>Sully's new store
>Other things that happened
Posting stuff from my recent haul.
I'm loving this set.
Oh jesus, it beings.
Post your closets, my shittily organized one right now, minus my bong jumper and fleck parka
This rack is now disassembled, all of these are in a container. My other 2 are still up, but I don't have pics of them yet.
As you can see, I didn't shitpost a thread this time.
I still am waiting to find Kürbistarn in my size.
Part 3, rape closet
I like the look of the new place. Any idea on far prices for a M81 or Choco patrol cap in 7.5?
Also... Gorka guy.. Here's Berezka in the fall.
I saw some badged ones on ebay, mine doesn't have any but I lucked out on size, it's just a tad on the smaller size.
Naw, the rack was heavily leaning and starting to break.
I've got a bosnian woodland tiger stripe coat, but I'm trying to sell it now since I'm cleaning house.
not original anon, but why not milsurp stores, do they charge too much?
Since last thread 404'd after my post, I'll post it again
Stil waiting my BARS Gorka 3 to arrive, then I'll be set.
pic related. M90, M05 ripstop with non issue cut, anglija with jagel camo and pervotrop snowsuit,.
Not everyone has a shop nearby. But I've found shit for both real cheap and absurdbly expensive for the condition at local shops, like a blood-stained and holey m65 for $50.
>>28490837 This too, I'm lucky the two shops near me do honestly have some good shit.
Poor Aus fag collection.
dpnu, tri colour desert, dpcu.
Also I have EDRL set cant find it sadly.
Waiting on Multicam and choc ship jackets
Fuck sakes I need to get some M05
In other words, NEW SHIT
Also I have a australian navy Woolen jumper Though I cant wear it too small.... thinking of selling it
3 to the left is Noodle
4 to the left is Puzzle
Most milsurp stores aren't like mine. Like >>28490837 said most have Chinese reproductions and don't care about their product.
I have piles of it.
Currently black powder and antiques. When the license comes through I'll carry whatever I can. I live in probably the fuddiest part of PA, so I'll carry lever guns and turkey shotguns. No worries though there will be plenty of milsurp.
Neat. That's something I've considered dabbling in just for shits n' giggles.
>plenty of milsurp
Even better! If you have anything I'd like you can bet I'll be buying from you.
I'd settle for $50 flat, shipping I can pay myself if it will help get it sold. Originally ran me closer to $70Shipping from northern ontario. I do mention on /trade/ that there are some residue strips on the inside like there was another liner, but it came used so I don't know if you can get that off with solvent.
It's Pakistani something or another lol
Also yes that other one is indian fern
Looks to be the same quality as the Pakistani.
The pattern itself isn't bad but the smock was made in a child sweatshop.
The only thing of quality I'v seen from India is the ttsko smock, and it's shitty walmart bargin bin tier at best.
I do want one of their janky looking kevlar helmets though.
Just received my Israeli jacket today, payed 15 bucks. How'd I do /k/?
Their headwear game is a mess.
Turbans, berets, steel helmets, the weird ushanka shaped helmets, surplus K-pots, kepis, caps, or just nothing.
Look at this fucking side plate
They weren't lying about the 2-4 days.
Spied it in a pile when I was at GBFmilitarias open day. It's highly unusual, finns on /int/ are fairly sure someone made it. Not like naything they were issued.
Yeah, he had a load of unsorted boxes.
I'd have to look, my only DPM item is that LEGALLY ACQUIRED smock.
Only the s95 trousers or Müll-tec clones
Life is pain.
Tfw I hunger for milsurp but I have no good resources or just have reproduction gear.
Serbian/Yugo/Croat/Bosniak M59/85, Hungarian M40, Britbong MkIV and V, Soviet SSh-40/60/68, French M51, East German M56. I have a Serbian M59 and a brit MkIV and both are great. As for shipping, it just depends on the seller. Almost all online vendors will have a shipping cost, but on ebay it just depends on the individual vendor. Alternatively, you could just go to a local shop and see if they have a steel helm.
The bullet-proof patka (Sikh head-dressing) helmets, provide comprehensive head protection. The patka helmets provide protection against fragmentation munitions and low velocity bullets. The bullet-proof patka helmets have been exclusively designed for the Indian Army, paramilitary forces and various state police departments. They hava a ballistic strip manufactured from a high-density, die-pressed phantom steel. Cushioning material is used in the inner lining of the patka helmets for additional comfort.
The patka helmets have a distinct advantage over standard bullet-proof helmets. Stadard bullet-proof helmets provide protection against 9mm weapons, whereas our patka helmets give protection against AK-47 to the forehead and rest of the head area.
So how about a link to this site?
Nah, Eesti guy got it for next to nothing so i bought it off him. Hence the estonia patch and neck scarf.
I'm surprised nobody else bid on these
*Not my listing*
Oooh that's nice
I was looking at their ebay, where are they getting all the Lux M05?
He said there was a pile of it at a Belgium show he went to, and he bought the lot.
Hey just want to throw this out there, don't have the money for it, but it seems like a good deal.
>not my listing
Maybe I should invest in at least a coat.
I think it;s just his listing stuff that's sporadic I find following his facebook page easier then his site.
>tfw you'll never own a bizarre "ringmaster suit" from the 1990s
More like flippin' insane.
The newly re-established Estonian police wanted to look as far removed from the dreaded Soviet militsiya as possible, leading them to adopt blue Ike jackets and eight-point caps (pic related).
Those over-the-top red and gold outfits clearly contradict the desire to seem more Western, conjuring up images of pompous commie generals and tinpot dictators instead.
Unsurprisingly, they were quickly deemed ridiculous and shit-canned, making them extremely rare.
I've only seen one at a museum.
I think they're what hotel staff wear.
Smuggle me flares.
I agree with Varusteleka in that the US police caps are the best
US police hats are based, especially here in LA
Please, Brit police hats are where it's at.
I retextured the helmet, looks better so far
Oh I was restoring this danish model M1 helmet. Heres my first attempt at it, i meant to add that in
who gorka here?
it's a light weight inflatable back pack
Im good with boot care, what exactly needs to be restored in those?
Australian Navy officer Hat I got from my grand father a couple years ago.
Also anyone know of a place I could get flecktarn for cheap in australia?
The leather is still a little taught in the body and toe. May simply need to be recobbled. But I guess 30 years of poor storage will take its tool
All I need to complete helmet along with chinstraps, it will hopefully arrive tomorrow. M1 helmets is where I focus my milsurp autism on ,':^)
Rather hard.. And splitting in some areas. The heels are worn down too.
I know where to find some "old style" full soles. i bought form this guy before and hes really great. You need a full sole so heres my suggestion. message him your boot size and he will have the best size for it. On my old cocorans that broke, they were size 111 so he suggested a size 14 of hsi half sole/heels and they fit great heres the link below
I AM NOT ADVERTISING THIS IS NOT MY SITE
n-no i got this
Debating on buying this http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Waterproof-Rain-Suit-Rainproof-Hooded-Combat-Fishing-Set-Flecktarn-Camo-S-Xxl-/301706371485?var=&hash=item463f19e19d:m:myE6wY5EzPFPGqWkTszfVRA (Not Mine)
Ay gorka here. Package arrived today from Russia.
If you mean for swedish landscape, I'd recommend:
>Russian SS-leto and m05 copy Jagel/yeger/yegel and Berezhka
Holy shit, the Waffen-SS pea dot pattern lives!
Got my Ukrainian cap today.
I expected a cheap piece of crap, but it's surprisingly well-made.
Yeah, ranger or whatever it;s called.
That's the one. if you want SS look at those reversible partizan suits.
That pattern can be found on gorkas as well.
What's the purpose of a boonie anyway. I would have thought in a combat zone it;d be helmets all day every day.
Standard Estonian camo, but fashioned into a special garment that has little in common with regular issue kit.
Unlike regular grunts who have to put up with bulky Soviet-derived clothing, SOF guys wear top-shelf stuff from Sohni Tactical.
They enable you to LARP as a Strayan, I guess.
I get that you need something to wear around a base or whatever, but there are a ton of pictures of soldiers wearing soft headwear on patrol.
Dat sweet desert TAZ 90...
Yep. He's a bit slow off the mark. One guy and his unit is a little disorganized.
thought this would be a good time to ask is this worth it (relatively cold where I live)
With no liner, the standard parka is not very good imo. It does a decent job at breaking the wind, but it doesn't keep warm at all. With a fleece sweater underneath it's ok, but it's still inferior to a poly jacket. It's best use is Autumn/Spring (~5-10 degrees Celsius and above).
That's just how the postal service works. It was a great idea to put it in the bag, there was a gaping hole in one of the corners.
God damn it this thing is gorgeous. I haven't been this excited about a package since my TAZ 90.
What's the story behind the stamp, again?
Britannia: Highest grade silver used historically in the UK
958: Purity of said silver out of 1000.
I seem to have really lucked out on the size!
To anyone on the fence, get this. It's amazingly made and fits me (5' 10", 40" chest") perfectly with room for a cotton shirt and the Flecktarn liner underneath for heat. I know it's expensive, but holy hell is it worth it.
Some cunning merchant trick?
Nah i know you're good for it. That desperate huh?
I know that feel...
No, let it continue. Let it grow into something majestic.
The beast revealed his face.
Ik my bank doubled some of my money by giving it to me in cash and putting it in my account. Thanks new girl working at CIBC I payed debts and bought squad :^).
I've got about 3 checks to turn in sometime, still on call but not working nearly as much.
Incoming dump, I've finished off rack #2. Just one more after this.
I'm excited about getting the trousers for this.
It's not like you're stopping me selling one, I have about four left.
It;s funny actually, making them was fun, selling them isn't. All I see when i look at them is the mistakes. I suppose this is why actors don;t like to watch themselves.
Taking pics of hanging flight suits sucks.
Barely visible near the hanger, on the back of these are two snap loops, almost like the hangers for bayonets, except sideways. Don't know their purpose.
Czechin' my own double trips.
Koyama is Japanese for "mound" or "hill"
>The More You Know
Forgot, the name of that one is "Takeshi"
Well.. Schooling breeds poverty.
Looking into getting a better-paying job.
I like Kiwi DPM, works well for the two times a year it rains here.
Avoid poverty, skip school.
This one reminds me of the pattern on Avatar.
Slightly upset they didn't make repros of that pattern, it was kinda cool.
Hoping to be the first to -finish- it.
Family run business is hell , need degree to escape the bullshit.
This one has a funky hide-away hood that makes the collar big and puffy. Unfortunately when I got it it was already missing the other rank slide.
The problem with mine is tons of people want in because of the benefits, so it's hard to stay on.
These two patches were in the chest pocket
I can link another one of these coats to anyone interested, it doesn't have the flag or collar velcro.
I still don't know what benefits are like to have in the business sense.
Sucks I guess.
In better news, I'm digging the pics you're finally taking of your stuff. Much better than the sellers' pics.
Still need a good way to photo helmets, I can't find many things to use as a stand that doesn't look silly.
Anyone have experience with that?
The smallest waist size there is 32 inches, but I have like a 27 ish waist. Can you tighter it up that much and it still be comfortable?
How long are the legs on them?
Because I'm also 6ft tall, just a small framed skeletonman.
What size jacket should I get? I wear medium t shirts, but i hear the sleeves are really short on those parkas, but I'm afraid a large or extra large would be too big.
And that does it for rack #2.
Well they are intended to be worn over the wool uniform, so it's oversized.
The sleeves on mine are longer than the length of the coat itself, I think you'll be OK on that.
The trousers are slightly shorter as you're supposed to wear boots and gaiters with them.
Works well with those long boots I favour.
You guys are all wrong obviously it is
Uniform m/1939 with a Carl Gustaf m/38
Damn, I didn't realize how much Spanish stuff you had. This new camera of yours is awesome.
Alpenflage is awesome. That deal is really awesome.
Y'all know any tight-fitting milsurp trousers (preferably in a solid colour)?
I want bitches to really notice my cock bulge.
>That deal is really awesome.
Yeah, that's why I want to make sure it fits well, I want a nice jacket to wear other than my fleck parka.
And having some camo pants would be fun.
Any recommendations for boots? Would be nice to have some nice warm boots. I'm really lacking on winter boots.
Also any good pant liners, gloves or hats?
I'm one of those people that likes goretex boots. But I have perpetually cold feet. I think everyone is different when it comes to boots, I mean are you in the town or country?
I love my two pairs of dubarries though. imagine a pair of wellies (completely waterproof) but ten times lighter.
I'm going to visit family in Germany late this summer. Is there any milsurp that's either easier to get there, cheaper to get there, or can be gotten there but not here? Do I have better odds of getting my hands on some M05?
>are you in the town or country
Does that change things? I thought boots were boots.
I would like them mostly for like walking outside in the cold n shit.
Doin well innawoods is better than doin well innatown though.
I imagine the only easy place to find it is Finland, but have a look.
It doesn't change things for me no, good point. Some more urban thinking boots have cushioned soles though.
Never understood how it was supposed to be comfortable with them. Long boots seems like a much better choice.
Camocorps? Or whatever he changed his name to.
Yeah, you'd be surprised how little Spanish sellers list them for. I got the desert set for $28.
I just wear my Czech M60's like UPC >>28502008 but unless you're all about restoring ancient boots then I wouldn't recommend them.
You can find surplus US ECW "Mickey" boots on ebay and lots of surplus sites.
For pant liners, get the German ones.
Do they have like a waist cinch cord or something? Can I make the thing fit my tiny fuckin waist well enough? Do the larger waisted models have longer legs or are they the same between them?
Not like that, no. 2 camo is too much camo.
The only time i double camo is if I'm back in the fells and valleys.
No, there are no belt loops, there is a 3 snap waistband that you could use.
There are variations in length, but you'd have to ask the seller if they could send one with a specific inseam.
The pants have adjustable suspenders and the button has multiple snaps for different waist sizes. The ankles have elastic so if they are a little long it isn't a big deal.
I'm more worried about the pants being too short, but having suspenders really eases my concerns about the waist not fitting right, because does it really matter as long as your shit don't fall down? Being a tall skinny guy is suffering.
How is the insulation value on the pants? Should I get some liners for in cold weather?
Any recommendation on the size for the parka?
Anyone want to buy a size 56 polizei jacket?
The pants are pretty good heat wise. The sturdy canvas is good for the wind, wear some longjohns under them for more heat if you need it.
For the parka just get what size you wear in normal clothes, one size bigger if you want.
Shit, you're probably right. Regardless it has waist cinchers.
The adjustible straps and buttons are nice. But the suspenders are built-in to.. So I hardly see anybody's waist being too much an issue. Unless they hate layering, belts, and straps for any reason
