Fucking IN, all 80's
mmmm I love a nice 7075 aircraft grade Aluminum paperweight.
When I lived in Redmond, I applied to Nintendo's customer service online and actually got called back in less than a minute. It was ridiculous. Ended up making $13/hr and got promoted to supervisor in about 2 months.
Well duh, how else can you gauge their urethra with the punches?
>dont forget to use lots of oil when drilling out the holes.
Why are you so god damn proud of an 80% lower?
It defeats the purpose if you post proof where all the alphabet agencies lurk about.
And it's not like an 80% lower is even hard to complete for fucks sake
90% actually wasn't that bad. Most people were actually fairly friendly and some of the problems I got to solve were really interesting, like detective work almost. That other 10% was petty rough though. I actually bought this AR with the money I made there.
for the lulz
I have a photographer friend who took some gear pics
Really haven't been shooting the AR too much, with deer season and all.
>tfw blocking his watermark
Not sure if exposure on /k/ is gud
Naw that's to help force the bigger ones in. Look how big I got the hole to
I like your style.
Here's a little bullshit 5 pointer I got to open the season.
I love that goretex parka. With a fleece under it, it's like a snow suit.
Totally amazing, dude. Nothing is better than getting your SO to indulge in your fetishes, and I'm excited as fuck for strapon play.
Now if only I had more money for shit, so I could buy a new m65 jacket and sex equipment.
Let alone any cash for guns unfortunately
>literally took Anon hunting and got a hog
Im trying to find me some multicam goretex locally, before I resort to buying some online. I have woodland goretex pants and a UCP goretex jacket but....so uggo. Multicam is a perfect camo for my area.
Currently I just wear that softshell and put on layers under it. Its comfy.
the new "OCP" parkas aren't made like the old ones.
Get a Woodland or DCU camo one. They're all over eBay.
That was one piece of issued kit that I wore all the time.
I feel your pain, been paycheck to paycheck myself lately.
Well thanks for the advice, I guess I need to get super clean for butt munching tonight if he'll do it.
Any tips on cleaning up?
To add to this: having a parent realize that their child wasn't an innocent angel and made a bunch of charges on their credit card without permission was always a good laugh.
>Our credit card was stolen through a Nintendo product
>The card was only used on a system with the same serial number as the one you have
>That can't be right
>These charges were made on account with your son's name in the email
>...That little shit
Good times. Fuck Gamestop though. They caused me so many problems that I refuse to buy anything through them again. Also, never get a refurbished system from Gamestop. Those drunken monkeys screw it up half the time and the actual manufacturers will not repair a system opened by anyone else.
It has been unseasonably warm on the east coast this winter.
Unseasonably wet in the southwest
Winter... Is Here.
Alternatively, because I look like a fucking tard in that photo.
It's gotten colder in SC the past few days. It's was about 40-50 or so when I went out shooting today. Outdoor ranges are so much better than indoor. I'm never going back.
Fuckin El Nino, and climate change.
Literally LOL'd at the Hodor.
It fell to the low 20s in NOVA, after a 73* Christmas day.
Any gwg nerds who wants these pics had better save them, I won't post again.
Literally limited edition, museum quality here.
For those that haven't seen, MAC reviewd the BFS.
I went from being super hyped about it to not wanting it at all. How the fuck do you design a trigger meant to be used for quick firing, yet it suffers from hammer follow? If it didn't suffer from hammer follow, I'd be willing to fork out $400 for it. As it is, I wouldn't pay more than $200.
I have to admit, I'm glad I waited for some reviews before ordering it.
I dunno man, I still think it's a better system than the slidefire stock, or the assisted reset TACCON trigger.
Can you imagine that Visage hobbling up to the firing line speaking in 'hodor' to some tiny kid while they magdump?
All the shit I humped up to the range, had to walk 1/4 mile because the snow was too deep to drive.
>A military pack with about 50 pounds of ammo in under the poncho.
My system is shaving my ass, dick/balls and the area inbetween. Afterwards, I use one of those showerheads connected by a hose to the wall, and unscrew the handheld showerhead.
Make sure the water is tepid, and fill yourself up until you feel some pressure, then go to the toilet and open the floodgates. It'll feel weird, but it works. Do that about 3 times, 5 to be extra sure. It's normal to be extra gassy after this so dry your ass off and get your SO to buttmunching asap
She looks like Clarissa. The early 90s called, they want their early attempts at identity from the 80s back.
He'd certainly be firing slavshit.
Funny thing, I took the AR and the AK and threw them in tge snow, stomped them down and packed snow on top with my boot.
>Ar zero malfunctions
>AK had trigger reset issues for a few rounds
Neither failed to fire or cycle though.
Your boner might be confused.
I want to take my Mosin for a walk in the snow this year if we get some.
On the gun or just unfinished lowers?
I wish I still had my Chink MAK 90-that thing was BLUED.
I'm not a big fan of the 1.5x magnification range.
Seems like additional eye relief for not much magnification gained.
They're like looking through a straw to me.
All I have is a stamped WASR-10, not even a 10/63.
It's got some cant in the front sight, but it's never failed me. I also haven't put it through too much either.
My plan is to build a 7.62x39 pistol.
PSA upper, raw lower, shockwave brace, binary trigger (down the road). Ive got a carry handle for the rear right so thatll make for a cool mini M4 look with regular handguards.
Anyone selling a lower for not a fuckton of money?
Also is x39 a bad bet? Do they still feed like shit or is it g2g these days? I figure with the shorter barrel itd serve me better at <100 metters. Plus I can shoot corrosive and save money.
Just trying do something fun and cheap, the fancy pants trigger may or may not happen, might even ZEG it up and paint it yellow
Mine's 3x30. I never got a chance to look down any of the x1.5 ACOGs (even though I thought it would be neat to get one) but I've been told by many opinionated people that they're extremely shitty. I'm sure they work better for some people than for others, but I doubt they're as bad as people say.
For me, x3 is sitting pretty. Now I'm just waiting for my AK to come in so I can take both of them shooting (that is, assuming I decide to drop $200 on ammo for the AK rather than $270 for plates that I have absolutely no use for.)
It'll be fine, have fun with slavshit in its natural habitat. Get some snow on it and se what it takes to malfunction.
The AK should get slightly more choked if you pack wet snow into it but the AR will
>Run fine on day 1
>Require mortaring to get into action the morning of day 2
>Be frozed solid day 3
Assuming you don't strip and dry it every night.
As someone who would be interested in buying an AR, do you /k/ommandos like that older style front sight? I've seen a lot of ARs come with removable flip up sights, which I thought would be useful for optics. Does the opder front sight inhibit your optic view too much?
I have a full handguard and I am considering buying a DD solid front sight post. It dosnt fuck with my aimpoint having the current up all the time, and it didnt bother me in the .mil either
The answer is always fixed sights.
You do you, I like fixed sights with my red dot uppers, and hyper expensive flip up jewelry I'll never use on my magnified uppers.
so... who are the semen demons? Friends?
I have a question! I have a couple of backpacks and don't really want to buy a whole new one. With a normal backpack how do you guys recommend holding extra mags? I want to carry 4-6 10/30 hexmags. Bonus points hard mode: I'm from California and can save more weight hiking by using the 10rd pmags. can't find a pic of my rifle on my computer right now so here is a pic of AZ
good to know, I haven't seen any aluminum 10rd ones. I've already got the Pmag 10rd. and I think they weight almost as much as the hex 10/30. But that is not my issue. My issue is that I don't have a chest rig/ mag pouches. How to a do them with a regular backpack and are there any other options that I haven't thought about?
trying to buy a few 80% lowers and a jig, Anderson, Palmetto, and the other big guys are out.
Only 3 companies seem to have some or filling orders not sure how good they are. Can anyone help.
In no specific order which one do you guys think i should get I was gong to go with 80-lowers cause of price but don't want to get ripped off.
What >>28447844 said. I'm pretty disgusted by the fact that if you do want le meme engravings you have to have pictogram selector markings and NE's company name on it despite the fact that they aren't manufacturing the firearm, you are.
What about the non-maymay lowers as far as the actual quality of the metal goes?
> I'm pretty disgusted by the fact that if you do want le meme engravings you have to have pictogram selector markings and NE's company name on it
Yeah you should definitely have the choice. Some people it might not care at all and even like it a bit.
>despite the fact that they aren't manufacturing the firearm, you are
They are still doing 80% of the work anon. If I painted a landscape with trees and animals and left room for you to paint a house and truck . would you still tell me that you made the painting?
Like I said though, I do agree that the Nugget Enterprises thing should be completely optional.
It's just like any 7075-T6 lower, anon. Most of the 80% lowers out there come from one or two distributors, if I'm not mistaken, and people buy them en masse and put their dank rollmarks on them for resale.
I could be wrong about that, but really, the quality isn't any better or worse than other 80%s of its type. Just buy one and creme de la meme with me >>28447754
That's not too bad. They do look cool and the engravings for the giggle switch would go pretty well with binary trigger in >>28438746 thread.
But really the "NUGGET ENTERPRISES LLP" really does put me off from getting one, aside that any of the engravings don't really interest me all that much. A foxhound one might be cool though.
>They are still doing 80% of the work anon
They aren't doing shit, they just ordered forgings with the flash milled off and engraved to their specifications and put it up for sale.
There are ~10 forges actually making lower blanks in the US. Some of the big companies do their own finish milling, but most everyone else gets them another 20 or so big machine shops with 4 of those doing most of the heavy lifting.
A finished lower receiver (100%), anno and everything is running the high volume outfits somewhere in the $7-$12 range.
Thinking of buying specifically a quadrail for my midlength and I noticed MI is having a sale on two piece freefloats for $100. Are they any good? I sorta avoided buying from them when I needed a rail mount for my ak and got someone more specialty.
> currently own a basic 16" Bushmaster with carry handle.
>I also own a stripped flattop upper, and a stripped lower.
>I plan incomplete a n 80% lower sometime in the future.
>i would like a 300blk pistol with a brace.
Help me decide where to use the flattop and what to do with my soon to be two lowers
If you don't have any 300+ ranges an SPR might no be the best use of funds, but they're damn cool.
I have an 80% pistol with a brace and it's just amusing to own. It's my 'laws are always flawed' gun.
Depends on what you want out of it. The A2's a pretty decent flash hider, really.
If you just want the best flash hider you can get, the BE Meyers 249F is great. If you want to eventually get a suppressor, there's various flash hider mounts available from Surefire, AAC, Silencerco, etc.
I'd rank Surefire and Silencerco above AAC, yeah.
BE Meyers also offers a version of the 249 that is compatible with Silencerco suppressors, that's a nice option, although I don't know how it performs relative to the 249F because the prongs are a lot smaller.
Just keep in mind that the standard BE Meyers is long as shit. Great if you've got a short barrel you want to bring up to 16" (13.7" works with the 249F) but it makes a 16" barrel come in well over 18".
Nugget Enterprises sourced the lowers from Black Creek Precision
(unique forge code in the pistol grip area and finish gave it away)
They are not anodized but it seems like they sandblasted the lowers to give them a nice matte finish instead of the ugly raw forging look.
They also have a 4-40 Upper reciever Tensioning Screw hole pre threaded just like Aero Precision did with their V2 lowers not too long ago.
Quality 80% lower, just don't fuck it up milling it out with a drill press like a cheap nigger so you don't waste 80 memebucks.
That kinda depends on a lot of thing. You'll have to decide if it's an issue. Most decent aftermarket flash hiders are going to be longer than the A2, but the BE Meyers is especially long.
other non ping flash hiders included the Wilson combat accupoint fh and Fossa flash hider
if the prongs on a flash hider are equal length, the your muzzle device acts a tuning fork and will ping/ring when shot.
Some flashhiders such as the surefires, AAC, etc exhibit this while other take measures such as asymmetrical scallops or unequal prong lengths to minimize said ping.
>go to post in ARG
>duplicate file exists here
Dafuq? Oh, you should've brought Lance's knockoff with you to the range next time. Hell, even to the steel match challenge!
No but they do make round handguards that fit the a1 style.
AR15 confirmed best rifle of all time
they all do
A2s and A4s have triangle end caps
>Look around on Ebay for one that fell of a truck
Keep in mind that Knight's Armament has M5 RAS Seconds available directly from them for only $150.00 new in box as well. Some of the eBay listings match or exceed that for used.
So my LGS got in a LWRC M6IC-DI in and I can't help but feel LWRC missed a trick.
While it is the IC full ambi lower, the superb M6 polylithic upper/rail, their compact stock, and ditches the piston which are all things I love; they did not include their skirmish sights or ambi sling plate.
For $1599, it is still a fantastic mid-high end complete rifle, with far more features than a competing DD. Missing out on the little accessories that are included with LWRC's more expensive piston guns though is disappointing.
Easy mode: find a friend with land. Get in your tree stand by 6, 6:15am Wait till 10:0am. Should be something to shoot. If not, 4-6:00pm. Deer are most active at dusk and dawn, but you want to be settled and still for a long time before the deer shows. Up. Shoot the deer between the top of his shoulder and a little closer to the base of the neck. Watch youtube to figure out how to clean it
>>Quality 80% lower, just don't fuck it up milling it out with a drill press like a cheap nigger so you don't waste 80 memebucks.
So you are saying if I buy a meme lower I should use a router
New FFL EOs are a bitch.
Panic buying has already started. PSA rifle kits are sold out.
i didn't know this was a thing and now that i do i want it
Luckily I was just looking to build a basic bitch carbine, those are still available.
I love how the 16" Recce feels; I took it to a Haley Strategic D3 class and it ran like a champ.
well yeah, it's a normal milspec trigger
can't be any worse than the trigger that came with the SCAR
I expected it to be halfway decent because of the teflon type coating.
I have a colt trigger that has less creep and a better break.
It's wobbly as shit and it's the size of a CAR stock
its not like i would plan on keeping either of them
i've got a box full of AR stocks
You mean if you want your own design put on it?
Also, how the hell is this thread still alive?
I'm getting excited to complete a build soon
I have a couple LWRC stocks, both the compact and the UCIW, both are great. The LWRC trigger is a decent mil style trigger. Not a match trigger by any means, but that is why they have Geissele as an option on all their rifles.
Pick a barrel length you want, everything after that is candy.
>Prefer not spending dd money
well i guess you'll just never be cool then.
nobody worth a shit really makes them besides DD
which is really kinda gay
they're not like full rails that extend past the fsb
if you're a soldier that just took a dive into mud, would you not?
I'm looking for a free float rail for a 12.5" pistol build I am working on and there seems to be a lack of OD green rails. Is OD green just not as popular as FDE? Would my best bet be to just find a rail that I like and ship it somewhere to cerakote it?
so with this whole 41p bs going into affect, i think i should buy an sbr.
i really want a kac lower but i don't have the money for that so i'll probably just get whatever my lgs has.
I refuse to be productive in an AR thread made by Whoregun retard, so here's a goat and nothing more. :^
41p is expected to be signed soon(in not already) and 180 after it's signed it goes into affect and trust will no longer work for nfa items after the 180 days.
i would really like a can for my pistol but, again, no cash for that.
Prince Law put out a good first blush breakdown, and say they will have a more comprehensive review as part of their efforts to fight it soon.
I want to submit some stamps before 41p takes effect, the problem is I don't have money for all the NFA shit I want right now.
Can I just submit a few Form 1's with custom serial numbers for the kind of thing I'm trying to make, and engrave that later?
Ex; want to make a SBS, but no shotgun. Submit a Form 1 with serial number 12345. Buy shotgun months later with serial number 67890. Get Trust info + 12345 engraved on it.
true, supposedly as long as the check clears before the 180 days are up, the trust route is still good.
guess i better start saving for a gucci lower and .45 can or maybe a multi caliber pistol can.
Looking at the definitions;
>j. Description of Firearm and Markings
>(6) Item 4g.
>Do not alter or modify the serial number of an existing firearm.
>Enter the existing serial number in Item 4g. to register the firearm.
Adding a serial doesn't violate the first sentence.
One could argue that if you don't have the firearm yet, then there is no existing serial number. As long as you engrave the number you put in Item 4g, it should retroactively apply; because at that point you have a firearm with a given serial, and an approved form for that serial.
This trigger is amazing I can't wait to take it to the range.
I painted mine like this recently. Came out very well.
Linear brakes? They work to direct sound and reduce concussion. You still need hearing protection but they make short barrels a lot more comfortable to shoot extended sessions with, next to, or indoors.
>actually wanting a 'safety stage'
lol bro. Single stage or ur gey
>too poor to have anti walk pins
>too gay to have a straight trigger
>paying for extra random junk instead of just the trigger
Pretty close to it. Not autistic enough to mimic the exact shapes and placing but you get the idea. Colors are the same though. It blends surprisingly well with both multicam and AOR2
It's so light I don't even notice the first stage unless I'm going for precise shots, in which case it's nice to go right up to an obvious, clean wall.
It's okay to be jealous sometimes
I have never once seen the need for one. Even if the standard one interferes with gloves, it folds down. The BCM grips fill in the annoying gap, so that's not an issue.
And yeah, the trigger's more important than the trigger guard.
>in which case it's nice to go right up to an obvious, clean wall.
Exactly, which is why I want a trigger with 0 creep, and feels like a glass rod that suddenly snaps in half. It's ok I know you are just trying to convince yourself it was a good purchase and that you don't feel remorse about it.
So what's the best placement for a bipod? Closer to the muzzle or closer to the mag well? I feel like muzzle end is the obvious answer.
Also: r8 me pls.
