How would you fight against this?
Muv Luv tactics autism thread
Good luck trying to intercept warheads going 8+ KM/S.
It's not twice, it's three times.
Did we not reach the conclusion that B1-B with modified cluster bombs could destroy hordes of BETA?
I know you are not supposed to /thread your own post but i'm gonna do it anyway
Do what America did when they found a hive in Canada
Wipe the entire country off the face of the earth with enough nuclear weapons to make hiroshima/nagasaki look like a couple grenades blew up
>someone remembers my post
I want to expand on that idea. Each bomblet would instead of the traditional HEAT payload, be a micro Casaba Howitzer. pic semi-related.
>Even the best laser shitler can't touch the flight ceiling of a BUFF
This is the air force's wet dream
Carpet bomb the fuckers into oblivion
Come on nippon, if you're going to wank about teenagers driving mechs you can at least be thorough in explaining why conventional forces are ineffective
>they have the manpower, facilities and technology to make mecha
Does it look like this world makes any sense? I'm just trying to have some fun here.
Muv Luv is basically revisionist nip's wet dream. Axis dindu nuffin wrong, evil soviet and evil america destroying grorious nippon honour and seishin and imperial line descended all the way from amaterasu!
Should have used an OG-7W 40mm HE instead of a PG-7V HEAT round.
Punching a single hole into a Tank wont kill it. Better make sure to blow it up entirely or turn it into mince with salvoes of small arms fire.
>doing jack shit to something that shrugged off an RPG like a small punch
By the way, what the fuck WAS inside that PRG round? HE? Doesn't seem like HEAT
That or animators are retarded
Been watching Total Eclipse since the last thread.
It seems like the ideal vehicle would have little armor, be tracked, have a 40mm autocannon and a 120mm+ autoloading high rate of fire cannon. Everything that can damage the tanks in the universe can punch clean through any other kind of armor, so it's worthless as it is, doubly so for those tanks that seem to be covered in ERA for some reason.
Vastly cheaper to afford than mecha.
Also, shit tons of attack helos. DPICM and landmines.
Altitude and range data please. Otherwise animu is just breaking its own rules.
It's 36mm. A weird caliber, but would be as effective as a 35 or 37mm API-T round.
I can understand, tho. An RPG-7 with a HEAT warhead might just punch a hole through the very resilient BETA hide and blow off one of its arms, while many smaller-caliber airmor piercing rounds literally turn it into mince.
That soldier just had a bad luck. In other examples, infantry weapons like the AK and RPGs are very effective against most smaller BETA strains.
My reply from last time hasn't changed: Rods from God. No, lasers can't shoot it down because of plasma sheathe and inert constrconstruction. Hives are stationary so we know where to hit, and the tech to send lots of heavy shit into space exists in this universe already. Just use big enough rods moving fast enough and plenty of them, the hive issue will be solved quickly. Just fight the surviving BETA for the next 10 cold dusty years.
