Explain yourself anon and stop being such a little bitch glocks are literally the leggo of the gun world just stick stuff together till it fits
>>34240186
This has to be bait, and it has to be bad bait, because how can you fuck up assembling the slide of a Glock? I could understand if you pulled the guts out without the understanding to put them back together MAYBE, but the slide? It's literally idiot proof.
Welcome to Glocktalkā¢. If you were looking for Cocktalk, I will be with you shortly. Otherwise, please state your problem in a clear voice, in one sentence.

How should one walk to discourage potential attackers from trying anything?
>>34240065
Head up, shoulders back and with confidence. Like a man basically.
>>34240065
270 scan to the front every 10 or so seconds. Check rear every 20/30 seconds
And what the other guy said. Except also keep your shoulders lowered, people who hike their shoulders up look weird
>>34240073
>>34240107
Both of these things but mainly the confidence part.
If you act like you belong there and know what you are doing than other people will believe that.
In all honesty, what is of better quality:
>Poverty tier akm
>Russian sks
>>34239963
Feel like the SKS is a better choice because you can actually buy them with all their original parts. Not like AKs that get modified for import, and then remodified back to their old setup, save for the full auto.
>>34239963
depends on what you're looking for. all the metal parts on the sks are milled. the cheaper aks will have a stamped receiver which will start to fail at around 100k rounds. a lot of the cheaper aks made in the us dont have chf chrome lined barrels either. it'll never matter for most people though unless you're shooting a shit ton
>>34239963
SKS is higher quality but less practical
>HK is the best gunmaker ever
>HK makes the best AR known to man
>the piston makes it the best
>muh ballistics
>the price is fair because you pay for the best
>do you even KNOW what the piston does for the ballistics?
>THE BALLISTICS
>CHECK THE BALLISTICS
>best rifle ever made
>US military is adopting the MP9 so HK is best
>BALLISTICS
so /k/, share YOUR tales of meeting fanboys IRL
>people who think HKs are expensive in the slightest
>>34239959
>he thinks another brand is better than HK
HK makes some nice firearms. So do quite a few companies.
Anyone else have a pet for personal protection?
This is my dog, he is a good dog that happens to like protecting my property and of me. This is good because i can trust he will protect my shit while im gone and me when i cant carry a weapon.
I didnt get him to protect me but it happens that he is naturally protective and ive worked that out of him more and more with positive reinforcement.
>>34239858
Man my rotts ended up that way too. I keep em real separate from everyone, I don't wanna risk my fuzzy babies getting put down over biting some urban bard.
>>34239858
You need one of these dudes for protection.
>the ATF agent's look of horror when he realizes your dog isn't a dog
>>34239858
Dogs are alarms. Watchdogs. It's up to you to protect them. They only sound the alarm.
99% of time if a dog protects it's owner it's out of self preservation. Or the dog is unhinged. Real attack dogs require an attack command.
So defend yourself you cunt. He is "protective" of you because he's assessed you. Your dog feels like he's the Alpha, and you're the beta. That's why he's protective.
I currently have a Benchmade Griptilian 551 that is the completely barebones model. I love the thing but I'm looking for something that is a bit smaller and has a deep carry clip. I have my eye on the Benchmade Valet because of the size, clip, and higher quality steel.
Does anyone have one and want to share their opinion, or have any better suggestions?
>>34239802
spending over 20$ on a folding knife is retarded, no matter how high quality, a folding joint(of any type or material) will alway be worse then a fixed blade with a tang. You should toss a folding knife as soon as it losses it edge.
>>34239802
Benchmade makes good knives. I prefer their G10 and Aluminum handled knives to their plastic ones.
t. guy who owns some

what does true love look like /k/?
>>34239666
He's gonna want give that barrel a good wipe down.
>>34239666
>take a rifle, almost any rifle
>place your left hand along the bottom of the stock
>lean it into your shoulder
>take your right hand and place it across the top of the action or anywhere midway up the rifle where it is comfy
>pull the rifle with your right hand in more
>rest your head on the rifle
Best when done leaning against a large, shady tree on a warm spring day on the banks of a small babbling brook where the forest gives way to a small meadow and the stream.
Purest love is making sure the rifle knows that it is loved.

>implying Dunkirk was not the first of many strategic full on blunders that Germany committed.
I mean... I don't even understand German high command. They have the brits and French by the balls and they just let go.
>>34239529
Easy, it's a federal crime in most European nations to portray the Third Reich as anything but the most evil moustache-twirling villains, or else you are arrested and charged with promoting Nazi ideals.
Historical accuracy takes a back seat.
WHAT IS WRONG WITH THIS FUCKING PLANE?
>>34239520
>What's wrong with this fucking plane?
Nothing. Just a malfunction of a part that can be easily replaced. This will be fixed in less than a week.
None of them have crashed into your house.

Don't reply to bait
Been a while since i seen one here.
Ok, i live in a cucked country in south america with shit laws and no carry, crime is everywhere and thieves do whatever they want with you, cops are useless and criminals are released from jail every day.
Therefore i have decided to say fuck it, regarding the prohibition to carry laws and do it anyway.
I have been looking at my local gun store for guns that are suitable to carry on a daily basis.
I already have a bersa 380 thunder plus, with some clothes it fits just right to me with other ones not so much, it just prints too much and therefore is unsuitable.
I also have a webley revolver but i don't think its worth carrying.
I have been on my gun store looking for compact guns and i have seen the guns they have to offer with that purpose and they offered me a Thunder 9 Ultra Compact Pro, but ot stills prints too much, im very concerned about that, so he sugested a BP9CC which is a good gun but im concerned with low cap, 8+1.
So im considering the Revolvers they had there, i was a Taurus 85B2ULFS of 38 spl and i saw another Taurus of 357 that was just a bit larger of the barrel, maybe if the first one was 2 inches, this had a 3 inches barrel.
I am between this guns, but i havent picked one, and still it would take some time until i manage to gather enough money to buy one.
I am open to advices and sugestions.
>>34239415
change your wardrobe not the gun if you are worried about printing
>>34239415
If youve got the Bersa, clearly carry that one.
If you feel that isn't enough boom, save for the .357. If it's too much recoil, you can put a .38 Special in it. There are some .38 Special +Ps out there that are approaching lower .357 loads.
Sorry your country is a shithole. If it gets too bad, try to move to a safer area. Guns can only protect you so much. (Shit, did I just say that?)
>>34239448
I may also change, but i would like a gun for both kind of wardrobe, printing is a bitch.
>>34239542
Would a 357 fit just right, i mean the snub 38 fitted my pocket when i tested, but idk if the 357 will also fit it. with just a inch more or if it is too much, also the clerk discouraged the 357 because he said "it will leave you deaf and blind", is he right and a 38 would be better or he is bullshiting me?.
Also about moving im trying to persuade my family to move to the States, if we get lucky and we get enough money to move comfortably, my father has some schemes going around that could lead to being wealthy enough for it, i hope i get lucky.
How do you quick draw and fire a single action if it's decocked in the holster? Is there a method or is it something western movies just overlook?
>>34239377
You cock it as you draw it? I know this gets thrown around a lot, but are you actually autistic?
>>34239377
black magic, its something all cowboy and bandits in the west know
>>34239384
No need be like that, I'm asking if that's the case. Is it a single motion that people usually do with one hand as they draw it?

I might have an opportunity to pick up a lightly used .270 bolt action for cheap... Is it worth going in on, or would I be better off picking up a 30-06?
>>34239212
It's not a meme you mongoloid, but the .270 is a capable cartridge that is a little faster and uses somewhat lighter bullets. It can't be loaded as heavy as the 30-06 but it also does better with light weight hollow points.
Is asking if something is a meme a meme?
>>34239285
What would I want to use these lighter-weight rounds on? Smaller game?
