Just saw this for the first time. Why must my shitty state always be shit? Can't wait to leave this shithole...
>A gun in the home is responsible for a vast majority of children killed by firearms
>a vast majority
>Why must my shitty state always be shit?
I feel you. I doubt that I'll be leaving anytime soon because reasons.
One day, Faillinois will collapse into Somalia, and I'll be a warlord.
This right the fuck here.
Massfag here. There are plenty of places out in western mass, hell a lot of places just west of 128, that are totally chill with guns, except for my town and a few others. But the vast majority of the shit comes from the greater boston area.
Ban assault telepathy.
>Evil aliens wearing children suits.
I knew it! Sandy Hook was actually an X-COM op!
>Not having destroyed animals mounted on your walls.
Anti-funs confirmed for casuals.
>Do you believe the government will take your guns away?
>I'm sorry, the government just took your guns away because you believe the government will take guns away.
If someone can give me a picture of a black guy buying a gun from another black guy illegally, i can try to replace the first panel. And the last panel should be some liberal saying "He is innocent" or "he's a college boy." or "he didn't do nuthing" or something long those lines.

> Greetings fellow comrade puller trigger
> do you too desire to make my bolt in your rectal orifice?
> This is not what pig capitalist do normal?
> then why does my puller of trigger do so to me???
> hey man, I think your nugget is crying
> niet, niet, it just cosmoline.
Dat, what's the correct term for it, cognitive dissonance? "This guy hates and fears us because he thinks we might do a thing to him, better justify his hatred and fears by doing that exact thing."
Unless it's Robot Santa, it won't work on him.
Fuck man that hurts.
Same here. Califag, and most of California outside of the LA/San Diego and San Fran areas are conservative and pro funs, but are politically oppressed by the mass opulence, wealth and power of the leftist areas listed above.
>Post about this on facebook, purposefully missing the satire and calling out how horrible and insensitive it is
>Get other people to chime in until that fat faggot loses enough faith in humanity to kill himself
>Reagan would probably be in purgatory for closing off the machine gun registry.
The firearms act of 1986 was like 90% awesome. The machine gun registry closing was, I think, a necessary sacrifice. Of course, back then, Reagan had Democrats in congress that he could actually work with.
>The machine gun registry closing was, I think, a necessary sacrifice
Faggot detected. Don't get fooled into sacrificing your rights nigger. Look how fucked shit is now because of all these little sacrifices we've made over the course of the years.
I'm surprised at how many kikes hate guns. What with all the screeching about the shoah, you'd think they'd like guns.
Holocaust II: Electric Jewgaloo
Not really. It closed off an entire class of guns because reasons. We lost an irreplaceable portion of our gun rights for a temporary gain. That portion of FOPA will never be significantly amended or repealed.
There's a couple of these Eric Holder against gun violence ads, even though he's literally in contempt of congress for his illegal weapons trafficking program. Amazing Leland Yee went down for the same thing when Holder was too high and too close to Obama and was protected. The media fully ignored and blacked out both, of course.

>As if the political cartoons on our side are much better
Political cartoons use hyperbole and appeals to emotion while oversimplifying issues, ignoring or making fun of the opposing side rather than confronting it and refuting it, and being poorly drawn and unfunny.
Political cartoons are for people who don't want to make decisions for themselves and their creators are scum for profiting from a venture which contributes absolutely nothing to society.
pic unrelated, somebody's beautiful pile of guns
>Political cartoons use hyperbole and appeals to emotion while oversimplifying issues, ignoring or making fun of the opposing side rather than confronting it and refuting it, and being poorly drawn and unfunny.
Yeah, but it works. If it didn't, John Stewart wouldn't have an audience.
I don't get the appeal of Jon Stewart or Stephen Colbert. There's a kind of sick desperation in their jokes about politics.
I think people like them more for the fact that they have strong convictions and stand by issues rather than for the issues themselves that these men support; conviction like that is rare
The suicide one is kind of true, I think it's something like one in five or one in three gun-related deaths are suicides. A lot of the time, if a person doesn't have a convenient way of committing suicide, then they won't. It sounds like bullshit but I promise it's true; the vast majority of the time even a minor inconvenience is enough to stop a person from killing themselves.
>Assault weapon with a high capacity ammunition clip
My fucking ears.
>we Britain now
I'll leave the fucking US if it comes down to that. There's no way I would pay taxes and support a government just to have it oppress me.
At that point either leave, start shooting, or shut the fuck up and take it, and the latter two are for maniacs (fighting against the choice of the majority) and pussies (changing their stance in the face of opposition).
It's mind boggling to me that the same people against war advocate for nuclear disarmament. They want to get rid of the only thing that has stopped WW3 and other large scale conventional conflicts thus far.
People like their shows because they think it's real news and it's "funny". It's sad how people praise that old manlet for being clever and funny while he makes the audience think trampling their rights is okay because Jon stewart made a joke about it.
Same reason a lot of middle and upper class city people are against guns. They were raised by liberal retards to be liberal retards and the idea of self sufficiency is foreign to them.
its like people refuse to believe that a well made bomb in any of the shooting wouldve killed more people,in a theatre with people densely packed ,shrapnel would eviscerate ,a fire would start ,the injured would burn and suffocate on smoke as they got trampled.
and a bombing a school would be way more effective:
the fire alarm rings ,the children/teenagers evacuate to a safe predesignated spot ,tightly packed ,standing upright.
then the bombs placed at the evacuation site go off.
The classic example of cognitive dissonance is a girl needing to be told multiple times that her new haircut looks good before she will internalize it and put her mind at ease. It's a term used in the buisness world, basically it's that feeling of second guessing your decisions, a feeling of discord in your brain.
I literally just found this a minute ago. Enjoy the headache.
That's a new level of low.
For fuck sake not even /b is that low
they never think of the meta, do they? apply their own techniques and analysis to this primer.
do you suppose the people teaching you to manipulate others... are manipulating you? i guess that never crosses their minds.
>gun in home increases risk of murder by 200% (triple)
>gun in home increases risk of suicide by 400% (quintuple)
>gun in home increases risk of death by firearm by 72%
the only way these numbers are even possible is if firearms somehow increase the risk of NON-firearm suicides and murders.
>Living In Illinois

>Folks look at me expecting a rebuttal.
>For the left "It's called a *magazine,* god*damnit*!!"

>Mom replied with "But they are saying facts!"
>"Anyone who can't be bothered to look up the right name for a gun probably hasn't bothered looking up anything else, either."
Our public channels are pro-shooting sports and pro-hunting. Never really expressed much poltical views other than really liberal radio talk shows, that still happen to be at least neutral on guns. I don't know what kind of shithole you live in.
Meanwhile the ATF ruled recently that Trusts weren't persons, so they unintentionally opened up a loophole for newly manufactured machine guns.
What's more is they approved quite a few of the Form 1's people sent in, and a few people made MGs already.
>The NRA likes to talk about its work as the defense of American freedom. Recognize that, depending on the audience, both sides of the debate have the opportunity to claim moral authority. But, don’t yield that ground. Fight for it by emphasizing that a reckless disregard for the gun violence that plagues so many people’s lives is morally bankrupt and doesn’t have anything to do with protecting freedom.
>Examples of powerful language:
>It breaks my heart that every day in our country (state or city) children wake up worried and frightened about getting shot.”
>Just imagine the pain that a mother or father feels when their young child is gunned down.”
If you were inna political cartoon you would. However let me pose a semi serious scrutiny of shirt selection, if you owned a shirt with a person's first or last name only on it, would you rather it be yours or somebody else's name?
Depends on the situation. If it's a sporting jersey (or shirsey) or 'kit', you can reasonably go either way. I can understand me owning a James Shields Jersey for example, or one made with my own name. But if it was just a standard shirt? I['d probably lean with it saying "Doug"
>I said something the way you don't like, man up
>unless you offend a social group I'm sympathetic too, then you have to be kind and considerate
Fucking liberals. These are the faggots who decided that "Colored People" is offensive but "People of Color" is A-OK
you bring up kinves and their first response is "LOL, Americans. We're too fat and lazy to kill people with knives. You can just run away anyways"
Then you bring up the Chinese stabbings and its maximum retardation on why we should ban guns anyway
It's essentially a separate entity that is used to deal with the ATF on NFA items.
It's its own separate sort of thing. It's not a person, a corporation, or anything. It's a trust.
The thing is, i think this is intentional, and works out best for everyone.
1) richfags and investment fags want the new machine guns. They want F/A scars. They want F/A new manufacture m16 lowers, ect. They need a way to loophole them in.
2) Poorfags want more older shit on the market, and they want a it a little more cheap.

so, my college is scheduled to have a lockdown today. they are requesting that everyone on campus "conceal" themselves. I think it's fairly obvious that it's a simulation of what to do in the event of a shooter on campus. the whole idea of being forced under my desk to think about the possibilities really bugs me. it feels like fear mongering. I've decided not to participate. I'm hoping that campus police doesn't take issue with it, but I'm prepared to stand my ground if they do. I just don't want to contribute to the culture of fear regarding what is such an incredibly rare situation.
He never implied that you insecure autist
Are there any statues on campus, if so pretend to be one. If it is a statue of an animal that is of good enough size, pretend to ride it.
Recently some faggot who owns a bunch of F/As and didn't want their value to plummet reported this shit to the ATF because he has friends who worked there.
Since then, the ATF has been rejecting all Form 1's for MGs within a few days, and sending out letters to people who have gotten their Form 1 approved to send it back, essentially "because we said so."
Form 1's used to take months to get approved or denied, but they've upped their shit recently and the Form 1's aren't being sent to the standard people who evaluate them.
There's a pro-2nd amendment law firm that's been getting everyone who has sent in Form 1s to contact him, and especially those who have had their Form 1's approved, and super especially the ones who have used the tax stamp to make an MG already.
He's getting prepared to file a lawsuit against the ATF in regards to the full-auto ban being unconstitutional, and he's also going to be challenging the Constitutionality of the NFA in general.
>You expect a demicunt to recognize a religious figure? Most of those asshat couldn't pick out a picture of Jesus from the Louvre.
>demicunt to recognize a religious figure?
Implication: All democrats either hate, or refuse to acknowledge jesus
Implication: If democrats hate/refuse the existence of jesus, conservatives/republicans love jesus
Fact: Republicans/conservatives tend to be in favor of guns rights
Implication: All conservatives love jesus
its not hard
Op's pic is just repeating the same thing over and over. Four of the six "facts" are the same suicide stats viewed from different perspectives.
Yes it is true that in America guns are the preferred suicide tool. 49% use guns compared to 38% that chose hanging. The remainder use pills or poison.
In Japan jumping in front of trains occurs 1500% more often than it does in America. They also use dangerous homebrew chemicals (H2S, chlorine gas, etc) far more often than Americans. Train suicides disrupt commuters and chemical gas methods endanger neighbors and rescue workers.
Rather than ban trains, Japan brought in legislation that would fine the families of victims for the disruption the suicides caused. These fines are costly enough to shame the potential suicide victim into choosing another method.
Guns are more popular tools for suicide just like guns are more popular than shovels when it comes to killing your wife. The real question should be "why are people killing themselves or killing their wives in the first place"?
that is an excellent and well thought out point anon.
Liberals will ignore it because that means actually fixing the problem. Just like the idea of focusing on enforcement of existing gun laws on inner city gangs is somehow not an option.
Had this conversation with a coworker the other day:
> "Why do you have an AK in your car?"
> "Because I like it and I can."
> "Do you really need it, though? Really?"
> "Nope. No more than you 'need' to vote, receive an education, have freedom from unreasonable searches or any of the other rights guaranteed you by the Constitution."
> "Well, I don't think anybody was ever killed by a vote."
> "Obviously, you've never heard of the Nazi Party."
Luckily, she's quite literally the only even remotely liberal employee there and everybody else hunts, shoots and loves guns.
I hope you gave the mugger a present for helping you.
>I'd like to be able to wear my katana at my hip
>advocating organizations that has killed hundreds of millions of people to have a monopoly on violence
The last sherd of hope and faith I had in humanity has just fucking died. Fuck this earth, this country is fucking broken and we cannot fix it. We just get to watch it burn.
>Aight we need a political cartoon to show how horrible gun violence and shit is. Dis what we gon do. We have big old letter say USA. Den there's these planes. >literally gives thousands of guns to drug cartels
>drug cartels kill tens of thousands with them
>"Thank you for your work on gun control, Senpai Holder!"
I usually don't but that was a whole new level of stupid fucking bullshit.
The fires rises!
>The real question should be "why are people killing themselves or killing their wives in the first place"?
Probably because their wives never fucking replace the empty toilet paper roll.
The political cartoons itt have really disturbed-er, I mean triggered me. The only comfort I can take is that even tho these statist psychopaths are powerful, they will have to physically remove my guns from my dead body. Oh well
Until they say "lolno our bad" and just refuse to accept trusts. If they get sued the media will fucking latch onto "This man is trying to get full autos on teh streets in teh hands of kidz" and it will be demonized and the case will die.
To be honest, this one always felt like satire to me.
Why don't people realize assault rifles by definition use smaller rounds than are traditionally used in hunting?
It's probably because Charlton wouldn't fit on the shirt as well.
Tom Tomorrow's comics appear in a Tennessean magazine weekly. He is such an unskilled artist though, he literally copy/pastes this template for half of his comics with that fucking liberal penguin. The same magazine was also saying how sexist the heavy metal and punk rock industry was because there wasn't any female singers in the genre. Liberals in TN are funny.
Is this real life? The only way I can rationalize what they are saying is that they don't get what it's like to live in our environment.
The antis are obsessed with blending firearm statistics with suicide and domestic violence statistics. They are clouding the important issue and ignoring the victims.
These are not uniquely America social problems and they are not linked to guns in other countries. Domestic violence in particular is far worse in developing countries and it often goes unreported.
Lately I have been using this argument with the antis. Accuse them of ignoring the plight of female victims worldwide and only focusing on victims that fit their own firearm agenda. Claim they only care about white middle class American women who live in the suburbs, the ones who die when their restraining order couldn't save them from a dangerous ex.
HIGHCAPACITY AMMUNITION CLIP
Here's the thing, most gun deaths are suicides. OP is true. Having guns in the house makes new statistically likely that you'll be injured or killed by a gun. I think about these things bc I have little ones in the house, and I take steps to mitigate those risks.
Bottom line, gun owners aren't doing themselves any favors by mocking OP's pic, an acknowledging that guns are dangerous doesn't mean you don't have a right to own oneor that you're irresponsible for doing so.
Y'know what breaks my heart?
How many people have to get raped or killed because we're not allowed to protect ourselves.
There are shitlords all over this site ignoring the systemic racism perpetrated against persons of color.
lol I have one of sources
This is how these tactics got spread to the mainstream while we have to sit on anonymous message boards to not feel as pariahs
Actually, the max you can have in Ohio is 31(30 in magazine, one in chamber) before they go full retard and consider it a babby killing salt musheen gun.
Unless it's .22, then they don't give a fuck so long as it's not FA capable.
>your brain is your greatest weapon. Use it and you won't have to be afraid to go outside without a weapon
If my brain is my greatest weapon, and if I use it I don't be afraid to go outside without a weapon, does that mean I leave my brain inside? Do I never go outside? Do I go outside and not be afraid that I left my brain inside? If Tyrone, Jamal, and Damarcus show up to play the knockout game, will I use the powers of my brain that I left inside to defeat them with telekinesis? I used my brain and don't have a weapon. How far does my brain work? Do I need to be within 50 feet? 100 feet? Can I leave it in my car? What if TK and Oranjello break into my house, can I be afraid then? Is that when I can use my greatest weapon?
I need to lie down
Guess what I found? Available in 3 days
Aye /k/omrades the /k/ube wills it.
Remember friends, it is always darkest before dawn. This country will burn until the cancer that has taken root in it's heart is erased. Only then will America will rise again.
The signal will be given and the feds and their corporate masters will know fear like the very ones they so callously abused and threw away.
heh. the next 5 years are going to be fun.
Holy shit I didn't know when THAT became a job.
Isn't this from some MMO forum full of shut-ins?
MMO or Anime, I forget which
>voted into power
They weren't actually. Basically the leader of the Communist party was supposed to get Hitler's job, but "hurr commies!", so Hitler got the job, and manipulated his position to take over the country. Now there's some fucking irony for you.
The people who would eat that shit up already think full autos are legal and that AR-15s are assault rifles. People are fucking stupid.
It doesn't matter what the media says at this point. There's already such a huge amount of gun owners and the support for the 2nd amendment has only been growing.
The people who eat that shit up also supported the handgun ban in DC. The supreme court overruled it and the people who supported it pretty much shut the fuck up.
And if they refuse to accept trusts, it won't just be full autos that have more legal ground, the entire NFA will be as well because the defense provided by the US as to the NFA constitutionality was that NFA items weren't in common use by either the military or civilians, and it's federally legal because it's only a tax. If they refuse trusts, there's a fuck-ton of evidence that it's being used to restrict people's rights. Not only that, but NFA items are in common use by the military, and therefore are appropriate for militia use.
Someone should make a comic of one of these libtards standing on a pile of dead children, looming over someone with a gun or something, and saying "I have the moral high ground!"
As the saying goes, "Pennsylvania is Philadelphia in the east, Pittsburgh in the west, and Alabama in between."
Six of the eleven blue counties were won by a less than 5% shift. PA went for Obama.
>Americans understanding satire
God you people are depressing. Go read "the Emperor Has No Clothes" if you're too dense to understand how political satire works, or why it has a place in the democratic process (I mean, it's only been a part of politics FOREVER, but I suppose we should listen to you instead).
But frankly, I can understand why. There's not a single conservative who has a funny bone in their body. Fucking Dennis Miller's last special was disappointing, and I loved him in the 90's. But to paraphrase his routine, "hurr, Al Gore is a liberal weenie who loves the earth!" is not comparable to fucking anything on the Daily Show. Or even the new SNL (let alone the old).
>>If she owned a firearm it wouldn't have exactly changed anything, unless she carried on her while she's home.
>If she had a seat belt it wouldn't have exactly changed anything, unless she wore it while driving.
>If she owned a fire extinguisher it wouldn't have exactly changed anything, unless she used it when there was a fire.
>If she owned a calculator it wouldn't have exactly changed anything, unless she carried on her while in class.
Yes anon great observation. If you properly utilize tools and equipment efficiently, they can work, if not, they may not work. Profound words from the wise anon
>ie: conservatives suck at it, so we wish it was gone
It's like you hate free speech or something (oh yeah, because a lot of you do). Seriously, the right is the most die-hard about what people have to believe and aren't allowed to believe, if they want to be a part of their little clique. Liking guns doesn't mean you're pro freedom.
The point of gun control is to take away guns, so they don't want to find out why people are killing themselves and other people and stop the real problem.
You see this shit all the time, when they pull out the "if it saves one life it is worth it". They want to pass magazine capacity limits, detachable magazine bans, and semi-auto rifle bans, because if it has a possibility of saving lives its worth it. They're acknowledging that people will still die, but they argue that if one or two less people die the bans are OK. If they put the same effort into actually stopping violence they may get somewhere, but the point is to take away guns, not stop violence.
>We need a comprehensive solution to the problem of gun violence in the United States and Mexico.
Mexico and other similar countries are not our problem. Any violence that's spilled over should be deported back.
>High capacity ammunition clip
Jesus Christ. That almost sounds like satire
Damnit, I already have one comic I read that I don't completely understand (any other /k/omrades part of Zee Captain's secret army?).
The first one seemed like it was conservative, the porno store one I just don't know, and the last one was stupid (you're an idiot if you don't like a girl who's physically fit).
>not knowing aldi is behind trader Joe's
>not knowing the discounter chain that holds germany in its iron grip
>not knowing fucking wal mart was forced to leave german market because it couldn't compete with aldi's prices
>not knowing all the no name brands are produced by the big brands to get their piece of the cake (it's called fucking market segmentation)
I hate political cartoons
Okay this one is a lot clearer... kinda funny, though I prefer Bruce Mckinnon, he does the editortial for my local paper a lot. Pretty centrist
Yeah, yeah.. shockingly the party in power gives him more to talk about on the federal level than anyone else. He was just as loud and critical when Paul Martin or Jean Chretien were in charge, believe me (I have a couple books of his collected works on my shelf).
Lemme see if I can get a scan of my favorite (it's not gun related at all, but /k/ will like it).
What not to say
>"There’s a clear body of research demonstrating the high social cost of gun violence.”
>"Our experience promoting gun violence prevention measures in Congress and state legislatures has been that we always run into a brick wall of opposition built by the NRA."
>"It has long been established in law that, outside the home, a person has a ‘duty to retreat’ from a confrontation if he or she can do so safely.”
What to say
>"I’ll tell you what’s really fast and furious here. The way the NRA and its allies play fast and loose with the facts–and how furious the American people should be that the NRA’s constant attacks on the ATF help gun-runners get away with murder."
"He also illustrates and writes a cartoon for The Onion under the pseudonym of 'Kelly', depicting the far-fetched Republican and Fundamentalist Christian one-panels of a middle-aged cartoonist. According to Onion President Sean Mills in an interview with Wikinews, the cartoon has generated "a lot of heat." "He has a very unique take on what is going on in the world," said Mills, "and it does tend to upset some people, but that’s the job of an editorial cartoonist, to be a provocateur."
> the onion syndicate on the bottom should have been an indicator guys.
And another page from the book, only one I could find in it about guns... not actually sure if it's pro or anti, either.
>fucking wal mart was forced to leave german market because it couldn't compete with aldi's prices
Walmart can't exactly compete with a lot of the things aldi does, like having small stores and only having 6-9 people working at a time.
Also, some of walmart's cost-saving measures don't work too well in europe, at least compared to the saving they'd get in the states
I used to work in Chicago on third shift.
The only good thing about Chicago is the amount of women that want to bang you, but even then you have to deal with the drunk motherfuckers from every country.
Drunk Indian men are the most racist men, by the way.
