Standing firewatch rn, if anyone steps through the bulkhead they're getting potato'd. How was your day, /k/?

How dark is it in there?

Trying to sleep. 11:30pm. Knock on the door. Grab AK, rack round. Approach the door. Still trying to sleep.

There are "spooky" things that go on there yes, but not the "spooky" underage /x/ posters think there are. It's real spooky shit, airframe tests, radar cross section tests, LADAR tests (Radar about to be obsolete.)
>>34299244
Wasn't this place declassified in the last couple of years?

Radar has been obsolete for

I can understand the Chinese and Russians training in the pacific as they both have ports there.
But I dont understand why the chinese would sail to the baltic to exercise, other than attempting to power project.
>>34299041
Balta is rightful Chinese clay.
>>34299041
Possibly to monitor western submarines tailing them?
>>34299041
Because they're trying to teach their crews how to operate that far away from mainland, maybe?
You know, the whole point of exercises like that?
>But they're training power projection.
Of course they are. All superpowers do.
Hey /k/ I found a old weight lifting plate made of steel, I was wondering if this would be safe to shoot at. It seems really thick and has no protruding edges. I got this out of old junk pile where more are sitting, and if it is safe then I can go back and get more free steel targets. Pic related.
It's probably cast. It might crack.
Just make sure you angle it to the side so you don't ricochet your shit. Also confirm it's steel all the way through. Some steel weights are actually full of concrete. If that's the case, you can just destroy it with gunfire.
>>34298974
>>34298978
this: very good chance you're just going to break it
which, I mean, hey, it's still a reactive target, right? :-p
Is it possible to purchase or convert a weapon that it is permanently blank fire only? Is it possible to do this and have full auto without breaking any laws or paying incredible amounts of money for a pre-ban sear or gun?
Weld the barrel shut.
>>34298835
1.) Yes
2.) I have no idea.
>>34298835
When I worked at a gun shop we had a reenactor bring in a GSG Sturmgewehr that our gunsmith converted to blanks only and fully automatic but I remember there was a lot of legal bullshit about it. He didn't get his gun back for nearly a year.
Day 1
Found this old journal off of some dead scavenger a few miles back. Body was a few weeks old at the least; the poor bastard stunk up the entire gas station I found him in. Only thing even slightly noteworthy was a few entries detailing the months directly after the ash came. Tore it all out and used it as tinder for the flames. No sense in remembering it all.
Day 2
Trekked northwards yet again. My best guess is that I crossed into Kansas about 30 minutes ago. Good. Those armed patrols in Texas and Oklahoma were beginning to worry me. Not too much longer and I'll be out of their reach for good.

Day 9
Met a woman a couple of days ago. Didn't talk much, just traded supplies and exchanged map details. Didn't get any writing done. She said there was a small band of raiders nearby, and that skinwalker sightings have only been rising. before we parted ways she asked where I was heading, and I only responded with a simple "Northeast". She nodded once and left just like that.
Day 11
She wasn't kidding. It's died down a little since I set up camp in this mechanic shop, but there's been a worrying amount of gunfire. I think it's getting fainter as time goes on, but I can only guess. The doors are barricaded and there's nothing but a few wrenches and scrap metal around, so I'll gamble for some sleep tonight.

More if you would please.
So /k/, how'd you feel about Non-Humans serving in the military and serving, fighting and operatin' alongside you?
I could care less. Although a cat who's eyebrows are on fire is going to be distracting
>>34298443
Like dogs? Because they already do.
>>34298443
Can they hold a gun, shoot accurately and id friend from foe?
If so, welcome to the terran armed forces.

>it just kinda sits there I guess?
>>34297977
It also fires guided bullets and is invisible to anyone who isn't a Stand user, what's up?
>>34297977
In this case, it's because it's not actually a gun. What The Emperor more or less is is a psychic manifestation of Whole Horse's ability to shoot mind bullets, and it's shaped like a gun because it requires the gesture to activate and can't fight on its own like, say, Star Platinum. What you're seeing is in no sense a gun, it's an impressionist psychic imitation of a gun.
>>34298012
Fucking weebs, it doesn't matter if it's imaginary, if I think of a revolver right now I'm going to think of something that has a functional cylinder

New loader here.

I have one... That's why I wanted the projectiles... The more of these I pull the more it's clear this person had zero clue what they were doing... Smashed necks, over crimped, and still like zero neck tension....
