Tell me about the type 81
>>34227771
I think that it is a rifle
>>34227771
A rifle I'm going to have to smuggle in from Canada inside my anus.
Neat rifles. Kind of expensive though

Throws mud at it.
>>34227653
Get out of here Glock, you aren't relevant anymore. Even the Hi Point is better than you.
>>34227659
It's Super Effective!
Has anyone actually preordered this shit?
This what that nigger Nicholas wrote a year ago. I do t have Facebook so I can't post a better quality
>>34227402
HAHAHAHAHAHAHA
>>34227402
Not to defend them because I don't care either way but delays will turn out better in the long run than releasing a shitty initial product.
Hey /k/. I wanna be a spook (preferably CIA, but an agency will work) Where do I go? Is there a spook-academy? Should I go into the armed forces first?
>general spook thread
Nice try Russia
Why would you want to be a spook? Being white is so much better.
>>34227228
>Hey /k/. I wanna be a spook
Try Chicago
Yunnan baiyao. This shit will save your life. If your stabbed or shot and there is internal bleeding pop the Red Pill. Clear the wound as much as possible and apply the power. Powder is a blood coagulant to keep you from bleeding out. There are reports of Vietcong shot in the stomach poping the red pill and dousing the wound with the power. Some narcotics to kill the pain, and they were ready to keep fighting within minutes. A must have for all first aid kits. Fair waning though, DO NOT pop the red pill unless you are bleeding out. You can use the powder on all kinds of bleeding wounds.
>>34227148
the nascent iodine not working for you?
>>34227186
Iodine does not stop bleeding...
I'd prefer Woundseal, only $8.50 for 4 packs. I've used it before and works pretty good.

Would pirate or sailors ever get a second longer saber to go with their cutlass so they had a cutlass on the boat and then a saber on the land so they didn't have a reach disadvantage?
>>34227108
Why not use a pistol?
>>34227169
wet powder
>>34227183
Keep your powder dry then, getting it wet is a flogging offense.
I've kept my grandfather's M1 carbine completely stock and decided to not add the scout red-dot scope and just use the iron sites. Anyone modified their vintage carbine with modern goodies?
>>34227075
>not sure if breddy gud or absolutely disgusting
>>34227075
NYET carbine is fine.
>pronouncing it "car-bean"
It's "car-bean"
Like carbide or combine
Learn to read you fucks.
/k/ I just picked up this 68" longbow. How do I into archery lifestyle?
>>34227048
I'm rocking a 62" 55# Recurve. What weight is your bow and do you have anywhere to use it?
>>34227048
like any other projectile really...go out with it and start practicing. I need to go out with mine again my self lol
>>34227086
It's a 50lb draw. I can shoot it in my yard.
Is the MP5SD's integrated suppressor shitty compared to the new expensive suppressors? in terms of sound reduction.
how much dB does an MP5SD produce? (i can't seem to find any data online)
i read that an MP5SD is so quiet that you only hear the action, whether you use supersonic or subsonic 9mm, is this true?
It's still pretty good, since it also vents and expands enough gas to turn supersonic ammo into subsonic before leaving the suppressor.
>>34226856
The MP5SD is designed to work with standard super-sonic 9mm. the barrel is ventilated to slow the round down to sub sonic before it even reaches the suppressor. I don't know the data on it, but let's just say they are quiet.
An integral suppressor is going to be better than a detachable one and an automatic or semi-automatic action is always going to be noisier than a manual action.
Can we have an MP5 thread?
>sure
>>34226787
yaaasssssss
Why were we sending billions of dollars worth of equipment to the Soviets and UK in WW2 when our marines were still equipped with bolt-action Springfield rifles?
Because the marines weren't fighting the Germans. The jews prioritized the Germans as the top threat, so everyone fighting the top threat needed the best and most.
>>34226686
Because they preferred them as simple, reliable, proven weapons. They tested Garands and found they did not work when immersed in sand and sea water.
>>34226740
But they had mediocre stuff like BARs and Shermans, few SMGs until the cheap Grease Gun, had to haul a Browning MG and tripod around etc.
just how hard is it for an attack helicopter to spot and engage some infantry units with AA like pic related, considering they're in forested or heavily built urban areas?
Well, attack helicopters have infrared cameras and conceivably out-range MANPADS.
Is there an actual number for AH-64's lost to MANPADS?
>>34226676
Hard if the ground shooter is concealed.
>>34226702
Waiting in concealment until point blank against helicopters has been a successful technique for various kinds of irregular anti-air attacks. The downside is that the shooter is dead if there are more helicopters near that aren't shot down, or if the shooter can't relocate before reenforcement (more helicopters/infantry/missiles) hit their slocation.
If I stumbled across one of the original ones that still had amphetamines in it, would it be illegal to own it as long as I didn't eat any?
Scho ka kola never had amphetamines.
>>34226684
I see that claim everywhere though.
>>34227769
I see claims that airliners spew magical chemtrails and that nazis live in the hollow earth, that doesn't make them true.
So what's the point of these things?
There are major problems and fuck-ups with the EMALS system, the arrestor system and electrical power systems.
Thay are hugely expensive and highly vulnerable to weapons which America's potential adversaries have in abundance.
They look impressive and are used to fly the flag around the world but in reality are only good for bombing Third World countries. In any serious war they will be kept well out of range of the enemies, aircraft, missiles, mines and subs and will therefore be effectively useless along with their vastly expensive escort fleets.

I think there's two entirely separate issues here. Or maybe three.
First is the usefulness of the super-carrier in general. I haven't got a clue.
Then there's the issue of having all these new systems introduced all at once. I'm not sure it's such a bad idea really, at the moment at least. Sure, that one ship is most likely going to be delayed, expensive, and with a lot of Gremlins running around. But assuming you do want a future carrier force you'll need to update your tech at some point, so since WW3 isn't in full swing at the moment, maybe you may as well get it all out through the door in one go?
And finally regardless of how good or bad idea the ship is, the development and building can of course have been horribly mismanaged.
>>34226576
Jesus fucking christ, what an ignorant post.

Oh I see, you're a retarded chimp. Do us a favor and kill yourself.
>>34226576
>There are major problems and fuck-ups with the EMALS system, the arrestor system and electrical power systems.
A natural thing with all new tech, but there's no comparison between steam and EMALS.
>Thay are hugely expensive and highly vulnerable to weapons which America's potential adversaries have in abundance.
Same as every other warship.
>They look impressive and are used to fly the flag around the world but in reality are only good for bombing Third World countries. Personal assertion.
