lab rat here
>$1200+ full size plastic peashooter with attached flashlight and no holster
>brick sized calculator that was discontinued twelve years ago
I hate you.
Forgot my lip balm at home ;_;
Gonna add some earbuds to this soon
>Is that the fisher pen?
>How you like it?
Nothing to write home about. It's nothing special pen-wise, except for the form factor. I can fit the pen, the knife, and the light all in my jeans coin pocket.
gerber ghost strike, present from my brother
Usually pretty anti-gerber, especially since the bear grylls takeover/QC drop off. But it's light and sharp, comfy and secure in the hand. And the sheath is surprisingly nice

I just lost my Zebra F-301, looking for replacement
Either with a jacket when not at work. Or with my work clothes.
It is in Texas, but that doesn't help
Shoulder holster would be nice, but Texas is hot in summer, and I wouldn't wear it over a t-shirt.
both good choices i just recently went from muh fudd buck workman from 1970 something to a kershaw clash very much satisfied just liked that emerson aesthetic
No. GTFO. Every dec thread. EVERY ONE OF THEM. You have to post you "cool guy" edc. Get the shit off of your helmet, stop carrying so many speed strips, and polish that fucking table with some liquid gold you numb nut. For the sake of all that is holy, at least, TAKE A NEW PICTURE
Either gun depending on how I'm dressed or where I'm going, +2 mags for whatever I'm taking. Haters gonna hate
>Every dec thread. EVERY ONE OF THEM.
I don't even have cell or internet service at home. I can only post when I'm visiting family or otherwise somewhere with a cell signal. I'm sure a ton of guys post more than I do, no idea why only mine bothers you.
>You have to post you "cool guy" edc.
never said I was a cool guy. I just like cool stuff.
>Get the shit off of your helmet,
I give it a quick wipe down every day, but don't spend too much effort since it just gets dirty again.
>stop carrying so many speed strips,
the jacket just has a lot of pockets that would otherwise be empty
>and polish that fucking table with some liquid gold you numb nut.
all my furniture is 20 year old hand me downs. I don't really care if it looks bad.
>For the sake of all that is holy, at least, TAKE A NEW PICTURE
I'll take a new pic when I carry new stuff.
>"wut are those"-tier shoes
timberlands. that was just a quick saturday ride. I normally wear pic related
not far off. Lee carpenter jeans haven't come in black since I was in high school, so they're ten years old at least.
>not having touch screen compatible gloves
no, but they're kevlar lined, fit my had perfectly, and work great for riding or shooting
>slow and gay bike that isn't Japanese
it can't keep up with the rice rockets on the road or dirt bikes on the trails, but it can go just about anywhere fast enough
Replaced Fitbit with Apple Watch.
Also waiting on crossbreed minituck for 9mm Shield. Thinking about changing my order to supertuck but can't decide.
I'm 6'3" and 220lbs so I hope I'm not too big for a minituck.
I am >>28611986
I use shield 9mm as beach speedo CC
Glock 19 as fall/spring carry
Glock 20 as winter carry
Just got the glock 20 will probably get a crossbreed for it after my shield crossbreed comes in mail.
Anyone have experience with crossbreed mini tuck vs super tuck? I went with mini for the shield, thinking of changing my order to super.
It's me again with some discontinued cold steel
The sogzilla is nice. It's basically a knock off of the spyderco endura but with a little curve to it. Makes it a really comfortable grip. possibly the best $25 knife I have gotten to date
