What gun do you like for pocket carry?
>>
I saw a Beretta Pico for sale at a Gander Mountain recently. Are they reliable/ quality enough for CC? Didn't get the chance to finger fuck it.
>>
>>28553055
beretta nano
even the fns-compact
>>
>>28553055
Sig P238. Everyone i let shoot it loves it but the only problem is its kinda heavy for such a tiny gun
>>
>>28553570
Once you finger fuck it, you'll hate it. Awful trigger, retarded mag release (It's Walther style, but waaay too small to function properly), the grips are too small for midgets (They make a KelTec P3AT look fat) and the pinky extension on the mag is useless.

>doesnt pocket carry a DE
>>
>>28553570
To add into what he said
>>28553833
The slide is also ridiculously hard to pull back. Along with the fact the slide release is effectively useless.
>>
>>28553900
Good to know. Thanks guys.
>>
S&W 36
>>
>>28554548
I like my Pico, so here's my two cents

trigger is long and heavy which I like for a pocket gun

mag release requires you use your offhand to use, but it doesn't bother me since I'm not a tactical operator who needs to drop magazines. But I would rather have a normal one.

Slide isn't hard at all to pull back, I think the older versions had tougher springs but beretta changed that.

Overall I like the little thing. Depending on what Ruger puts out at the shot show I might switch though.
>>
Keltec p32 i like it. Its small and with the mecgar extended mags its got a decent grip. 10 rounds is fine and .32 is plenty lethal
>>
>>28553055
I don't pocket carry because it's retarded, instead you should get a tuckable holster (designed with a clip that grabs your pants/shorts/belt rather than a belt loop) so that you can still get a decent draw and don't have to worry about keeping other shit out of that pocket. I use a Galco stow-n-go holster with a S&W Bodyguard 380 and have no problem carrying it while wearing basketball shorts. Pocket carry should really just die.
>>
Ruger LCP
>>
>>28554592

J-frame bro. 442 here
>>
>>28554626
I'll take that into consideration as well.
>>
Glock 26 with extended 12rd mag and Crimson Trace Laser guard.

Or in real warm weather summer clothes, LCR in 38 +P

love my model 36 for Pocket carry.
>>
>>28554841
I'll look into it, I'm not stuck on pocket carry I just want something that works with every outfit.
>>
>>28554841
pocket carry is more for places that will get you expelled or fired if you are caught.
>>
What is your opinion of the H&K P2000SK for CC?

I use a Ruger LCP as well for pocket carry, only really carry it at work because its too hard to conceal to my G19 under a dress shirt. Only other time I carry it is if I'm feeling really lazy or worried about printing with my G19.

>that LCP has two lasers
>mfw
>>
>>28553570
Put a Pico in you hands and you will change your mind, literally the biggest turd to have ever squeezed out of Berettas bunghole.

Rugay LCP is the answer to your question
>>
>>28553055
The OP gun is an LCp, right? What model is it? Is this a new one or a custom or something?
>>
>>28554592
>>28555351
is hammersnag a real issue? I hate the look of hammerless revovlers and hate DAO, and my LGs has dozens of j frames to pick from
>>
>>28562624
not really. it's pretty clear when exiting all but the tightest pockets.
>>
>>28562624
I've never had a snag drawing from jeans or slacks pockets, but it does snag every time I've tried from an inner or outer jacket pocket
>>
>>28553055
Gee ruger, your mom let you have two lasers?
>>
Been thinking about the NAA .22Mag revolver. Anyone have one? Likes/dislikes?

nigga plz

aint nobody eva been stopped by a 380 and you know it
you need dat dere fouty
>>
Is there any way to get the LCP or a gun like it with a manual safety? Keeping a tiny ass pistol like that in a pocket holster chambered and ready with no safety sounds a little concerning.

How the hell are you guys pocket carrying a J-frame.
If I did that, you would visibly see the outline of a revolver in my pocket. Yall got to be either fat or skiiny.

37 here. Hammer snag can happen if you aren't careful. I ordered a spare hammer that I am going to bob. These little J frames are great for throwing in a jacket or sweater pocket.
>>
>>28565791
Would you say shortening or rounding the hammer is a good idea or not worth it? Also going too buy one of those soon(or try) should I buy one of the new S&W model 36, local place has one for 730. Or look around to try too find one of those or a colt detective?
>>
>>28553570
These people don't know you can send in your pico to get it updated...trigger is 10 times better and slide is easy to function even autist with granny arm muscles can use it

Well though their only .22 or .25, the berretta jetfire and Bob/Tomcat line of mini pistol worth pocket carrying?
>>
>>28553813
Do you carry with the safety on?
>>
>>28565931
As a last-ditch backup, yeah. It's great. Very light, safe, easy to use, very reliable.
I carry a Beretta 950 Jetfire as my backup. My wife carries one in her purse.

Sure, it's only .25 ACP but it can still kill.
>>
>>28563185
Lol got it. Do you use the regular grip or the fold out holster thing?
>>
>>28565791
ah Tyler grip extensions. I just prefer the normal grip
>>
>>28553055
just this, even come with a spare
>>
The gun you choose depends on several factors. The first thing I always consider is the philosophy of use.

lcp. not fun to shoot but it never leaves my side. few weeks ago i just wanted to go to the range and make things go boom, i wasnt really focusing on being accurate or anything. i dumped the whole mag into a man sized target at 20 feet no problem.
>>
>>28566455

I do.

Love my P238. Accurate and even fun to shoot at the range, unlike many .380s.

also, small as fuck, no one will ever know you're carrying.
>>
Glock 42. It's a little bit on the larger side for pocket guns, but it's light, thin, and aims and shoots very well.
>>
I carry my glock 30s in my pocket, dunno man it just werks.
The grip hangs out the pocket, makes it easy to grab onto.

>>
>>28571347
Dirt cheap as in 250 bucks off gunbroker, yes. fine little .22 and a great host for a can. Much more reliable than the 21a since it has a real ejector and extractor.
>>
>>28572966
So 21a not good? Also which is better, jetfire, bobcat or tomcat?
>>
>>28573003
21a is a fun plinker in my opinion, i just wouldn't trust my life to a firearm that has no extractor.
