Are these really this expensive?
I bought one a couple years ago from a friend for $650. I had to sell it, now I'm looking to get one for my dad since he liked mine so much.
I've skimmed gunbroker and even the used ones I've seen are near retail. What do?
>>
>>28545495
$1,000 nib isn't too bad for the tactical model.
btw, the fnx45 is $6-700 but the fnx45 tactical is $9-1100.
>>
That's about right for the tactical model.

If you don't need the threaded barrel and shit, just get the FNX

That's the tactical. The regular FNX is around $650.

I got one a year ago for 350$ from a buddy.

is it as squishy as people say it is?

I think they're good looking, I wonder why you don't see them very often. Is it the price? Or do people consider glocks a similar option with a lower price point?

I bought my FNX45T for $1008 OTD from Grabagun about a year ago. That price seems about right.
>>
>>28549117
How do you like it?
>>
>>28549179
The trigger has a little creep, but it has very light recoil and high capacity. I would compare it favorably with a USP .45
>>
>>28545495
Cheaper than my USP Tactical

this is the only model in history to do that, and this was after it was left out in the sun all day.

after the video was posted, FN literally contacted the YouTuber, sent a replacement that doesn't do that, and took that model to test out what us wrong with it, so it most likely doesnt even happen anymore.
>>
Mine was 950 new.
>>
So, some threads on the end of the barrel and taller sights for around $400 extra?

I mean really?
>>
Why spend $800-$1100 on a polymer handgun when you could get a nice Sig for the same or less?
>>
>>28545495
I don't get why people still think buds has the lowest prices you'll find. That and many others are bass pro tier overpriced. Check slickguns.

Also I've been looking for the 9mm version for around $500 but just can't seem to find one. I didn't think they were that expensive either. But it is FN, they could charge HK prices if they wanted to. Seems like they're going the glock route, prices are actually going UP as the model gets older...
>>
>>28547798
They're very underrated. People know all about glocks, s&w's, sigs, HKs, even fucking XDs. But you rarely see these in a shop so most people just aren't aware of them.

Considering quality, features, and price point, I can't think of any better handgun on the market. The 9 & 40 models are all ambi, they give the option of hammer or striker, safety or no safety, and the .45 has a fucking 15 round capacity and gives the option of tacticool or affordable.

Getting me a FNX9 as soon as I find a good deal. I have to torture test it too to disprove the squishy meme, I can't have it as a duty weapon here if it does that. I live in boiling ass hot Phoenix so we're gonna settle it once and for all.
>>
>>28552715
They're not tactical and they're
>sigs

The FNX tac is FN's version of the USP tac, and it beats it to shit in capacity and price point. If you want something else get something else, if you want the best get FN.
>>
>>28552990
Only downside to the FNX and FNX Tac its pretty finicky with ammo.
>>
>>28545495
Jesus christ, you can get a CANIK TP9SA which is just as good for less than $350.00 out the door.
>>
>>28552990

Price wise, it's actually more expensive in my experience.
>>
>>28553019
4real? I have the FNS and it runs fine with shit ammo, don't see why the FNX wouldn't.
>>
>>28553054
I must be doing something wrong then.
>>
I've shot one a few times, it was a good gun but I really preferred the USP.
>>
>>28552705
The slide is also milled for a MRDS.
>>
>>28554270
And suppressor height sights.
>>
>>28554297
He already said that.
Also they don't actually help, they're way too tall and take up too much area in the MRDS view.
>>
>>28554307
Generally speaking, having the red dot and irons cowitness is a good thing.

Not when they make it impossible to find the damn thing because they block half the sight.

Also a 1/3 is far better than absolute cowitness.

On an AR, lower 1/3rd is faster.
On a pistol, by having both sighting systems in line with each other, you essentially use both. With practice it is faster. If you dont like it, thats cool.
>>
>>28554392
>using both is faster
No, using both bottlenecks at the slower. Irons shouldn't be a factor in using a dot, period.
>>
>>28554381
those ugly exposed frame rails.
>>
>>28553056
I have an fnp that eats anything.
>>
>>28553019
I don't know why that would be. My FNX 40 eats everything. I throw steel case through it mercilessly. I'm about to buy a tactical, I'll confirm or refute this next month.
>>
>>28552980
I'll save you the trouble. Its an awesome gun. I have 1000+ rounds through mine. I've left it in the sun. It gets hot, not squishy that's meme bullshit. Look online I found it difficult to find a local store with one. I rolled the dice and bought one without finger fucking. I now own A fns 9/40 fnx 9/40. All awesome. I want a 45 tactical bad.
>>
>>28553037
Turkroach poorfag detected.

No, not even close. The FNP maybe (I have no experience with that) but the FNX eats everything.

Yeah, a threaded barrel will drop right into any other model of the same caliber effectively giving you an fnx for way less cash.

The striker fired models are $400 for 9/40. That's in direct competition with a m&p, and cheaper than a new glock
