Post pictures/videos/news related to the conflict in Ukraine.
>inb4 massive flamewar over which group of drunken Slavs is better (PROTIP: they're both shit).
Ukraine belongs to Russia and Poland, it's basically a non-country. The only reason it exists in its current size and shape is because of Soviet expansionism.
I wish the Russians would just finish up in Syria and deliver the coup de grace to Eastern Ukraine.
They're not even NATO just do it Putin pls
Azov should really camo up their tanks like this
Slavs LARPing as Nazis kind of puts me off.
Slavs LARPing as the USSR is way worse. The Soviet Union is dead.
>Novorussia is a fantasy at this point
Why? I'm not RIDF but I don't see why the Russians couldn't just steamroll through Luhansk and Donetsk, seeing as they have territory on two sides, and effective control over the Black Sea.
Is it fear of further sanctions?
Aye. The USSR was a fuckup anyway. Strelkov is a monarchist, and Dugin is anticommunist (the man who was perhaps most enthusiastic about the whole affair).
The Russians are not going to send in their military overtly. They may support the rebels with manpower and small arms, but Putin does not want that money sink. The current Novorussian holdings can't sustain themselves and they have no resources to exploit. The long this conflict goes, the worse off the "invader" is.
>The current Novorussian holdings can't sustain themselves and they have no resources to exploit
I thought they were the main coal mining area within Ukraine, and had a lot of heavy industry that was still mostly intact?
The rebels do however have coal mines. They even sell coal to Ukraine and did so even during the conflicts.
And the russians already took what they needed from ukraine anyway and the rebellion that will stay frozen for as long as they want is a guarantee that Ukraine isnt going to join NATO, or even EU.
Many people conveniently forget what went on in Syria before the Sochi Olympics, with NATO wanting to bomb the shit out of Assad and all regime forces to liberate Syria and give it democracy with brave freedom fighters in charge.
Everyone forgot who stopped that.
Also, everyone forgot when did ISIS actually start to rampage across the sand dunes.
I'm not Russia you drooling moron.
You want Koenigsburg back, you're gonna have to revive Prussia and rollback WW2. Good luck.
IS SURE SHIT IN OLD COUNTRY NOW
GOOD THING GREAT GRANDDAD TERYNIAK GET US OUT, HE SEE THINGS GOING BAD
ALL THE WAY BACK IN 1913
IS FUNNY JOKE BECAUSE OLD COUNTRY WAS ALWAYS SHIT
no seriously my great grandfather was discharged from the Austro-Hungarian army in 1913 and immigrated like right before ShitFest I started
Most of the industry was ruined before the conflict, and many existing buildings and structures were heavily damaged during the conflict.
The conflict has gone bad for Russian PR. Most westerners support Ukraine in the conflict and forgot Syria in the process.
>Is it fear of further sanctions?
Umm, maybe they're just not into open conquest a la WW2 style..
You can wage war economically now and get the same results.
Most westerners are utterly lost in the confusion since it turns out we tried to topple Assad and fundes ISIS but also helped Assad and bombed ISIS. America has been waging FOUR proxy wars against itself for two years, it's utter insanity.
The US generals seem to keep some common sense at least.
Communism was never mentioned in that post. Lay off the Desomorphine, Ivan.
Yes and Russia could have come out on top in the US if they would have left Ukraine alone. They were never at risk for losing the port in Crimea. Putin has a higher approval ratting in the US than Obama. They should have left that waste of resources.
They couldn't take the risk of losing Ukraine to the west though.
From the Russian perspective the west funded the coup that ousted the pro-Russian regime (as has happened in Syria, Libya etc.) and forced a response.
Russia has already lost the Warsaw pact and knows feels betrayed by NATO (Bill Clinton implied there would be no NATO expansion into the former Warsaw Pact).
With Ukraine in the western sphere of influence Russia would have no strategic depth - NATO forces in the country would easily advance across the Northern European Plain straight into Moscow should war occur.
Hence Russia has taken steps to defend itself.
Monolith members come from all the factions. And i could easily see Freedom wearing multicam.
Apparently our boy Motorola is fighting with Assad in Syria now? I cant confirm this but I found this video.
I'm not really surprised he's a brilliant anti-tank platoon leader
Anyone know if that is UCP or is it some Russian knock off of it?
>Russia belongs to the Mongols, Polish, Lithuanians, Swedish and whoever the fuck else pleased to invade that area, it's basically a non-country.
>America belongs to the native tribes it's basically a non-country
>Every country in Europe belongs to Italy because Roman Empire.
>he's a brilliant anti-tank platoon leader
What's his record?
Sigh... This girl may be Italian, Israeli, Middle Eastern, Ukrainian, all in all, but she's sure not Russian. Here's how those look like:
According to the Ukrainian after action report at battle of Donetsk Airport; they lost 35 T-72, 43 BMPs and "multiple" (?) Trucks and Personnel vehicles. According to the DPR Motorola and his platoon knock out 25 T-72s and 13 BMPs
Thanks t.b.h. m8 wanted a higher quality version of that
since when showing war crimes is trolling?
where can I get my money?
why the ukrainian government has ruined the life of this boy
The green men weren't really a threat. Basically they were treated almost like National Guard. Also they're guns weren't real actually. They were de-activated mid 70s/early 80s AK-74 that have had plastic furniture thrown on them
If they would have shot them a fury unbeknownst to mankind would depend upon them in the for of the VDV. However there was no point in even trying things were so shit in Ukraine during the revolt that the Ukrainian Govt didn't give a fuck
This is the best and well sourced "proofs" I could provide its pretty tin foil but it makes sense. If I had to go and perform peacekeeping operations with a bunch of Tigger happy vopniks I would give them de-activated Aks
So they gave the soldiers in Crimea fake rifles? What if some Ukranian soldier fired on them? Why would they have a cache of deactivated rifles just lying around in Crimea.
I don't get it.
Except polling taken place prior to everything showed that Ukraine was more than 2/3s opposed to joining the EU or NATO. The original protests weren't even about joining the EU, but about the government reneging on an EU Association Agreement - Russia has one of those by the way. The protests weren't even growing until Yanukovych decided to go full heavy-hand with the response. This entire thing has its basis in anti-Russian sentiment stemming back a few years over gas payments and Sevastopol but most people didn't care too much. Then the crackdown happened everyone starting remembering they got a raw deal on the Russian Navy base lease and noticing that Yanukovych was doing all but giving Putin a bj and realizing, "Holy shit, Ukraine sucks and we probably should do something about it." All Russia managed to do was lose Ukraine to the West and create a beneficial but unstable political arrangement as it hinges entirely on Ukraine either continuing being incompetent, not exactly a terrible assumption considering its track record, or Ukraine not cutting its losses with Crimea or the East.
tl;dr: Everything would have come up Russia if the people involved showed some restraint and nuance in their responses but that's a little much to ask from a part of the world where the proper response to some guy calling you a faggot is to fuck him in the ass to prove you're not gay.
>why the ukrainian government has ruined the life of this boy
Because the novorussian pussies were shooting mortars from densely populated civilian areas (just like pussies in Palestine do) and caused return fire, no?
Better question to ask would be - who started this fucking war in the first place?
the war began when the ukr gov started mass killing of civilians
Why wouldn't the Russians just not give their soldiers ammo so that noon could actually fire instead of using deactivated rifles?
And doesn't make sense that russsia would just give their soldiers old weapons due to lack of money? I mean some of the green men had AKMs and shit.
>"I was the one who pulled the trigger of this war," Strelkov said in an interview published Thursday with Russia's Zavtra newspaper, which espouses imperialist views.
>"If our unit hadn't crossed the border, everything would have fizzled out — like in [the Ukrainian city of] Kharkiv, like in Odessa," Strelkov, who uses that nom-de-guerre meaning "Shooter" to replace his last name Girkin, was quoted as saying.
They didn't have a cache in Crimea they had real rifles there just in case but, they had de-activated ones for standing around and "guarding" stuff. It was more of a ceremonial type thing.
honestly my biggest beef is that they wanna keep growing their armed forces (they took more Leopard's out of storage) when they can't afford or have the ability to maintain them.
Honestly i'd be perfectly content if they reduced the size of the armed forces but actually had a functional armed forces. Fuck having 100 fighters if you can only operate fifty of them.
Hell, if they wanna retain a larger size, they can just increase the size of reserves and reduce the main force, that way they still maintain a "large" defensive force without sacrificing too much force projection.
>you will never fight illegitimate government soldiers with your qt3.14 gf.
>mfw I go and find out pictures like that are all propaganda and it's 99% drunk young men that don't speak English
>The protests weren't even growing until Yanukovych decided to go full heavy-hand with the response
Every single time. Same thing with the arab spring. Tiny ass token protestors who are just happy to get their voice heard that could've easily been ignored get their shit stomped and then the government is surprised when the protests grow because surprise, surprise, turns out citizens don't appreciate being brutally repressed for voicing their opinions. Then the protests reach critical mass and everyone get very stupid. So avoidable. So inevitable.
I struggle to believe that. You are literally setting up your soldiers to get killed or captured. In fact you make the latter extremely likely and considering the clandestine nature of their actions that would be disastrous.
A lot of European militaries have that issue where on the hand they're doing their best to be effective while on the other hand there's politicians who keep flip flopping between what kind of army they want or whether they want a military at all.
Spineless politicians are gonna be the death of us all.
Where there is a will, there is a way.
>tfw remember watching the beginning of the klank
>now this has happened
>implying I wouldn't gladly take it on the chin
>implying I'm not heading to Syria for a Kurdish waifu anyway
what this boy did to ukr gov and army to deserve death?
you're conveniently forgetting the civil unrest all over ukraine during and right after the maidan. the odessa massacre. etc....
OMG RUSSIA STARTED IT! sure it did, if you're a mongoloid lying hohol who supported the overthrow of an elected leader and SHAT all over the opinion of the majority of the voting electorate...
if you seriously think Russia started this, you live in a fantasy world.
No I meant once the administration is replaced. I was perhaps unclear about that. Everyone knows what to do when they're trying to oust the government, but once ousted only retardation ends up filling the void and the sense of community fractures without its shared, unifying enemy.
Fuck off, troll. This boy was killed by a nutcase in Crimea in 2010. http://www.stopfake.org/en/russia-s-top-lies-about-ukraine-part-1/
and what did the ukrops do right after their civil igniting revolution? oh that's right, elected an oligarch that acquired his wealth through corruption and mafia style privatization! and who was best friends with some of the most corrupt politicians Ukraine has ever knew... Mostly Timoshenko.
Hell, Porosenko was actually a minister under the Yanukovich...
god damn, the hohols are stupid...
WE YUROP NOW
only the nationalist leftovers of hohlostan voted, of course they elected another incompetent thief...
enjoy your decay ukrops. I honestly hope you get your visa free deal with europe so you can gtfo and leave the shithole that is your nation.. it's a rotting carcass with nothing of value...
>mongoloid lying hohol
Mwa-ha-ha-ha-ha :D I thought Russia's territory produced mongoloid looking types, not Ukraine?
maximum deflection when faced with truth...
MAXIMUM damage control...
Looks like the troll invasion started... Oh, look, it's 6:30, start of working day in Olgino :)
Time for sane folks to bail out, the conversation will get drowned starting just about now.
haha when faced with truth, you bail...
bye now, enjoy your fantasy world...
so in ukraine it is ok to kill for liking someone
what an awful abomination of a country
btw, for liking whom this woman and her child got killed?
land of the free, home of the fat.
why does it matter?
Trolls, indeed. Personal insults, racial slurs, hate, moaning about the innocent victims -
and every rebuttal of such a post is left unanswered.
I'm out, too.
I didn't post the fake stuff. I posted a picture about current administration being as corrupt and thieving as the previous one... and one before that and so on.
but yes, go ahead and run away.
mistakes happen sometimes
it doesn't change the fact that urinian govt is responsible for horrible crimes against it's own people
few more victims of ukrainian regime
>"wh-who cares about the past, ukraine, when russia starved and slaughtered your people and replaced them with russians to make your country and people submit to the soviet union??"
>"look at all these gorey pictures, this doesn't happen in war!!! :(((("
what goes around comes around faggots
>This thread is dumb im leaving
>HA I HAVE BEATEN THEIR ARGUMENTS
>when russia starved and slaughtered your people
you probably talk about so-called "holodomor" when millions of people died of starvation?
that event only proves how incompetent ukrainians are. that's incredible how they managed to failed food supply to people so bad. truth be told ukrainian government always was shit (pic related)
>replaced them with russians
that makes no sense since all slavs are the same and came out from one community
HOLOHOLS ON THE LOOSE! HIDE YOUR SWINE!!!!
If my memory is right she was standing in a park only a few meters from the entrance from a separatist controlled police station and road block.
The Russian propaganda machine and media vilified the pilot.
>slavs are all them same
>holodomor was caused by a ukrainian government
i actually fought with the persh, it was the worst fucking thing ever, let me tell you a story
> doing transport of other supplies to other fob out in desert
> midway as we stop at some shit village the dude driving the transport truck with water and shit just stops and hops out
> he pulls out a cigarette and a lighter
> his buddy hops out, then the guys in our shitty truck hop out to and everyone just starts smoking
> some crazy ex marine I met talks to me
> "dont say anything"
> anyway after about 30 mins of everyone shooting shit we continue the transport and that was that
Joining them was an alright time, my only regret was my gear got kept by them because turns out you can't take weapons and shit with you on the airport
yanukovich didn't kill enough nationalists.
the new government is doing a much better job at killing its own people than the previous, "tyrant" government ever dreamed off... fully approved by amerifat masters...
also, no nazis in Ukraine. only russian propaganda..
time passes, Ukrainian nationalists don't change, still flying their nazi flags high and proud!
just look what ukrainian nazis/army did to this man.
is it possible to happen in a civilized country?
What's hohol? Who's that chick? Google says "batman jokes dirty", wtf?
What kind of ERA is on that tank?
>inb4 massive flamewar
There was going to be one regardless
On that note, has there been any significant recent activity? I haven't kept up on the conflict in months
Good times. Then the shills moved in and we can't have threads about this shit anymore without one side being obnoxious as all fucking hell.
the internal look like this
or maybe i am wrong and Nozh and Knozh aren't the same thing
Not a Bulat it's a T-64BV1. Not a lot were made but considering how much combat they have seen and their lack of losses they are the most successful tank models Ukraine has.
isn't BV1 the one use Kontakt 1
BM2 use Kontakt5
and BM Bulat, the same as the >>28455946 have newer Nozh reactive armor?
and i have seen many of them were destroy in the airport and by Grad
Seriously, I'm impressed as fuck Lukashenko has been able to stay in office for so long and maintain national stability.
They are already training with them. Airvborn units get them first. From what I have seen, they are extremely fast. They don't have that much ERA but they have enough I guess. There were also only about 8 or 10 in the first batch.
The T-64BM Bulat has the Kontact5. The BV1 uses some kind of special brick ERA but it's similar to K5 but sill very different.
They plan on refurbishing and some what modernizing a shit ton of them. They have burnt through most of their piles of T-64s now they are working on the piles of old T-72s and T-80s.
Didn't know they did. Where did you hear about that?
I may remember hearing something about that from the Russian media but it turned out the tanks were going to Iraq instead.
>Where did you hear about that?
Gorkas are slavnological breakthrough in the art and science of both mall ninja tacticoolery, and track suit science, theory, engineering and design.
never mock the comfyness of the tracksuit.
There was no way they could have won at Debaltseve. They were in a pocket, not to mention Russia had sent huge amounts of Artillery and tanks (T-72B1, B3s and even a handful of T-90s)
yes i said it
I miss that place.
Although all the shit posting and shills from the Ukraine happenings got the site shut down.
surprisingly Ukraine still has a lot of fighter aircraft and transports. Unfortunately, their ground attack aircraft got almost decimated.
>CCCP invades the far more ecnomically successful ukraine and strips them of their agriculture and resources for a war they wanted no part in, and successfully starve to death 20 percent of their populous.
>Hahaha, stupid ukrainians, it was their fault!
Yeah you should probably kill yourself you putinophile freak.
You going to shit post pictures of Syrian children too?
It's a fucking shame since that site had regular updates on most things happening in the world. It was my primary source of military photos (I know have to use militaryporn on reddit, at least there's new content). What I liked about MP was that it offered location, time, and day a lot of the time and this is what my Ukraine folder looks like. Unfortunately most of the pictures are from before the site went down, I've got nothing recent.
Awesome thread. Comfiest conflict ever.
The conflict is really interesting. Especially if you know what you are talking about and can cut through all the bullshit.
There aren't really any more forums that actually take a neutral stance on the issue. There are a few Ukrainian shill threads but the vast majority of the ones out there are complacently over run by vodka trolls or shit posters.
TheMess is a shadow of what MP used to be. The Ukraine thread on there is shit now as well. I miss the old days.
the girl curses the guy who's against the ukr nazis.
she tells that the national guard will come soon and take care of those who rejects nationalism
Same. There's a lot happening here and some very interesting battles, tactics, and weaponry. However the shitposting is off the fucking charts. I remember the old Ukraine threads we used to have with maps, battle updates, and general information that were very good. Now we have garbage threads like this.
Dude, no one is paying attention if you haven't noticed. I understand what you're trying to get across, but most of this stuff has been re-posted. Do you have any new information?
I assumed as much, though I feel that this conflict will not have a very happy end.
showing her patriotism and appreciation for the ukrainian flag
Just have to keep this on the backburner then. On a sidenote there was an interesting reddit (yes, I know) discussion from a Ukrainian officer a couple months back that I snagged this from. Basically said what most of us know
>Ukrainian army trying to modernize, but has bad logistics
>Unit readiness varies by unit, his was alright
>some guys are getting newer stuff like NVGs and the like
>most news coming from the conflict is propaganda, from both sides.
got killed by the artillery strike from the ukrainian forces
I believe Putin got (mostly) what he wanted from the conflict. An unstable Ukraine that won't be able to join NATO or the EU anytime soon, at least not until they take back or sever the eastern separatist part.
Holy fuck are you that dumb that you don't realize how hypocritical you sound?
>mistakes happen sometimes
When the Russians kill a kid it's an honest mistake, but when the Ukraininas do it "why did they have to kill that innocent boy/girl/old lady?". I don't know how you guys expect to win the propaganda war against people with any degree of education with this type of idiotic arguments. But then again, maybe you don' need to win it against the educated ones. I don't think anyone in this war is good or bad, but it's clear that it's the result of Russian aggression, and that's a fact.
>When the Russians kill a kid
wtf are you tallking about, retard. I was saying that I'm not sure if the pic is from 2014 and what caused the death of this kid
seems you are the one who got no education and only sees what your propaganda told you to see.
the workers revolted themselves! Fascists are trying to oppress them!
>this conflict will not have a very happy end
For Russia, it's already lost asymmetrically. It's crystal clear that they won't get what they wanted (and, btw, Crimea is fucked big time now that the obvious leverage of food, water and electricity is being finally utilized), oil is a pale shade of its former self, nobody will trade with them, nobody will trust them for decades to come.
As for Ukraine... I think they have a chance if Russia just leaves them the fuck alone. Unlikely to happen, though - look at other Russia's affairs - Georgia, Ossetia, Karabakh, Transnistria to name a few.
that's how ukrainians celebrate mass killing of their own
i'm off. don't forget all these ukrainian war crimes that I've shown you. bye
I couldn't really care less who wins this war but I've never liked when people post dead civilians as proof that one side is bad.
Civilians die in literally every war ever and usually they die more than military combatants.
Unless there is evidence one side went out of their way to execute or mistreat civilians, posting random dead civilians who were killed by artillery means nothing.
Kiev government is killing off own citizens and shelling cities where the majority of citizens disagreed with the results of the latest revolution...
Politically and partially ethnically motivated civil war, with direct approval and funding from the Western nations...
And the Ukrops still claim this isn't a civil war.
If you're actually at war with Russia, go ahead and bomb Russia then instead of your own cities.
You braindead, salo-eating, glue-sniffing, horilka-drinking, money-begging, mongoloids...
That's sad. Whites killing whites.. But Russia is the aggressor and is wrong..
Also that western media bullshit of Ukrainians being Nazi's is just bullshit..
Jew media.. "Call them NAZI's that will rile them up!"
>If you're actually at war with Russia, go ahead and bomb Russia then instead of your own cities
LMAO, you don't need to do that, Russia's doing it itself just fine
This makes me remember Golda Meir's quote: "We can forgive the Arabs for killing our children. We cannot forgive them for forcing us to kill their children."
Russia's all busy with making its children hating the rest of the world and being ready to shoot at it.
When did Professor Hugo Strange get his commission?
