What kind of things does /k/ wear on a daily basis? Does anybody unironically wear anything /k/ related like a Gorka jacket or milurp jacket in public?
I wear my Gorka jacket for when it is extremely windy and damp but not pouring.
I wear blue jeans and tshirts with sneakers. If its cold I'll wear a jean jacket or my m65. Wearing anything related to the chins in public is fucking retarded.
On a related note, I recently saw a rent-a-cop with a /k/ patch on his jacket, its hard enough to not laugh at them, and then he went and wore that.
>Own one pair of jeans that fit and aren't ripped to pieces
>All other pants are camo milsurp of varying nationality
>tshirts as the norm, including a 'Murika /k/ tshirt
>Wear various BDU tops with the jeans
>Generally avoid wearing more than one piece of milsurp/camo in any given outfit
>Have a full set of normal and milsurp fall and winter gear
>Sewed a /k/ patch on my Austrian M65 in a fit of madness long ago, continue to wear it anyway
>Borderline grotesquely tall and lanky
>Have embraced the cringe

I readily bid on auctions for the sole purpose of raising the price. Sometimes I also take two boxes of similar pistol ammo and switch out the boolits and boxes so someone buying 9x19mm is actually getting 9x18mm etc.

Explain why the Japanese dumped 6.5 mm for 7.7 mm full power. But /k/ says NATO should have gone for .280 British,
And now our military wants 6.5?
What gives?

The common thought at the time was that intermediate and medium sized rifle calibers did not have the range required for battle. At the time they didnt know most engagements took place at under a few hundred yards

What would a modern Maginot line look like?
Will large scale fortifications every make a comeback?
A huge stack of sanctions.
No.

No.

Pic related is what a modern line of fortifications looks like.
Something magical has to eliminate air power for the kind of forts you're talking about to make a comeback.

>What the fuck is Ashlands and why are you posting writefaggotry in /k/?
Ashlands is a /k/ based writefag general based on the universe and world if the Yellowstone volcano were to erupt. Science and logic is thrown out the window in favor of a /k/ paradise.
>Why is it on /k/ and not something else?
Because Ashlands is a combination of staple /k/ vidya like the Metro series. Falloutfags gfto.
>Can I participate?
Yes. Read what others have wrote and try to keep it in the same universe. The best way to do this is to consult the map and wikia when you've decided on your location. Just keep the factions all in-line and there won't be confusion.
>Map updates:
The map has been changed to fit the current factions. Next update will include an expansion of the Appalachian Defense Force since mountain men have a totally different culture then the coastal people, something I had not considered when setting the territory initially.
Also someone post the discord.

All writing is welcome, even if it's only tangentially related to /k/.
Give thanks to Polybus and Archivefag for keeping /wfg/ afloat.
It's been unscientifically proven that a lack of (you)s for writers can lead depression, alcoholism, story abandonment, and an hero.
But it's so easy to make a difference in a writer's life. Just one (you) a day can make the difference between a happy writer and a writer on permanent hiatus.
Please, post now. Help make a writer's day.

The replacement bolt was a new MFG Fulton, because they MPI them and use better grade steels than the originals.

Can i not even read about starwars without some candyass telling me how bad guns are?
Gotta push that agenda whenever possible bruh. Soros won't pay me otherwise.
That's pretty lazy on the part of the weapon designers.
Compact and high capacity but it seems like it takes about 20 rounds to put a ((JAFFA)) down.
>>34346721
20 of the super rounds, in the original movie they were tanks.
>>34346721
Should have seen how many rounds it took to down a Jaffa when they had MP5's. Best they can do in such a compact package.
>>34346721
its because it looks cool and the show was on a budget. Same reason why battlestar galatica used the five se7en or the x files used the steyer AUG a lot
