But i think the m57 parts are diffrent enough to not allow that to work, if you dont do rapid fire it wont hurt to try it
The worst that will happen is fte or some other jam.
Just make sure before you pull the trigger the bullet is fully seated in the barrel.
Do it with 1 round to start in mag

Im doing my research tonight before purchasing. Im actually considering the TTC instead because the M57 isnt capable of accepting any of the aftermarket shit for the TTC and TT33.

M57 mags hold an extra round in the7.62 configuration, not sure with 9mm

It'll work with everything but the mags; M57 grip frame is longer and so are mags, so regular TT mags aren't long enough to lock in. You can load 9x19 in 7.62x25 mags; just make sure each round is seated at the front of the magazine rather than the back.

Y'know they make a 9mm version of the M57, right? The M70A.

Its not that I want a new production M57 in 9mm, I just was wondering if any tokarev owners think it would work.

Im probably getting the TTC anyways, for the price difference on JG Sales I can get have 3 mags instead of 2.

JG Sales has the TTC at $220 and the M57 at $250 - If anyone knows of one lower please let me know.

M88A and Norinco 213 owner here

the 213 takes standard TT-33 mags, however there is a spacer in the mag, the follower has been modified and the spring is different, capacity is 8 rounds

the M88A had a spacer in frame and the mags aren't as wide, mags are 8 rounds

in an effort to find more mags, the M70A mags will fit and work with the M88A, 9 rounds capacity.

TTC mags are 8 rounds, so either of the Zastava mags will work

It doesn't exist, sadly. It's a prop from the movie Kingsman. In-canon, it was 12ga, I think, but that'd be a bit much. Maybe 20ga would be fine. I read they were pretty much functional, too.

Not much of a Tok aftermarket, either. There's those compensators, the Marschel grips, and either a laser or laser-light combo by Ramlite. Holsters are provided by few companies. I'll make a thread on the Falco one I ordered, though it won't be leaving the factory till February.

Since I already bought a dozen m70a mags before I got the 213, I didn't see the logic in buying a bunch of tok mags for $20-30 each, then have to find a spacer and modify the spring and follower

instead I made a spacer for the Norinco to use the slimmer mags (shiny silver part)

If I wanted the 213 to shoot 7.62x25 all i'd really need are standard tok mags and a barrel

Tok thread i guess? Just bought mine last weekend, numbers match, 1953 Romanian TTC. $225 for the gun, original holster with the cleaning rod, two mags and four boxes of ammo.

Do they make extended mags for this thing? Haven't been able to find any so I assume not but I thought I'd ask here anyway.

I've been eyballin' a M70a as my first 9mm pistol to see how I like the round. Though I'm pretty sure I'm going to have to round up one of those wraparound grips before I make my decision as to if it is what I am looking for in a 9mm pistol.

Anyone know what Zastava means when they say the M70AA has an external safety? Apparently that's the difference between it and there M70A, but the M70A has a pretty obvious slide safety. Also, does anyone have experience with the Marschal Zebrawood grips?

I think that is the AA. But Zastava has multiple guns under the "M70" designation, like an AK clone. As far as I know, the M70A is the basic 9mm version, and the M70AA has the safety. HOWEVER, U.S. import restrictions demand a safety, so the new ones are made with one from the factory. I believe you can purchase one with or without the external safety in Canada, but only the safety version in the States. Personally, I prefer the safety. I know I should be able to, but I can't bring myself to trust the half-cock for CC.

i have done almost exactly this except with a Romanian ttc.
i only replaced the barrel and barrel bushing. (i did not change out the recoil spring )
it will cycle ok with normal 9mm but will sometimes short stroke with cheap fmj stuff.

i always edc carried mine with 9mm +p ammo in it. With the +p stuff it ran just fine

no issues with feeding , cycling, extracting or anything like that if that is what you are asking.

like i said, the only issue was that the 7.62x 25 recoil spring is a little stiff for regular pressure 9mm Luger
