In for low blood sugars.
Best Mark coming through.
Nice thread anon
So ISIS in a controlled explosion scorched earthed the 800+ year old Zinki mosque. They half assed tried to say "American jets did it" but the truth is super obvious. They didn't want to suffer the butthurt of some grinning Iraqi soldier standing exactly where Baghdadi did 3 years ago. Saladin rallied his troops there back in the day.
Raqqa frontlines are fluid, ISIS counter attacked and pushed SDF out of two neighborhoods nearly entirely. When you are fighting to the death you really throw bodies at the wall.
Pic: yet another meatgrind, ISIS in Deir Ez Zor
Sidenote: anyone else in the process of learning Arabic? I can read and write anything now, but knowing the meaning of what I write is another story...

This goofy little technical has seen a lot of action over the years, keeps popping up in pics and vids. Assuming it's the exact same one and they don't have multiple of these sitting in a car park.

>Barely any battle scars
>Not even a crack on the windshields
If they've been rolling this thing out for years, it certainly isn't used in any fighting. It's probably nothing more than a display model for propaganda videos.
>>34326070
I wanted to bring up the Saudis, but the difference is they were more indiscriminate and hush hush about clearing sites that they care little about, while a cornered IS pocket destroyed a mosque that was politically significant to them to deny the enemy the satisfaction of capturing it. They follow the same puritanical worldview, but their circumstances are difference.

Apparently when he was in the Philippines my great grandfather got shitfaced punched a general and stole said general's jeep before crashing it. He got dishonorably discharged the next day.

> 1940 at Dunkirk
> Gets sent to Alexandria in North africa, thinking there wont be a war there
> September 1940 italians attack
> December 1940 Goes on the offensive against the italians
> December 1941, gets assigned to Singapore, thinking there won't be a war there.
> December 7th is the day he literally stepped foot on that ship
> Febuary 1942 the ship is in india when singapore falls
> Gets assigned to burma
> 1942 fight in burma
> 1943 gets assigned to a group known as the chindits
> 3 months of hell, before they get orders to fall back to india
> Grandfather bong gets separated from his group
> Starving & without food, he uses his grenades to kill fish
> Grandfather bong gets into a one man firefight with a japanese platoon
> Hearing the gunfire some natives find him & take him back to their village
> Give him food, & send him on his way
> Makes it back to british lines
> Breaks into a restaurant and starts cooking food
> MPs turn up and arrest him on desertion.
> Gets put into penal unit digging foxholes as no one can verify his story, as he's one of the first chindits to arrive back
> Hits an officer with an entrenching tool when my malnourished grandfather bong can't dig as much as the others
> Japanese army is moving in on town
> All the MP's are sent to the front to prevent a breakthrough
> Grandfather bong, imprisoned in a penal unit is promoted and made part of the MPs
> Since he's in no state to fight they put him in charge of the japanese prisoners
> Japanese prisoners are now all police officers, given a bamboo stick and policing the populace so they don't commit sudoku

Are there any holsters with a steel cap or something to stop a bullet in the case of an accidental discharge?
>>34361899
Get ya a quick draw rig, that leather bit there at the bottom is a steel plate deflector.
>>34361899
What are you carrying that this is a concern for you?
>>34362173
Nothing in particular. I'd be carrying a Shield. But I just like a little extra piece of mind. I'm curious, that's all.
Found my late grand dads shot gun, could /k/ tell me what model this is? All I know is it's 60+ years old, just cleaned it.
Fun fact: it has sweet sixteen engraved on it for whatever reason
>>34360850
Browning Model A5. Gramps had some good taste, anon. Take it to a reputable gunsmith and ask if those recoil rings are good to go, which they probably won't be, but get them fixed and go take it out. That's a very nice shotgun and it looks like it was loved before your grandads passing.
>>34360869
Also note that's a particular model of A5, I can see from the gold trigger. I don't remember what model of A5 has that gold trigger but if my memory serves me right I'm positive that's not just a plain Jane A5. Lucky you.
>>34360850
Browning A5, one of my favorite guns actually! Get that shit fixed up (and shorten that damn barrel) and go shoot it! I Love that thing
Hey /k/, /v/ here. My uncle passed away recently and me and my mother were going through his possessions and we found this case in a cardboard box, I haven't touched them and my mom told me not to anyways.
I have never held a gun before and I really don't want to. What should I do with them?
How do I know if they are loaded? Are worth any money? I honestly don't like real guns very much but I don't know what to do with them, should I call somebody? I just want to finish packing this shit.
>>34360547
timestamp first
You're going to want to open the loading gate or the cylinder. It should be easy, and you shouldn't flick the wrist in order to shut them. You do not under any circumstances get rid of these guns, as they are the legacy of your uncle. You may not want to touch them, but he wouldn't want you to sell them off to some 40-something pawnshop fudd for $10 each, either.
Respect the man and respect the gun.
>>34360547
just skip to the end of your gimmick where you give them to the police and they melt them down or whatever. i'm sick of these bullshit threads
>Getting ready to get back into expanding my collection
>Have tons of rifles with no optics
>Looking at the aimpoint pro and I hear they are the best but don't really want to spend over $400 on a sight
Any tips on what might be as good but a little less?

in b4 go to /pol/: that place is a cesspool filled with leafs and germancucks who think guns literally kill babies

Well I mean, if you couldn't kill even a baby with it, it wouldn't be a very good gun.

>in b4 go to /pol/: that place is a cesspool filled with leafs and germancucks who think guns literally kill babies
irrelevant. your post is on topic there and off topic here.
Reminder that gun laws are in no way related to weapons.

Sentencing is next month. What the fuck happened with this guy? I always knew something was off with the senpai watching the show, and then hearing about all the mandatory logo engravings they did, but was this guy really a psychotic predator in sheeps clothing? What is the deal with all these gun stars turning out to be real dangerous individuals? *cough sons of guns cough*
>>34360020
Anybody who wants to show their guns off to the general public has something wrong with them
Discovery really needs to vet their "reality" show stars better so they end up with fewer child rapists and illegal arms dealers.
>>34360132
Looks like (((someone))) is trying to paint gun owners as sexually abusive, mentally-ill, crime-committing rednecks.

I use Tikka, not Ruger, but this looks cheap and seems like it'll do the same thing. You need to be really good with it though and buy good glass which will make it expensive. I recommend .308.

What are the best bang for your buck assault packs?
>>34359760
The GI assault pack is actually pretty good, as far as things go. If you really want to get spendy, the Mystery Ranch or Camelbak trizips are about the only things in that size range significantly better IMO.
The Tactical Tailor and LBT packs are nice, but not a huge upgrade to be honest.

Looks like a cross between a Walther and Grease gun. Could be an updated Grease gun judging by the barrel, stock and open bolt design.
