I don't really know if I'd prefer a da/sa or a striker fired handgun since I've never shot a handgun before. I'd prefer something polymer to help keep cost down though.

I may be moving to the Charlotte area in the near future for work. Geographically I could live in either state due to the short proximity, so which one?
I figure I can get more land in S Carolina for the price, but which state has better gun laws? Not happy about N Carolinas pistol permit, but is S Carolina cucked at all? Plus N Carolina is getting disturbingly more "blue state" by the day it seems.

Well, it takes 6 months to get your CHL in Charlotte because Mecklenburg county drags ass and has to go through all of the medical organizations for records checking, but the CHL eliminates the need for purchase permits as you can use it instead.
You should note that there is next to nowhere to shoot in Mecklenburg county aside from some indoor ranges. Lots of trap shooting too. Long range rifle? Forget it. You'll be driving 4 hours to find somewhere to shoot. Denver Defense is a pretty good indoor range as they have 50 yards for rifles and it's near the border of N and S Carolina.
I live on the outskirts of Mecklenburg county, and I'm just thankful I have some land to shoot rifle on. Otherwise, its a hassle.

In Florence for a month, just found out about the Stibbert Muesum (which apparently has a massive arms and armor exhibit) and think I'll go this coming Monday [spoiler]with the qt in the next door apartment[/spoiler].
Anything I should look out for in particular? I read that it's about an hour long guided tour, which sucks that you can't browse on your own.

These are both new in box import-config SL8s.
Though I would prefer double stack, these existing mags are my preferred length (much like vietnam era 20 rounders). I'd have to ask Tom Bostic about the conversion price as it involves milling out the side of the receiver and reinforcing it with steel.

How good a chance would we have if we invaded and took over a third world country and made it our own? Think of it as Rhodesia 2.0 if you will.
Look at Gambia for example. The government is in crisis and hopelessly corrupt, some elements of the military support the sitting President, some don't, and some just don't give a shit.
The government spends less than 1% of GDP on national defense. The total number of active-duty personnel are about 2,500--meaning there are probably more people browsing /k/ right now, at this moment, than there are in their entire armed forces. The government says they can draft something like 300,000 military-age males but let's be real, they couldn't enforce a parking ban on their own front lawn let alone a nationwide conscription effort.
There are 22 million unique visitors to 4chan every month. Even if we were content with 1:1 odds manpower-wise, we would only need one hundredth of one percent of those people to sign up. How could we fail?
