Pigdisgusting cellulite ass
I love me some boom boom
black widow to follow
shit speed, shit range, shit payload, shit aesthetics, not even cheap, either.
It's got air intakes and exhausts, anon
Doesn't take off vertically and is of already proven design so you can't throw billions of taxpayer dollars to corporate pockets but would rather have that money spend in actual development and production.
Keeping all those hanger crew in gainful employment.
Unless Boeing has addressed this problem in the past four years, the NLG drag brace is prone to shit the bed due to repeated carrier landings with a full combat load. Other than a few more problems regarding jamming capabilities that I'm not at liberty to discuss, it's a great EW platform, that should serve us well into this century.
The ALQ-99 is really just a maintenance intensive system, also a few of the transmitters are in extremely limited supply, with no way to produce new ones. They've tried, but can't get them to work, it's like the transmitters for this particular band run on fucking magic or something.
Can't hook up to a boom.
Its also a fighter, and as a mechanic, I fucking hate working on or around fighters. No room to work, the leadership is metric-chasing slave-drivers, and you can break them just by looking at them too hard. At least they usually are stationed in shitholes like bombers are.
Not who you are talking to but we bitch because of how retarded the military makes it to work on aircraft.
I'd rather work on fighters any day because I don't need another shop do everything for me.
I totally get the independence thing, but its nigh impossible with the shear amount of stuff some of the heavies have. Especially bombers and electronic platforms. In the heavy community, bomber/specials hate slicks/trash haulers.
The navy is addressing this with NGJ.
Not really, It can use fuel tanks to go farther than the F-35 can go stealthily. Conformal fuel tanks could get it to F-35 range if bought.
Payload is not what's important for a dedicated electronic fighter. Even then it has a super hornets payload minus the wing tip stations so it's no slouch.
>not even cheap
The latest batch of growlers was around 70 or eighty million a pop. That's less than a brand new american fighter of any other type besides the super hornet.
The current jammers problems are being addressed as we speak if they have not finished yet. We've been over this and your simulation doesn't stand.
usually we want our hardware to bomb moslem terrorists, not invite them into our own countries
F-14s don't fold their wings. Hornets do.
