The pressure increase with +P rounds is only a 10-15% increase, suck it up and buy the +P ones. The extra kick won't matter when the adrenaline kicks in anyway. If you absolutely must use standard pressure loads then look into rounds loaded with with Lehigh's Extreme Penetrators.

Make a chamber casting, having forest cleaned the living FUCK out of the chamber with a brass brush.

Okay, I know he cleaned it when he bought it and multiple times since the last range trip, but I'll let him know.

I'm not sure how they looked when he first shot it as I don't have a casing from then, this was from the last time out. It was Winchester 54R that is the casing in the picture. That time out, we both took care to not do that when we shot, but it could have still happened anyway I suppose. I have another pic, but I'll let him know what you said. Thanks Anon.
