Bought my first hand gun
Glock 17 gen 4 in grey
Grats anon !
I'm buying my first gun soon also but used cause I'm poorfag
S&W M&P 9mm
Taurus Millennium PT111 G2
Going to comb the pawn shops and gunstores for these based on /k/ recommends. Looking for a first time learning gun, future CC and Home defense until I get a shotgun.
Anything I can improve or add /k/ ?
>S&W M&P 9mm
I don't like the trigger on these. Make sure you like the feel before you buy it. Unless your going to replace it with one you like. But since you're a poor fag like me you're probably not going to want to spend any more money on the gun after you buy it.
Fags who need an excuse to not get a gen4.
Personally I prefer the gen4, my g26, g19, and g17 are all gen4 and are fantastic.
>dat larger mag release
>dat slimmer grip
NAH WUT I MENE SUN??!
Stupid question, but can you just pull the trigger in the store like that. Obviously I can hold them but wasn't sure what the etiquette/safety is
>Several upgrades to the design
Please list these "upgrades"
>le hickok lieks it
Navy fucking seals use this gun. The worlds most powerful special forces. I think people who buy this gun must be pretty damn good. If it is good enough for the Navy Seals, I am not sure if I could handle something like this though.
You don't need to upgrade anything, the gen 3 is already perfect.
You got me
Magazines run $30 as well
So we are basically talking $100 just in price and accessories
Not including the upgraded design
What makes a gen 3 better?
Or are you just trying to troll poorly
oh god they sold you the unsellable grey one
don't buy freedom munitions
>oh god they sold you the unsellable grey one
Why do you say that? I'm picking up pic related and I had to search high and low for a place that wasn't sold out.
Indeed. Can't wait to get mine. Think it looks great and it's not the usual Glock FDE/OD. Plus not costing me anymore than a black G4. My LGS had some then sold out, now theres a wait list. Few people ahead of me, the rare few I did find online, were 17's or hugely marked up.
Just going off the photos they look slightly different. Either way it looks great, have fun shooting it. Think the 19 will be nice fit for me CC when I get sick of my 26 and also competing in IDPA
>not a 19
You dun fucked up
This is mine
am i the only one who hates the 19? something about it is just off in my hands. im not a glock hater either ive got a 17 and a 26 with intentions of buying a 34. its just that whenever i borrow a 19 i cant do double taps like i can with the 17 or 26. if im shooting slow it feels like any other glock but when i try to speed up it just doesnt work. the first shot will go exactly where i want it but the second will be randomly around it. if i do it with the 17 or 26 the bullets go exactly where i want em both shots
>Willingly choosing grey.
For what purpose? Is it because it's new and somewhat unique or is it that you think it looks better?
For me I like how it looks and I already own a Glock. I wanted a 19 so figured for the same price why not get something a little unique. If I do decide to sell it down the road, maybe it'll help me in doing so.
Gen 3's are still available through most major distributors. They still have them in their warehouses that they need to get rid of. Most often times, they're more readily available over the Gen 4's.
