What is /k/'s opinion on P10C? How does it compare to XDMs and Glocks?
>>34281893
Bro, half of /k/ doesn't even own guns, and the other 90% hasn't seen this gun yet because its a unicorn right now.
>>34281893
Get a 75BD.
Most aesthetic non block gun you can ever find
>pic related is what it feels to shoot one
>easy and ready
>>34281893
Trigger is listed at 4-45.lbs. Great for a range, comp, or home defense gun, but maybe too light to keep a police department happy.
What are some of the most aesthetic concealed carry guns?
>>34281770
Bersa Thunder
>>34281784
You fuckers slid QTDDTOT. Questions that dont deserve their own thread go here.
I'll start: How do you comfortably hold an M60 when carrying it? the beltbox digs in to your lower abdomen for right handed people and the gun doesnt exactly lend itself to use from the left because of the ejection, does it not?
Is there any way of holding the pig comfortably with a hand on the pistol grip?
>>34281738
Most pictures from nam have soldiers ditching the box altogether.
>dont know weather to join PSNI or british army
>also fat
how do i chose? they both seem like really good jobs desu
Is this the most disappointing weapon of all time?
>>34281693
Still better than metal storm.
>>34281697
Heh, I forgot about that.
What about the XM-25
Shit guns.
>Grab your most crappy gun.
>Take a picture of it.
>Post the picture.
>Win fabulous prizes.

Whats so bad about you peestole? It legit looks good to me.
>you are now imagining a rohm .22 short
it's so shitty I can't justify getting it out of the safe to photograph. Too much effort
>>34281508
Not sure which one is worse. The saturday night special stripper gun is a pile of shit but it bangs everytime. Its never jammed. Cant say the same about czechnology.
Press F to pay respects to Swiss gun laws that were ruined by the EU
>>34281466
So this means more expatriated milsurp right? This makes my C&R moist.
But nothing has happened as of yet
>>34281466
They're not apart of the EU lol. Why would they need to adhere to Commie gun laws? Just pull a Poland, and tell them to fuck themselves. At least the Swiss have the German money hostage.
>Gun A looks fantastic and is easier to take down
>Gun B fits far better in my hand
>>34281462
>Always wanted a Beretta 92fs because videogames and Die-Hard
>Get one
>Don't like the way the grip feels, it's too large for my baby hands
>Trade it off for a Colt Gold Cup
>Fits my hand better
Some dreams just don't play out fami.
>>34281472
>Berettas feel great in my hand but are a meh gun (despite looking fine)
>feel a 1911 for the first time
>it's fucking tiny
>>34281472
>>34281480
Same boat.
>lewdly exposed barrel
>curve slides
>rent one on range
>trigger sucks was pretty meh
>shot better with USP
I just want a lewd gun
Why do guide guns tend to fire big bore, low velocity cartridges like 45-70 as opposed to medium bore, high velocity cartridges like 30-06? Is it because of the inherent velocity limitations of a short barrel? Also, if caliber is more important than velocity, why not use a 50 Beowulf?
Also, why do they tend to be lever actions? Why not use a semi-automatic?
>>34281459
Because you don't want something that will be easily deflected by brush and undergrowth on the way to the target.
>>34281465
I've heard that's just fuddlore.
>>34281459
Because guide guns are for fags who want to be a pretend cowboy
Are there any cross dominant shooters here? I'm left eye dominant and right handed, any tips for shooting with the right eye? I want to because there's pretty much nothing for lefties and all the ambi options for AR-15s suck or are stupid expensive.
When I did the test I thought I was cross dominant but at the range I shoot better right handed.
JUST CLOSE YOUR FUCKING LEFT EYE. JESUS FUCKING CHRIST WHY IS THIS NOT OBVIOUS TO YOU?
>>34281440
It isn't hard.
For rifle optics I just need to close my left eye a little bit for my brain to switch to my right eye. In addition I also have an astigmatism so I use etched reticle dots and scopes anyway which makes it easier.
For pistols I just slightly cant my head Big Boss style.
I am looking for an .22 lr bolt action rifle with these features:
-Affordable
-Threaded 16" barrel - (to leave open the option of getting a silencer down the line without making the overall rifle longcat as fuck)
-Accurate
I'm considering the Savage Mark II FV-SR but are there any that I should be looking at?
Ruger American. I sold my savage after buying this and like plinking with irons.
Is there such a thing as a .22lr anything that isn't affordable?
>>34281435
First time I think I've seen cabelas put up a gun of the week sale that wasn't still awful.
Hey, /k/. I haven't gone shooting in a while, not since before that new ATF letter clarifying pistol braces. Are ranges letting people shoulder their braces now or do I still have keep pretending this is a """"pistol""""?
>>34281393
fuck man, shouldn't have said "pretending", say goodby to doggo while you still can...
bampu
do people actually do this or no?
we have no idea what you're talking about
please try another place with your question
I need your advice /k/. I collect antique knives and swords as a hobby. In my collection, I have a saber from the American Civil War, two German sabers from WW1 and WW2, an M3 combat knife, and a Hitler Youth knife. These have been passed down to specifically to me, or I've bought them from family members that inherited them. My collection is humble but I enjoy it. However, I have a problem. I've got the itch to buy a katana, because I've never had the opportunity to get my hands on an Asian bladed weapon. I have zero intentions of buying a fedora and learning the way of the samurai. I'm torn between buying an antique one, or one that's modern but "authentic." I'm hesitant because authenticity is the most important thing. I don't want something forged by Chuck in his garage in Virginia. I also don't want to buy something that's supposed to be from X time period but turns out to be a replica. Money is pretty much no object, but I'm not going to buy something that's sitting on display in the Smithsonian for a gorillion dollars, I may be lucky enough to be well-off but I don't have James Bond villain money. I figure someone here must be able to steer me in the right direction.
>>34281349
>tl;dr
I would honestly be surprised if anybody here would be able to help you, even at this hour.
Still, /k/ has surprised me before. Expect lots of shitposting about weebs and etc. regardless
Pick a time period and a blade style and go from there. Use specific info when googling for info. Sword buyers guide .com is really good at reviews. Most commonly now you will find shinogizukuri blades but others are out there. I like iris style kissaki and aikuchi mounting, but there's a ton of traditional style blades out there.
The stock on this fictional gun, is there anything that exists that is similar?

that's an NYSAFE compliant stock

They were selling surplus t-55 engines here in Finland
Guy near me is selling his SIG P226 Mk25 in the original box, night sights, threaded barrel, and three Mec-Gar mags (two 18, one 20) for $850. Is that worth it? Gun looks to be in great condition and has minor holster wear. Gonna try it out tomorrow, but he's said it shoots perfectly.
(Not a pic of the gun)
>>34281065
if what you say is true, then yes its worth it. itd probably be over $1300 if you were to buy new
>>34281078
I mean, he's used it as a range toy, and I plan on inspecting it see if it has any major issues, but he insists it's in great condition.
If you're in the market for one I'd jump on it.
