I've been trying for hours to remove my KA FAL muzzle thing so I can replace the front sights and it doesn't come off. The manual says you have to unscrew the fucker but after 1/8th of a turn it just won't move.
Can any airsoftfag or gunsmith help a brother out?

It is probably glued on there. Take a heat gun to it to melt off some of the glue and then unscrew it.

I can get a SMLE No. 1 Mk 3 for $225. Bore is good. The stock has been replaced by a plastic one, but that's the only modification that I can see (though I'm not too experienced with SMLEs, so take it as you will). Would this be a good buy? What should I look out for? I wish I had gotten a pic; that was dumb of me not to.

Only dealt with one example, owned by a friend , long ago.
Was well made, had an odd jarring recoil, was accurate enough.
He only had two mags, one in the piece, one in a coat pocket.

Is it safe to buy AR15 parts from 3rd party sites rather than manufacturer sites? For example, I can get an Aero enhanced upper for like $60 less on a 3rd party site. Is it better to do that or buy straight from the manufacturer? Do you people have any experience with this?

3-9x is considered pretty standard on general purpose and plinking .22s
4-12x would be my choice for general plinking and bench shooting
22x/33x are basically for dedicated bench guns, you'll have an advantage if you shoot bench rimfire matches
Remeber to get a rimfire scope or a scope with an adjustable parallax, as most centerfire scopes have the parallax set at 75 or 100 yards
