Hey, /k/
I'm looking for a gun under $500
I'll mostly be using it to get gooks off the lawn and chinks off the Korea
Recommendations?
A Maverick 88 12-gauge is reliable, well-made, and will set you back around $200 bucks.

Better OP picture better thread
>order a handguard from a company that sells both high quality russian laminate and surplus beat up ones
>they accidentally send me one of the fucked up lower handguards
The policy says "no returns" on "russian laminate items" however what they sent me was not russian laminate and actually battlefield pickup (another option on the site). They also say that it should look like the picture, which it doesn't in the slightest. Do you think I can argue my way out of this one and get them to ship me a new one?
Does anybody have any experience with Khyber Customs? The pistol grip looks beautiful but I don't have the right tool to remove my old one yet, and the upper is nice too.
https://www.khybercustoms.com/collections/furniture/products/3-piece-khyber-cheese-stockset the thing I bought in particular
>>34398088
>not wanting a battletested handguard
faggot.
Call them you faggot
>>34398155
Mate I don't have a problem with it, I'm going to have my hand over it the whole time ffs
If I wanted the scuffed one though I would've bought it for fifty bucks, not fucking $120 (after shipping)

I emailed already I'll call tonight, they're an hour behind me too

Condition 2 isn't applicable.
Do you think weapon conditions only apply to SAO or DA/SA guns without safety/decocking devices?
Is a .22mag platform worth investing in or is it just another .22 that will die off and will be hard to get like .22hornet?
Can .22mag caliber be reloaded? And if so is it worth doing it?
I am a no guns fag interested in small calibers but i dont like .22lr as i wish to shoot accurately up to 200yards
>>34397822
its rimfire so no reloading. Its not gonna die off anytime soon though and its great for pests. It's a fun round anon I'd get a cheap bolt action and have some fun
>>34397822
It's ok, but I'd think you'd just get literally any ~20c/r intermediate rifle over it.
Shooting 22mag for roughly the same price seems like a waste in comparison.
>>34398072
How come rimfire cannot be reloaded? Couldnt one just put starting caps and powder inside?
I never shot a gun in my life or saw it up close so i might be asking stupid questions
Hey /k/ can someone school me on the (pic related) dbal i2? I have a couple questions.
Q1: Can a Dbal i2 be used on any 2peice drop in handguard? Like a magpul (with rail added) or a drop in quad rail cheese grater? I remember reading that it should only be used on a free float as the wobble a 2 peice gives makes them less reliable.
Q2: Can one of these be used on an AR 308 or should I just stick it on a 223?
Bonus points for pics of your Dbal set up.
>>34397680
>i2
>not A3
fucking why?
>>34397680
The DBAL i2 is a great piece of cosplay for your rifle, but if you are actually using it with night vision... yeaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh it's pretty weak.
The main thing is that a laser system needs more than a laser to work well. It needs an illuminator. The A3 with built in laser illuminator works well (500 more than the i2), the MAWL with it's new cutting edge tech illuminator + design is even better, but it's twice as expensive.
>>34397750
>spending $2500 for a cucked MAWL
No thanks, I'd rather buy an atpial
Was the Y wing really needed in the rebel fleet /k/? It seems like it would be easier and cheaper to just modify certain X wings in their fleet to accomidate for Photon torpedoes? They would also be useless again tie fighters with stronger guns since a majority of Y wings have little to no armour because the rebels have modified them so heavily
nerd
>>34397627
they were older than the X-wings
Alliance were poorfags so they couldn't retire them
Y wings were faster than x wings.
>>34397493
Probably the same reason so many gun owners are equally as retarded.
Ignorance, a lack of education, and echo chambers to reinforce biases.
>>34397503
Hahaha gun owners are smart like me
I have never understood the gun hate. I have met people who hate guns of course but I have to meet an antigunner who is able to formulate a clear argument.
I carry hot, but I always like to see both sides of the argument both for and against carrying with a round in the chamber.
What do you think?
>>34397313
I carry condition fabric, you flaming homo.
>>34397317
Shut up I will fuck your mom and make you watch you nigger dick tickler.
God tier: chambered w/o safety

What does /k/ think about the Galil ACE in 308?
Is it a good battle rifle?
How sturdy is the top cover to mount optics on?
How long will the rubber buffer last?
>hey
>hey guys
>let's take an overpriced shit plastic 5.56 AK
>and scale it up to .308
>surely this will win the goyim over
Its a bit expensive but you get also high quality. Many consider it as a good alternative to the Scar.
You get
>Cold hammer forged Barrel, chrome-lined, up to 20inch
>Precision, double stage trigger
>Reliable AK design
>Sealed AK design
>easy to clean (unlike Scar, where the piston is a pain in the ass to clean)
>folding stock
>>34397331

jew gun
Why there is no update or successor?
WTF BELGIUM!
>>34396929
What is the SCAR
>>34396929
ikr
>>34396929
Because they went directly to the FNC making it fairly obsolete, it would have been a waste of time and money continuing work on it
Shot sporting clays for the first time and fucking loved it.
Is a shitty Stoeger O/U from Bass Pro Shops gonna cut it going out a couple times a year?
Stoegers arent ever really shit so...
Sure.
If you have a few extra bucks check out the Savage Stevens 555.
>>34396711
If it's at Bass Pro it's probably overpriced as hell. Stoegers are fine. I'd probably go looking for a Tristar instead. The Winchesters and Stoegers are Turkish too. The Stevens is Chinese. If you can find a used Weatherby Orion it will be worth it. Their budget models are also imported Turkish products but the Tristar and Weatherby's are from one of the more reputable companies like Huglu.

Hey /k/, I went to High School with this girl and she's been serving now for at least 8 years, stationed in Hawaii. What is this grip called? Does it have a name?
I don't think so because no sane person would use that grip.
Stupid
>>34396444
It's called the "Michonne".
