>I bought a primary arms micro dot
>I bought a glock 20
I bought a Mosin in 2011. I don't entirely regret it since I also have like 1500 rounds for it, 300 of which came on stripper clips which you can't get anymore
Just wish the bolt wasn't so stiff. Tried all the tricks, thinking it might be the ammo. Haven't shot it in over a year since its no fun/not very accurate
>300 of which came on stripper clips
Here is your problem.
Those 300 round tins are WWII production. They are hot as fuck. Mine had sticky bolt like no tomorrow when I used the WWII shit. 70's era surplus, steel case tula, and modern production run just fine with no hiccups.
I have 15 rounds of the stuff on clips left. Not going to shoot it because of how bad the bolt sticks.
>and I can't afford to shoot it
You bought a .300blk but don't know the secret to 11cpr reloads?
Step your game up senpai
Neat. What's your experience with them? Anything bad?
Well that makes sense. I actually ordered a crate of 600 (but yes, they come in grey rectangles of 300 a piece). I have about 800-900 rounds of green spamcan stuff that I never really shot, because obviously I went with the stuff pre-loaded on strippers first so I didn't have to load them myself
I'll have to try the two different varieties of spam can stuff I have (silver and non, don't know about the non because I friend repaid me for my ammo that he shot with some of his) and see how it do. I also bought a few boxes of S&B back in the day because the range I went to at the time didnt allow FMJ, but by the time I made it there they did, so I didn't want to waste the .50cpr soft nose bullets on paper when I could be shooting .13cpr bullets
>mfw been here for 7 years
>family is japanese
>anime is cringy as fuck to me
I don't know, I can't enjoy that shit honestly
I bought an SKS.
And a Mosin Nagant.
Like fuck man what pieces of shit. Really I feel retarded for buying into the hype thank god I managed to sell both of them to some poor sap and buy myself a nice waffenwerks AK
Because the pressure.
You see, if you are not working the bolt with the fury of a drunken Slav fighting for his life then it's tough. If you slap the bolt as if your life depends on it then it works just fine.
I'd just gotten out of AIT around then, so alot earlier than that. /b/ was my original home board too. I made that because someone came through on a /r/equest.
Sorry to be a bit of an attention whore, but you made my day. I can't believe I'm seeing this again.
I fucking love you /k/
Once I was at a range where you have to sit at the bench to shoot. They have screens available to place between your bench and the guy next to you if you're blasting brass at him.
Last time I shot my Mosin there the guy next to me asked for one, and the RO made this shitty comment, not to me in particular, it seemed, but just out loud for all to hear: "You should not need a brass screen for a bolt action"
People thought it was, but recent tests show that the gun can't handle a simple drop in a puddle without causing malfunctions. Starts to jam, and also drop tests show that the HK style paddle magazine release shears off (made of plastic). Much lower quality than the USP series, to try to meet a price point to compete with Glocks, etc.
But glocks are better.
An "on campus" apartment
I'm a fucking broke ass college kid >>28498049
I'm looking to get out of my lease and get a place with some friends
No worries dude. Every once and a while I like to rifle through my "old shit" folders and relive those glory days. Man I miss being young
It wasn't a 'drop test' that chipped the release, and function was in no way diminished.
The submersion test was helpful in alerting people to things like an 'open' striker channel, but the truth is every striker channel is exposed to some degree (and inherently less rugged than hammer fired guns)
So far I have gotten a fee mosins, another SKS, a PTR, Glock 19, two Vz-2008's, Balkan furniture for muh m70ab2, PSA AR-15s, PSA AR-10, Mora knife, ecws sleep system, marpat assault/large ruck, 5 Primary Arms optics, Cmp m1 garand, full reloading setup, DSA FAL (Austrian)... Life straw
Been here a few year. Not more than 5 regularly.
I like the ideas and recommendations but won't buy unless I look at reviews because /k/ tends to hype a lot of random shit.
That's not a source. You can make all the claims you want, but with nothing solid to back them up they're meaningless. I'm not a VP9 guy, as I don't like striker fired guns, but I do know they have a good reputation.
Oh and I have a bunch of ar500 targets.
/K/ has found me some good deal desu. Some shit was retarded but oh well. I did make a Tactical 10/22 then a year later said sorry to her and gave her wood if you know what I mean.
Because they are okay Chinksights with the backing of a brotier US Company.
Basically he sells a bunch, they can and do break, and the owner of the company personally offers to send you a new one free or charge. It's fucking cool.
For a sight you need to never have die, ever, Primary Arms ain't it. I see too many die on Arfcom. Never seen an Aimpoint PRO die.
I've never seen an anime where I wasn't thinking "oh wow this is fucking retarded" or "do people actually think this is cool?" or "jesus christ this voice acting my ears" or "how little did they pay the guys to animate this shit"
mangos are occasionally decent because I don't have to hear shit and the art is usually at least well done and there's shit without retarded plot in it.
Also lewd doujins are decent but only because the dialogue is so bad it's hilarious.
>Never seen an Aimpoint PRO die.
This shit is pretty fucking crazy tbqh
Guess there's no way to tell if the original rifle was destroyed.
>I let random people on the internet hype me up about a random gun that performs just fine, but when I bought it, I realized it's just a gun and isn't going to get me laid or move me out of my parents' basement
That was the least retarded animu I've seen in a while even though it was still fucking stupid in its own way
I am now slightly intrigued.
I just want fights and giant robots and not a bunch of stupid plot shit about high schoolers with magical powers or some dumbassery.
Same, there's plenty of tests online that show the Advanced one taking a beating and then some and still holding zero and functioning. And the battery life in unbeatable for the pricepoint. Then again, OP is the kind of retard who lets 4chan influence his purchases.
>paid panic-prices for a meh-tier AK because /k/ said IDS HABBIDING
And it was my first rifle, too. It took me a loooong time to realize I'd been had, and that I'd never recoup what I'd paid. Sure, I loved that Century branded POS with all my naivete, but damn, I don't regret selling it to fund an actually decent rifle purchase.
Jk it was okay, had a good time
It's +$200 now, not worth it anymore.
Dumb and inconvenient
>bought an SKS as my second rifle
>almost bought a vp9, went p320 instead
>bought a CZ 75B and put wood grips on it as soon as I could
>watched Upotte!, girls und panzer, and bought Spice and Wolf blu ray off amazon sight unseen
I wish I could quit you
Well, if the rifle had the dust cover closed and the bolt forward, there's a good chance nothing got into the critical parts. Barrel might be full of shit though, and that'd kill any gun.
>let it burn
>oh im googling
>Oh, is it some sort of pressure button for electronics?
>who the FUCK would want the BHO near the trigger
Wow. Wow. WOOOw. Enjoy accidentally letting BHOing your rifle while firing. Let it burn indeed.
>Hit with baseball bat
>Left for hours in high pressure
>Shot twice with birdshot
Only results; broken glass on the second shot...and it still holds zero.
I really don't see how its any more fragile than an H-1. All you're getting for Aimpoint money is slightly better glass quality.
>I really don't see how its any more fragile than an H-1. All you're getting for Aimpoint money is slightly better glass quality.
I own a microdot and it definately isn't up to the quality of an aimpoint. Primary arms even openly states this. Still, a durable optic
Even though it's a budget optic that offers super features for its pricepoint, it's still a budget optic. It simply isn't up to par with an Aimpoint Micro.
That said, for 99.9% of the people here, it will be more than enough for what their rifles will go through, and it certainly isn't a meme like the dipshit OP implies. You're not going to get a better bang for your buck red dot.
>if you don't have a hadron collider, why bother asking questions about particle physics
Might be a retarded example, but seriously, why does it matter if he asks?
No, he asked the question because he fucking knew.
/k/ is full of faggots nowadays.
This. I dont need my red dot to be able to be dragged behind cars, burned with hot lava, shot at with a .50BMG, be frozen in liquid nitrogen and still hold a zero. I need it to fucking stand some moderate temp changes, a few drops here and there and be waterproof. That's it. And if I can get that for 500 dollars cheaper, I'm going to.
>live in WA
This shit is dark as fuck. My friend turned me towards the light and I will soon be purchasing ATACS FG.
Modern camouflage man, they know what they're doing.
>listened to /k/ommandos that said soaking my gun overnight in vinegar is the best/easiest way to clean
For holding the bolt unloaded at the range and for dropping the bolt on a fresh mag without having to reach fire the ping-pong paddle with you left hand (bigger deal for lefties).
I tried that too. In my area (outside Spanaway) I found that it was too green since a lot of the veg died off. I also tested Tiger Stripe, M81, and CADPAT. All of them were pretty dark too.
I really bought in to all of the shit-talking about modern patterns, but I'm starting to think that it's all bullshit and new camo is just better.
And only then can may you enter the kingdom of heaven.
I grew up in North Bend so there was always tons of dense forest and everything was always wet.
Again, my recommendation would have been MARPAT because its pretty well distributed between brown and green
You dont need it but it is used so that you can just RELEASE the bolt when you pop in a new mag, its primary function is not as a BHO device, to do that you would have to pull on it from the left side. Also the thing you calling is not a BHO, its called a bolt release.
>bought a nugget
>been meming ever since
I like my glock 20
bough a WW ak74 when /k/ was shilling about them a few years back.
it was alright.
that I regret investing in.
read about ARs here, bought an AR - like it
read about AKs here, bought a WASR - like it
read about SKSs here, bought an M59/66 - like to fuck around with the grenade sight and bayonet
read about Mosins here, bought an overpriced Type 53 - like shooting it till bolt starts sticking, then not so much
read about shotguns here, bought a couple - 00 Buck hurts, but like shooting target loads at clay
so yeah - not disappointed in any /k/ recommendations so far
>the battery powering it has a 3 year shelf life, where it will just discharge to air in 3 years and not have enough of a charge to power anything
>when installed in an Aimpoint it will last, powered on, longer than 3 years
Aimpoint somehow manufactured real meme magic and sold it to us
>come to an anime site about Japanese culture
>try and make people hate anime and Japanese culture
Every gun I've ever bought has been from /k/ hype, and I've never been let down.
Better than getting gun ideas from shitty gun magazines.
>Two Lt. Colonels
Fucking POG as fuck just look at the left ones kit. How does he expect to shoulder a rifle?
>Captain in DCUs
Probably navy, a liason maybe.
Those...those are normal, probably given the gun to look cool.
>Iluminati Triangle rank on chest
That's a rank to show he is a civilian so he does get chewed out for being so fucking out if regs.
Probably the only two guns the company has. More than likely MPs
This has nothing to do with sample sizes you child. This isn't a statistical issue, it's a design/engineering problem. If you actually knew anything about the VP9 you'd understand the cause of the problem before even needing to see a video.
Nothing other than ammo availability and the 10mm meme, the caliber is geared towards reloading.
The G20 is simply the most proven 10mm platform there is.
The G21 converts to 10mm, but the G20 won't convert to .45 without a G21 slide - it's of no consequence though because the G21 10mm conversion isn't quite as reliable as a G20
Listen guy, I already know that's a shoop. You can't fool me twice.
>hating things instead of liking them
Once I learned to turn off my brain and just enjoy things made for fun, my life improved.
Some /k/ related anime, like GATE, is fucking shit tho and isn't /k/ related at all.
>I bought a glock 20
only plebs think that
Found the guy that actually bought a VP9
If you watched that canik video it had something like 8 malfunctions after being submerged. Glocks do the same thing when water gets in the striker channel. The regular ppq does the same thing. Only the ppq navy does over the beach firing well, even still a hammer fired gun will do alot better in any of those tests.
I second the nugget thing
They're okay I guess but I spent about $130 on mine and the price has just risen since then.
I'm not really that into WWII weapons or bolt guns though.
Sucks though, /k/ was all about the nugget back when they were $99
And before that /k/ was about the SKS when they were cheap too. What's with the prices these days man?
I second this also jesus fucking christ
I once fell for the whole /ak/ shit too but I've realized how cringey a lot of it really is. Upotte! feels like some try hard ecchi made by faggots who own dakimakuras.
Other than that I havent fallen for any /k/ memes because I know most of you are WWII-aboos who only own bolt guns and pretend to be nazis.
HURR LOOK AT ME IM USING 10MM
I'M SO FUCKING MANLY N TUFF OH MAN
IT'S NOT THAT I HAVE A SMALL PENIS OR SUCK DICK AT SHOOTING, DUDE CHECK OUT THOSE MASSIVE WOUND VECTORS
HEY DID YOU GET THAT PICTURE OF MY NEW FORD F650 I SENT YA?
IMAGINE AN AR15 IN 10MM YEAH THAT WOULD FUCKING ROCK
DEFINATELY STONGER THAN A RIFLE CALIBER LIKE 5.56 IM SO MANLY
look up VZ 95, its what I'm getting and i frequent the evergreen forests of the eastern side and the cascades when Im lucky
You would fit in better in the youtube comments section.
I don't think .300blk is boutique, anymore.
Of all the alternative AR15 rounds, I would consider it the most successful. IIRC, it can be reloaded with shot .223/5.56 brass, and requires the little fooling around to get your old AR spitting it. Heard it can use STANAG mags with no adjustment either, but I'd like someone who owns it to confirm. I'm very loopy on prescribed drugs atm, so don't quote me. Honestly, weed is less debilitating and more effective than this shit they got me on, wtf is up with that.
Obviously a $600 optic will perform better in numerous metrics as opposed to a $90 red dot. At least, I'd sure as shit hope so, however; not everyone needs or wants an Aimpoint. Some people want a simple and functional red dot that can reliably hold zero for as little cost as possible. Primary Arms fills that hole nicely.
Personally, that's fine by me. As I said, mine still works great, but if it breaks and I'm without it for a week or two while it gets fixed. I'm not gonna complain, especially given how much I spent on it.
I want a good optic that I can see my flip irons out of too. I don't want to pay a gorrilion dollars.
Alternatively, I want a good optic that I can take off quickly if it gets fugged, but don't have to worry about coming off accidentally.
Damn that blonde has a nice ass but you know she's going home with that razor wire tatted up bro-hulk.
>aimpoint or micro
>not a gorrilion dollars
That's because it is cringy as fuck, 90% of the time. To enjoy watching it you must either be an autist, or try so incredibly hard to avoid conversations and anything related to it when not actually watching it, like me an most people on here who watch anime and don't go on /a/.
I mean, there are non cringy anime which aren't shitty pieces of moe moe garbage for autists, but its rare these days.
