Why has, since pic related "failed", the US military stuck with tall as fuck IFVs and APCs?
>>34251914
Because combat by trial for small IFVs like the BMP has shown them to be highly vulnerable to mines due to their low profiles keeping the occupants near the detonation point. That is a bad thing when your primary opponent specialises in their use.
US armour is crap, always has been. It's American doctrine to spend every penny on having an air force and navy that makes the rest of the world look like a joke, which can compensate for crappy armour.
>>34251923
Then have something with adjustable suspension and up armor kits for the belly? M113's were just as bad back in vietnam. Bradleys are still shit. You're doing something seriously wrong if you're not demining/clearing routes before sending in mechanized infantry
Which is the best kind of holster and what should l get for my beretta 92fs? What do you use?
>>34251860
Blue line concealment makes a IWB and OWB for a decent price. I don't own them so I can't properly review them, but I've heard good things.

Thanks and truth to kydex snapping or is that just rumors?
For OWB there is no other option than safariland ALS. I was a patrol officer for 6 years and went through about every duty holster on the market before I found the perfection that is the ALS.
Thin kydex will indeed crack or snap in cold temperatures or with high shock.
For IWB, just about any reputable kydex manufacturer will work just fine. I am partial to PJ holsters. I can't stand leather holsters or hybrids but I guess that just comes down to personal preference.
Is there anything in particular you are looking for? What are your needs?
Post the most gangsta gun.
Tech nine, homie!

How is my family? What do I get next? I'm thinking an AK such as a PSAK-47
>MP15 sport II
>870 tactical
>VP9
>>34251529
US made AK's suck. Parts kit, WASR, older imports, or Arsenal.
>>34251618
The PSA gen2 AKMs are good though, go watch Rob Ski's video on them.
>>34251634
>muh Robski video
Yeah and a bunch of people had issues with them after that. Seriously, go to the fucking /akg/, we deal with you morons every fucking day. They're still shit and the QC is shit. Fuck off
Is this the perfect weapon, /k/?
Russians didn't seem to think so.
we'll never know because, like every ak74m replacement, it will be produced in batches of 30 and used by a single special forces unit in siberia and never exported ever.
>>34251464
Looks like HK made their own AK variant.
>that one Anon who owns that gun you want but no one carries it, no one sells it, and no one ever will
ANON, PLEASE. TELL ME WHERE YOU GOT IT.
You can get a CZ P-01 anywhere, though.
>>34251494
I didn't mean to post that one, I meant to post this one.
It's a compact that seems to be some sort of proto P-01. It was sold for a while, and they haven't produced them since. You literally can't find it fucking anywhere.
Martin?
Need help /k/. I may have to move to NJ for about two years for my job. I have grown up and always lived in based gun states. What can I expect as far as my funs are concerned if I have to go there? I'm guessing no AR's, but what about pistols?
>>34251284
Pls help Anons. I don't know what to do with my firearms
Move to Pennsylvania and commute.

Does /k/ know how to read a map?
When have you found this skill useful?
My colonel said that losing your map is as bad as losing your rifle.
Has a map ever saved your life?
>>34250819
It's a good thing to know where you are and how to get to where you want to go innawoods, OP.
>>34250819
when I was in jrotc we did land nav courses and challenges over the summer
easy as fuck if you have two brain cells to rub together, to this day I still don't understand why some people can't read maps. It's literally
>find where you are
>use your compass and see where north is
>find where you want to go
>get fucking going
admittedly they teach you all this complicated shit about paces and heading but honestly you're better off just following landmarks and elevation
If I blind folded someone and dropped them where I live with a map and compass they would die.
What firearm/firearm accessory manufacturer or retailer pisses you off the most?
Tapco, I guess.
>>34250806
BCM aka "we'll only do keymod" for being slow with mlok
Pro Mag has always rubbed me the wrong way.
Albeit they do offer cheap options for some things that are exorbitantly expensive and/or unobtainium (i.e. HK 93 magazines)

how many mags per man. Also kill yourself
I wasn't coherent to understand the 1994 AWB at the time.
What was the gun buying atmosphere like? Lots of weird AWB compliant ARs? Panic buying?
>>34250466
Bump. Would like to know. I was only 12 and too busy playing with my SNES and my parents wouldn't even let me have a BB gun.
>>34250466
No, colt and bushmaster were the only AR available. They just had 10rd mag, no bayolug, or colapsable stock. Sks and Sporterized wasr were popular. Glocks and the like, came new with 10rd mags if bought new. Pre ban stuff was a big deal.
Imagine how fucking crazy /k/ would be if it existed when bush let the AWB die. There would be champagne, dancing, partying in the streets. 9mmfags would literally be crying tears of joy
I'm poor, trying to figure out which I should buy first. Pistol or Rifle.
Pistol will be CZ P-07, Rifle will be AMD-63 (the one with thr traditional stock.
Eventually I'll get both, but right now I need to choose which to get first. I don't have a CHL so I can't carry the pistol on my person.
>>34250203
P-07
Its your duty as an American to own a rifle to defend your country against enemies foreign and domestic. Get a rifle first.
>>34250203
IMO, get the rifle first, the pistol will probably always be in stock for a reasonable constant price. the same cant be said for the rifle.
Need some help identifying what kind of bayonet this is. Found in my garage, has some blood stains on the blade. Thanks ahead of time

Massachusetts reporting in.
Only own a Parker Enforcer crossbow. Trying to get my LTC but need an affidavit before I can apply for my license to be able to buy and own shotguns and rifles (FID/LTC), because I went to the hospital for OCD when I was a minor and that's grounds for disqualification on my allowed to own guns card application.
Can't move. Poor as shit and have family and friends here.
New Jersey nofuns here.
Once I move to AK (military) and get my residence changed I'm planning to change that.
every house has a shotgun, rifle and a 4wheel drive
I haven't made one for MS yet. Ole Miss and Faulkner are going to feature though.
Give me the run down on this company. Are their guns good or shit?
idk. i dont own a gun
Walther P22 was notoriously known for frequent jams and unreliability. That was some time ago, not sure how it is now.
>>34249815
its a joke of a company and a shell of its previous self. at this point in time its basically a namebadge for umarex airsoft quality guns
