Post homemade guns, how-to's or shit you made yourself. This one I made, only fires blanks but is nice and loud.

A friend and I did but there is a section in the middle of the barrell that has less diameter of the rest so the bullet had to squeeze through. It got through first shot but it was really dangerous and we stopped

Just joking we didn't stop. I milled out the section in the middle of the barrell and we've shot about 100 rounds through it. Only .22's but they make noise. I am going to stop shooting it though. I am planning on cutting it up. I don't want it anymore.

It also blows out the primers after firing. That's why the powder comes out the back sometimes. It splits the shells too because the barrell is about 0.5 mm too big.

I never drew up the plans, I just made it, really. Here are all the pieces except for the bolt. The bolt won't come out because I stupidly tightened the nut on the back too much which mis-shaped the tube at the ent. The bolt won't come out anymore.
>>
The barrell is also removable for cleaning and if the gun fucks up I don't have to waste steel to make a new barrell. Pics in a moment. I'm working the barrell out.
>>
Barrel is out. Posting pics of the bolt soon. Fuck it smells like gunpowder

I'm guessing you didn't rifle the barrel, so you do realize that's an AOW and 10 years of federal prison you're holding?

The U.S. government takes tampering with evidence very seriously. A person who is convicted of the crime under federal law may face a prison sentence of not more than 20 years, a fine, or both. (18 U.S.C. ยง 1519.)

>turning 10 years into 30 years
>>
>>22226332
it's not evidence until there's an investigation
>>
For something that fires blanks? Lel, those fucking cartridges were shit that were fired from an old, old, old .22 single shot. I doubt anything I made could take 100 rounds. Are you the cunt patrol? The barrel has holes drilled in the side for gas expelled when a blank is fired.

Small scale black powder (matchhead) guns sound like a fun hobby.
A stick of incense for a mini matchlock mechanism fuse.
I'm thinking single bb, birdshot muskets, and coarse beach sand shotguns.
Run my own range on my desk, 2-4 feet long.
Thinking some drilled out gummy bears filled with "snap pops" could make for interesting reactive targets or a jello mold GI Joe.
Maybe a few lines of old Christmas lights and tails lights to break out like bottles.

I don't know man. I have this bad feeling about the whole deal.
I mean

>suddenly, nothing
>comes back a month later and seems depressed, starts talking about wild shit like killing himself and "sorting out business" or something like that
>goes god knows where in Cambodia(?) for reasons unknown
>some time later an anon posts a message from him

Also didn't his gf die or something? I immediately thought that his gf was killed in Cambodia or something and he went there to hunt the killers down, hence the "sorting out business" and got killed/jailed doing it. But then again I watch way too many movies.

And I really don't see why he would suddenly want to go anon. He was well liked and all.
>>
>>22228296
Has this been added to the collab image of Korbo's kommandos yet?
>>
>>22228873
He said something about "The woman the meant the most in my life is dead" Someone claimed he later said it was his sister. And she was somehow connected to Cambodia.
>>
>>22229258
His sister was robbed, beaten and raped in Cambodia and killed herself soon after coming back home because of it. This happened around the end of June and early July. I am assuming we are talking about the same guy here, too many coincidences to not be the same guy.

I bet you guys didn't know Wheat was a contributor in /lit/ and /ck/ too, though there he was just another anon. Used to Skype with him and some other anons about wines and preparing fish. Of course it is up to you whether you want to believe me or not.

Too bad he had to go the way he did.

Here are some black powder guns I made when I was like 12. They were fired like canons with old fireworks fuses. Although I later upgraded the big black one to a matchlock. I even managed to hunt some crows and pigeons with it. I typically just loaded it with 1 .44magnum case of black powder, a piece of cork or several layers of cardboard as a wad, then a .44magnum case of BBs and some crumpled up paper to keep it all in place.

Over all it was a bit weaker than a .410 but it worked.
If I had needed to hunt to survive, that piece of shit would have kept me alive.

The barrel on the big one is perilously thin copper plumbing tube. But I proof tested it and it held up, so I guess it was safer than it looked.

The barrel on the little one ismuch thicker, made of brass, and fires homemade 6mm lead slugs. The power is on par with a .22lr but it's insanely inaccurate and unpractical. I've only fired it like 5 times.

I lost the big one somewhere in the woods. I think I might still have the little one, but I can't remember where. I think I might have lost it in a move but I'm not sure.

Please excuse the shitty photo. It was taken about 10 years ago with a digital camera that was already old and obsolete.

Here is one of my schematics for an 'airsoft' AR 15 sentry gun.

Like I said, even though it has a recoil slide and is capable of controlling a real AR 15, it is of course only for Airsoft, and by using it on an actual firearm you are committing a felony.

Besides this mount (and eventually I'll post the pan+cabinet) you will need:
>arduino unit
>netbook
>webcam
>batteries
>possibly solar cells

Follow these instructions for the electronics side.
http://projectsentrygun.rudolphlabs.com/make-your-own

I will post detailed plans, as well as the gcode for anyone who wants to make it properly out of Al 7075
>>
>>22243254
Forgot to mention,

the gears aren't drawn correctly, they are just a ratio placeholder.

For all parts, (including high strength digital servos) it ends up costing ~$500 plus gun.
>>
>>22243272
Here is someones example of their paintball version. Their actual mount is too weak imo.

It's the same software, so it does demo what it can do.

u wot
>>
>>22243304

This would be a really fun project with a small .410 shotgun. Train it to shoot skeet.
>>
>>22244624
My recoil sled would need recalculated. Right now I have it so the spring would give it the perfect resistance so that a high pressure 5.56 wouldn't damage the set up. a .410 would probably need a tenser string.
>>
>>22243254
The mount on this is pretty sick. The front half slides on the lower rail on a quad rail, and it bolts to the rear section which is slid all the way on a milspec buffer tube. It's literally perfect for an AR 15.
>>
>>22244731

.410's actually have significantly less muzzle energy than a 5.56x45, so assuming you're using a semi-automatic shotgun (Hell, there are .410 AR-15 uppers if you want), it might not require it.
>>
>>22244828
Hm this is a possibility. Airsoft .410 uppers that is.

Unless it's an illegal AOW, keep it as a shelf/conversation piece.

Does anyone have an ATF letter that says open bolt single-shot guns are not MG's?

Some are, some aren't. It all depends on whether or not it would be easy to convert them to magazine feed. For example if you made a STEN without the magazine cut out it would still be an MG. But if you made your own design and it was clear you never intended it to be magazine fed (no feed ramp, no magazine clearing on the bolt ect...) they're usually OK with it. There are like 4 guys on Weaponsguild and the Homegunsmith forums that have gotten theirs approved by the authorities.
