Then it can't possibly be an F-35.
F-35 is a heap of shit. A very expensive heap of shit.

Vatniks and actual Muslims from Syria General on /pol/ are assblasted that an F/A-18 splashed a Syrian Su-22 recently. The Su-22 started bombing US-aligned Kurds that were busy attacking ISIS at the time.
Hey /k/rapmandos, long time no see, longer time no sperg. The reason for my visit is simple, attached is a picture of my fuck-tier warrior assault systems shit plate carrier that I bought for emergencies and working out. It is, as I mentioned, literally a bowl of horse dicks (and not in the good way), please recommend a better pc, price isn't really a problem. Also, I'm running steel not ceramic if anyone's thinking about plate pocket size.
Sincerely, guy who no one's sure about
Pig plate carrier

F-35 Performs Flying Display at Paris Air Show 2017

http://breakingdefense.com/2017/06/pilots-say-f-35-superior-within-visual-range-dogfight-criticisms-laid-to-rest/
>You can read what the flight demo is intended to demonstrate on the handout below. But I asked one of the Air Force pilots, Lt. Col. Scott “Cap” Guns, here whether the F-35 would win when fighting close-up with an enemy fighter. His answer was simple: “Without a doubt.” He told reporters at a briefing here that he had gone up against a friend in an F-16 a few months ago. Though the F-35 “performed very well,” he made clear that it hadn’t been dominant. They flew again recently and the F-16 pilot was amazed by the improvement in the F-35’s performance. “What have they done to your jet?” the pilot said, according to Cap. “The difference is we have learned how to fly the jet… and better understand where its advantages are.”
And so the Dunning-Kruger people quietly find a new things to bitch about while learning nothing.
That 3:35 move is impressive for how fat it is.
>>34300774
my wife is not fat!
>tfw you realize pocket guns are the ultimate defensive red pill
Lol full-size and compact fags - I hope you like constantly pulling your pants up like some inner city hood. .380 does the job just fine.
This thread is for the sole purpose of discussing pocket carry firearms and gear.
It's called a belt, try one some time OP.
>>34300069
>confirmed for never actually carrying
Howabout you fuck off back to your democrat controlled shithole and conjecture some more
>>34300049
Never had that issue with my pants.
It seems like the bullpup argument is starting to die down. We all know the pros and cons of either action positioning, but which one do you think will end up lasting, and why?
Also, why isn't there a bullpup version of the KRISS Vector? That thing is fucking chunky enough that being a bullpup might benefit it.
>>34299517
I think it'll just swing between the two forever. Bullpups may be dying, they'll be reborn one day after some technological advancement makes them good again.
doesn't the kriss vector have an unusual design where it feeds the rounds with some kind of curved feed ramp? i don't know the specifics off the top of my head, but i feel like it would be a bullpup if there weren't technical reasons preventing it
>>34299542
Kinda. It's mostly a recoil system that diverts the forces downward instead of directly back into the shooter's shoulder. It's really not all that complex, but there doesn't seem to be any reason for it to be in front of the trigger considering how tiny the barrel ends up being.
In a recent InRangeTV video they said something to the effect of "the DMR of the past is the standard infantry rifle of the future", but then to me militaries seem interested more and more in compact guns like the M4. So are they wrong?
I think they were just talking about the prevalence of optics and the recent push for a longer ranged caliber than 5.56. Perhaps Karl and Ian fancy the chances of 6.5 taking off.
>>34298549
>InRangeTV
Fucking Nutin gets more shit right than these closet fudge packers, anything that isn't Forgotten Weapons you should disregard PERIOD.
Name one military that isn't at least switching to a longer barrel rifle than 14.5 inches.
Has the helicopter conducting Air Assault operations made Airborne units obsolete? Why push a few dozen to around one hundred men out of a slow ass low flying plane when you can send in a few helicopters and land quickly? Does Airborne still serve a purpose? Or can helicopters and infantry fully replace them?
fast bump cause imma bitch
>>34298176
Because it's cool anon
> TFW Air Assault qualified, know it's way more useful in reality but still would prefer to jump
>>34298176
No, because if you to need to get a lot of boots on the ground in a hurry, airborne is a better way to do it.

How hard is joining the army really, /k/?
All my life i've been a pansy. I always avoid confrontation, i have self esteem issues, etc
But lately i've realized my life is going nowhere and society doesn't give a shit about me
So, if i'm going to die anyways, i'd rather die in combat serving someone
I'm kind of weak, I barely work out, and I'm pretty girly; but i like to think once i'm FORCED into something i can endure it pretty well
I'm 19 right now, and the plan is to finiish college and join the army
You sound like a self entitled moron. Join the marines, you'll do fine.
But seriously don't join the military expecting to be molded into something because you have to be. You need to WANT it if you plan to succeed.
You won't make it past reception with that attitude.
>>34297358
>hi i want to army :DDD

how /k/ is your family?

>>34297160
It's weird, none of them like guns but they don't hate them either. Dad was very neutral, and supported guns and gun rights just because he just hated antis with a passion. Mom was always scared of the house getting broken into for a couple years, so she was fine when I bought my first gun at 18. Sister never cared. None of them will ever own or shoot a gun personally. Current wife carries a Glock 26 with her almost everywhere.
>>34297160
Mother incredibly anti-fun, father alright with it and did background checks for me when I was underage (not a crime). He was never really into guns but does enjoy hunting.
Can an extremely competent lone wolf (see: Timothy Mcveigh on steroids and doesn't get caught) successfully pull off multiple large scale attacks to the point where he cripples a first world country?
i'm talking about him using VX nerve agents, radiological bombs, long range assassinating of officials..etc etc
>>34297147
outta here weeb.
>>34297147
nolol
that dude has to be at least tier 1 special forces for that to come anywhere close to possible. Possible means >0%.
No. You can only push so far before things get locked down and all eyes and ears are out for you.
Also, your pic is about a guy who can't die that easily + blood powers + he actually had help and manpower at his disposal
What kinds of firearms would be available in a post apocalyptic world?
All the ones that were available before the apocalypse. And more because people will loot government armories.
All of the ones available beforehand
the REAL question is what happens when the ammo runs out.
>>34296070
anything left over, in various stages of degrading condition jury rigged like some african ak-47s are
you wouldnt really see much in the way of pipe guns because they wouldnt have ammunition to shoot - instead you'd see rather dubious custom made ammunition, probably gone back to black powder being fired out of 9mm or .45cal and shotguns
which wont cycle the weapon, so they'd be single shot pills, but you would just rack the slide after each shot to load another from the magazine
however some of this stuff may just blow the weapon up too.
Check out the 80s movie "Cyborg" with Jean Claude Van Damme. They didnt use guns. Him and the gang leader instead had pneumatic air rifles with multiple barrels for single shots with crossbow bolts. Only 4 or 6 shots but thats better than nothing.
Somebody -might- start making Musket pipe rifles out of spare scrap pipes, of varying calibers, that and shotguns out of the larger tubes.
MAsshole reporting.
Can't move for the next few years soonest.
Currently waiting for an affidavit so I can apply for an "allowed to own guns card" because I was in the hospital for OCD as a minor.
Own a Parker Enforcer crossbow, have shot it 3 times so far and owned it 4 years now. Hands hurt whenever I do go to the range and I get exhausted after about 20 minutes, plus the scope is impossible to sight because I need a specific stance, due to it being a bow.
Share your situation, your guns, or the weapons you make do with since you can't own guns without castrating yourself with a spoon.
>>34295905
>an "allowed to own guns card"
Do you have to do this for fudd guns?
>>34295930
I have to do this for every gun.
If I want to buy and own a rifle and shotgun, I need an FID. Period. I can't even own a black powder if it has ammo, if I don't have an FID.
If I want rifles, shotguns and pistols, an LTC.
Also Fuddguns are some of the only MA guns aside from Tavor.
>I wonder who could be behind these laws?
Inna upstate NY
Safe act can fuck right off, if we got rid of that and the 10 round limit I can live with the stupid handgun licensing shit to keep Jennings away from Jamal.
It's gotta get repealed someday right....
I write my reps every month
Just got home from a local gun exhibition featuring a rep from SilencerCo. While waiting to shoot the Maxim 9 I inquired about the companies stance on tge HPA jokingly asking if they were "Hopeful or realistic about its chances"
The response I got was suprising, the rep informed me that he not only believes it will fail, but that he HOPES it won't pass. His reasoning was that if it passes suppressors will be too widely available and will become commonly used in crime, prompting a government crackdown that will put SilencerCo out of business.
He also stated that the NFA is a good system (with the exception of long wait times) and it's important to keep suppressors out of the hands of people not willing to do the paperwork and pay the fees.

Assuming this is all credible, it's not like he isn't being prudently cautious.

Keeping their little marketshare all to themselves
Isn't this why everybody's tits are in a twist over Springfield?
