If you have any questions that aren't answered in the forum or at www.nuggetfest.com
You can email me. Likewise if you want on the mailing list for updates send me a message and I'll add you. I'll probably be sending out a mass email tonight.
Would this be worth picking up.
I figured im gonna need cold weather gear and this looks like a good deal.Of course im gonna have gloves and a facemask to go with it.
I have been thinking about this for a while and I have decided it's the right thing to do.
I am going to dress up like dick dastardly and creep around the woods all weekend. I am going to do silly outlandish things to people stuff in an effort to ruin the whole weekend for everyone.
Have stocked up on 7.62x39 Daka, 7.62x54R Nugget Food and 5.56 Kebabeliminator for festivities.
I wonder if we shall have snow?
mabye Canadian Mable taffy if we do?
I'm just trying to help you look good mate. The last thing I want is for everyone to see a bunch of uggo's when nuggetfest footage ends up on CNN. If your ballin on a budget I would recommend the czech m85 parka tho. It's warm and pretty cheap (I copped mine for 20$)
I'm gonna be there in my usual ride, which may or may not be bigger and uglier then the last time I was up in the winter. Pic related, although all the doors will be the same this weekend. I also have to find a piece of sheet aluminum to "fix" the blown out side window... lol
>tfw California and can't afford gad to drive there
When do we get a nugget fest closer to the Midwest.
>piece of sheet aluminum to "fix" the blown out side
are you going to figure out how to Rivit it in place ? that might be the only acceptable attachment method. then you can paint mission markings on the side.
I will be cutting the piece to the same size as the original glass, which when you remove the rubber edging will fit against the sheet metal lip which I'll use self tapping screws to secure it to the body. Also gonna caulk around the inside edge to seal it from elements.
Not sure if I'll leave it bare or paint it up
I have had to do some pretty rigged mods to vehicles in the past. Use some good silicone based sealant so it can expand and contract.
Also don't skimp on the number of self tapping screws/screw it down while the silicone sealant is wet. Sounds like a solid fix.
I request at least 1 "Wacky Race."
Hoping for snow too, definitely going to make snowmen. And blow them up with tannerite.
>when nuggetfest footage ends up on CNN.
I'm not sure if McNiggerator is coming again.
It gets better and better each time I see an update lol.
Yeah, the California crew won't be making the trek down the Lonesome Road this time. Though next meetup will be in Nevada.
Compared to how gas was in California for the last few years, anything below $3 is good.
But yeah, compared with the rest of the country, California is fucked.
All the stupid enviornmentalists and tax faggots are the ones literally lowering the quality of our gas with ethanol and basically hurting our industries by doubling their transportation.
i'm considering it. i was looking to carpool, but nobody else from michigan seems to be going. someone from ohio offered to coordinate, but its going pretty far out of the way just to catch the last half of the drive.
We usually have at least half a dozen people show up early on Thursday. If you show up on Friday I assure you there will already be several people to hang out with and to help you setup.
Creep will distribute a burner phone number he has that you can reach him at when you arrive. If that fails, honk this shit out of your horn and someone will be along in a few minutes. There will be orange flags or signs around to mark the way in.
If you rode in the white dodge truck last summer Nuggetfest, do you have the little rod and twisty knob thing that holds my bed cover in the open position? It fell off at some point and jumped into someone's gear.
I think we will be monitoring an FRS frequency.
I'll listen to say... FRS 3? If there happens to be traffic, I'll post in the thread with the new frequency.
Even easier, I can set my BF to scan through all FRS freqs.
I have no problem picking up people either. I have 4 empty seats in my Xterra.
Implying black people drive lifted suburbans that look like they've rolled thru a zombie apocalypse. Police, especially ones in rural areas, only like to pull over basketball Americans. Not white males like me...
Yes, parking will be the same as before. I'll have signs up like usual.
Hang in there /k/ommrade. Hopefully we'll see you at the next Midwest NuggetFest.
You poor soul.
I plan to head down around midday on Friday. If that works for you, then you are welcome to join me. Once I get to my desktop I will give you a way to contact me.
Does anyone have any tips for making a good skinwalker costume? This is of course completely unrelated to Nuggetfest, and I have no intention of sneaking around the campsite and saying "I wouldn't worry about it"
Totally unrelated to NF but I just had to share because I'm super excited.
I don't know if anyone watches Regular Car Reviews on Youtube [250K subs] long story short, I'm going to be on one of his episodes!
Since I'm passing through PA (where he lives) I got in contact with him to see if he'd want to set something up and he responded yes! I'm meeting him at Cabela's im Hamburg to film a POV drive on Sunday the 7th before I drive home.
>for those who are unfamiliar, instead of primarily reviewing the cars themselves he frequently reviews: the kind of people that drive the cars, stereotypes and tropes surrounding the cars. and throws in the occasional dick joke for good measure.
I'm just kinda stoked that I'm also meeting a semi-celebrity (to me anyway) as well as enjoying an awesome day of shooting.
Apparently I'm a faggot who forgets to attach the image
Well, all I got is my new 14' Nissan Xterra X, which is certainly a "Regular" car. So, we'll do something with that. He'll be doing a POV Drive and a Road & Track article on it.
We may even have an opportunity to do some offroading in it. On the phone he said that there are some PA country park trails nearby.
