Holy fuck.
I've been trying for hours to remove my KA FAL muzzle thing so I can replace the front sights and it doesn't come off. The manual says you have to unscrew the fucker but after 1/8th of a turn it just won't move.
Can any airsoftfag or gunsmith help a brother out?
>>34269118
It is probably glued on there. Take a heat gun to it to melt off some of the glue and then unscrew it.
>>34269246
I don't have a heat gun at hand. Might buy one tomorrow at first light. Any other solutions?
Take some needlenose and tear the fucker apart. Had to do that for my scar
Anyone converted a nu-sig into an SG 543 clone or similar? Say on a 551 semi lower?
any one remember that news story about some black dude who survived ied explosions only for a sargent to shoot the guy in the neck, when the sgt was drunk leaving him paralized
The unit thought the black guy was going to die to covered it up and the Srgent got off scout free.
I was wondering what happened to the black dude

Would 7.62x39 kill the HPA, hypothetically speaking? Say you shot a bunch of times in the chest with an SKS, would that end the bill?
They only temporarily postponed the hearing on a variation of the HPA, a separate piece of legislation IIRC.
No but the ol 3006 retroactively already killed everything in North America.

Truck gun thread, let's start the endless debate over the merits of it and post your guns faggots
I can get a SMLE No. 1 Mk 3 for $225. Bore is good. The stock has been replaced by a plastic one, but that's the only modification that I can see (though I'm not too experienced with SMLEs, so take it as you will). Would this be a good buy? What should I look out for? I wish I had gotten a pic; that was dumb of me not to.

What can you tell me about the SL6, /k/? Is it a very good rifle? Also, what kind of pouches would best fit the 10rd Magazine for it?
>>34268411
Also, I am aware of the exorbitant price on these guns and their magazines, so let's not take that into account.
>>34268411
Local Cabelas wanted $2000 for one. I'd wager most anons don't know what it is. You should check hkpro forums.

Only dealt with one example, owned by a friend , long ago.
Was well made, had an odd jarring recoil, was accurate enough.
He only had two mags, one in the piece, one in a coat pocket.
I remember saying "Wow, if this took G-3 mags, it'd be neat".. He said "Yeah, and then I'd have bought a '91 instead of this".
Gene was always a bit of a 'tech fudd.
Why aren't there more take down guns, /k/? Shotguns in particular. The ability to store a long gun in a smaller form for easy carry seems like something that should be immensely desirable.
>that finish
Fuck, I really need to get my M1897 refinished...
Less stable receiver and high pressure=BOOM

Is it safe to buy AR15 parts from 3rd party sites rather than manufacturer sites? For example, I can get an Aero enhanced upper for like $60 less on a 3rd party site. Is it better to do that or buy straight from the manufacturer? Do you people have any experience with this?
>>34267839
Ya its totally normal. Some other sellers sell below msrp to drive traffic to their sites. You got to understand that they get the parts in bulk hence they pay way lower than we ever will.
>>34267839
Depends on the third party site youre talking about

How much should a used HK USP45 cost? Found some good deals and would like to know if they're actually good.
>>34267398
anywhere from 600-900 depending on condition, model, etc
about $600
more if its unfired or comes with a bunch of mags
My USP45 LEM cost $540
>>34267405
You can get a new one for 900 you daft goat fucking faggot
What should I mount on my MKII?
Budget of ~$50
what ever is cheapest. rim fire is for shooting paper targets after all.
Duck tape a laser pointer on it and buy $45 of ammo
>>34267306
what are you doing with it?
3-9x is considered pretty standard on general purpose and plinking .22s
4-12x would be my choice for general plinking and bench shooting
22x/33x are basically for dedicated bench guns, you'll have an advantage if you shoot bench rimfire matches
Remeber to get a rimfire scope or a scope with an adjustable parallax, as most centerfire scopes have the parallax set at 75 or 100 yards
