Forgive stupid questions, I am EU twat.

Out of curiosity, was playing GTA5 and was thinking "Do the prices in the game actually reflect reality?"

So /k/, how much does average pistol, shotgun, ammunition etc cost?

Does America have franchise gun stores?

How much would you say you've spent so far?
>>
google could answer three of those questions.
>>
>>28440129
>300 bucks for an afg
>>
>>>/int/
>>
>>28440129
No those prices are retardedly high
>>
>>28440129
Minus the grip and mag, depending on quality of parts you're buying, that listing is kinda accurate.

I mean, an eotech with a magnifier or an ACOG easily goes for 1k, and suppressors can run cheap or insanely expensive, along with a 200$ tax.

So technically yes, and no

>k/, how much does average pistol, shotgun, ammunition etc cost?
$3.50 to $350
>Does America have franchise gun stores?
Yes
>How much would you say you've spent so far?
A lot.
>>
>>28440129
>So /k/, how much does average pistol, shotgun, ammunition etc cost?
Pistols start at 300, shotties at around 500 if you want decent quality, ammo depends on what you're buying. 60 rounds of 5.56 for 36, or 50c a round, isn't crazy
>Does America have franchise gun stores?
No, bit franchise sporting/camping stores commonly sell guns
>How much would you say you've spent so far?
Wut
>>
>>28440129
Also
>average pistol
I dunno, caniks, pocket guns, and zastavas run about 300
>rifle
Wasrs run 500-600, same with m&p 15's, but high end stuff goes for 1000. So you could say 750.
>shotgun
They're actually pretty cheap, 500 will buy a more than solid shotgun.

>franchise gun stores
Yep, There's cabelas, gander mountain, fin feather fur..,there's more, just can't remember
>>
>>28440129
>average pistol, shotgun, etc cost:
Glocks are around $500
Other plastic pistols go for $300-500
Good 1911s are around $1000

AR-15s are $600-1000 for a decent all rounder, $2000 for a premium build
Hunting (bolt action) rifles are closer to $500 plus glass
AKs are close to $700
Leverguns go from $400 to $1500, depending on caliber and quality

Pump action shotguns are $300-600
Break barrel shotguns tend to be more expensive because they are made to high quality standards for hunters

Pistol ammo (9mm,.45acp) goes for 20-50 cents per round
Intermediate calibers (.223, 7.62x39) go for 25-75 cpr
Large calibers (.30-06, 7mm rem mag, .45-70) tend to be closer to $1/round
Shotgun shells are 25-50 cpr, with slugs being around $1/round

Anyone who shoots a lot reloads their ammunition (except for shotgun shells), drastically reducing the cost

Well for starters you can't just buy a fully armed tank or an attack helicopter online in America. Or RPGs over the shelf.

So clearly the NFA never happened, probably cause when we kicked australia's ass we didn't want to be a buncha antigun faggots.
>>
>>28440129
>pistol
300-1000, depends what model you get, more expensive doesn't necessarily mean better for you
>shotgun
300-500 on a lot of them, but you can spend over 1000 if you want
>rifle
a good semi auto usually costs 500-1000 depending on what you get, I'd say most fall between those two numbers or close to it
>ammunition
~20 cents per round up to 50 cents per round for most common stuff, closer to $1 per round of hunting ammo often times since it's made to be far deadlier than fmj, or for rarer ammo for collector guns that's not produced in mass quantities
>scopes
sky is the limit, but you can start as low as 100-200 bucks for an ok one
>How much would you say you've spent so far?
about 7600 on guns, and over 5000 on ammo in the last 6 or 7 years
>>
>>28440347
Technically you can buy tanks and helicopters, just no guns installed.
>tfw you'll never have a functioning tank cannon

At least if I'm smart enough I can rig up old gatlings to a chopper, right?
>>
>>28440294
Shotshells can be reloaded and it isn't uncommon for guys shooting high markup stuff like steel waterfowl loads to reload them or for neurotic clays shooters who need them "just right."
>>
>>28440407
>tripfag
>smart
Good joke
>>
>>28440465
That was the joke, anon.

Also it'd be hard as fuck to rig up something like that, though thatd be badass.

Answer; too much

Fuck no.
