if cost is no issue within reason, what pistol to buy
>calls a gun a piece of shit
>posts a boat anchor
muh $1600 boat anchor, thank you very much
If you actually want to carry it you should look for guns you like about the size of a Glock 19. A P225 like I have been posting is typically way too big and heavy to CC for most people.
Earlier an Anon recommended the Sphinx SDP which I've heard are great guns and they offer both a compact and subcompact option.
You could also look into the HK series pistols which are high quality and reliable, e.g. USP Compact and P30
best 9mm ever produced
extremely accurate, great trigger, decocker only, 18+1 capacity, and the gas delayed blowback system, along with the weight of the pistol, effectively eliminates recoil
I do. I don't actually like small guns very much though.
I honestly prefer car carry than carrying a gun on me. Such a hassle when walking around downtown and having to go back to the car because there's a 51% sign or 30:06 signage.
I'm afraid to break the law in Texas Anon, you know what we do to law breakers here...
What is /k/'s opinion on the Five Seven? Ammo is probably expensive and it's too big to realistically carry, but the concept seems good regardless.
Hk p2000 or usp compact da/sa with decocker only configuration for carry and home defense purposes.
But hard to drop the glocks because they're so easy to use and maintain and I like button mag releases more than paddle mag release. If I only had Walthers and hk pistols then the mag release would be a non issue.
>too big to realistically carry
Say again turkey, you want my what?
Ruined by that faggot Marisa.
Like taco tits here is ruining sig, as if Exeter and SIG rust wasn't enough.
The ammo is gimmick and if you can find the actual AP ammo it's expensive as fuck.
Fucking trident ammo and wound vectors.
>not posting with your trip
God has spoken to me and he has tasked me with enlightening you people with the new commandments of his gospel.
The 11th Commandment: He who hath not a trip shall see thy Lord's wrath
Nice double-doubles, though.
This is big deal. I would never drop $1500 on a fucking handgun. I can barely justify paying that for an ar15 (before optics and accessories)
OP, the more money you save is the more money that can go into your holster and ammo.
Florida is hot as fuck. You wear less clothing in Florida. You might want to start wearing baggy clothing and wear a pants size up. That'll make it much easier to CC a pistol of choice
I love me a salty anon.
Florida is hot weather so for carry you want something that conceals with shorts and t shirt maybe?
I'd recommend a thin 9mm with a shorter handle.
If it were just for home defense only :
Ammo is pretty cheap. Sub 50 cents a round. The actual gun is the bad part. For what it is, no way is it worth $1250. Fuck that.
It's also a big guy. And the grip is soo long. When I held one, my shooting hand felt streched out.
I disliked the 5.7
>not $600 max
I really really like paddle systems. But I'm a disgusting lefty. I also prefer the LEM trigger.
>Letting a user on fucking 4chan "ruin" a gun.
>This guy I don't like likes this gun, therefore it is shit.
That is petty and childish.
NCfag here, I disagree. I generally wear shorts that are more loose than my pants, and in the summer prefer baggier t shirts and button ups. Now Florida is even hotter, but the idea of loose layers for muh airflow still applies. And because the clothing is loose, its pretty easy to conceal.
I wear 34/34 pants, 36 shorts. I flip between medium and large shirts
6'3, 195 pounds
So that's what baggy is to me.
When you CC, your gun dictates wardrobe or wardrobe dictates gun. Just how it is.
If cost where no issue, would probably buy:
S&W revolver, probably something in the 800 too 1200 price range.
Tec-9(technically a pistol)
>no mk 23 the OG operator pistol
Honestly if I had shekels to blow I'd get:
>fully pimped out FNP inb4 squishy
>FiveseveN inb4 marisa
>Korth pistol + revolver
>artillery/baby red 9
if youre asking for recommendations to your first gun, and money doesn't matter, still, get something basic. It doesn't matter how much money you put into something, if its your first gun then you need practice so get something durable and simple to learn on. Then over time you can upgrade, maybe get something a little more special then a run of the mill glock like a sig or something if you want.
If youre asking about any gun to treat yourself with and don't care about money, go window shopping and get anything you want, maybe split it up so you can get more then one thing
