let's be real

prepper stuff is useless until you actually need it which, depending on your area and the type of natural disasters around, may be never.

So I was watching the movie 'War of Arrows' (a korean movie) and saw in a few scene the main protagonist using a sled type thing to knock his arrows, is this historically accurate or viable? The way it was used seems pretty smart, for small arrows.

that's the thing, it was a separate piece of wood used by the protagonist. I think it was a piece of bamboo

Hey /k/,

I took my girlfriends brothers/father shooting today, and while they have shot before they were relatively new to it.

I have a .22 rifle and a couple handguns I brought (.45 and a tokorev).

They all had a good time and shot everything but the younger brother definitely spent most of his time on the .22 rifle instead of the handguns and I think that was due to recoil.

So my question to you is what are good .22 handguns? My dad has a Ruger my II which is really nice but I wanted to know what other .22 handgun options /k/ might be fond of.

I was drunk the other night and saw 3 M&P15's on gunbroker. I put down a bid of 800 right away. When I checked out the post the next day, I read this description ----

Three S&W MP- 15 5.56MM used range guns, as pictured & described, first upper is cracked in half and has just bolt carrier- ( 2 missing rear sling swivel & rear sights) & all lowers- complete & function properly. They all have had a bunch of rounds thru them. All have visable throat erosion. sold as-is.

I'm honestly just glad auto bid stopped at $400 because I could've been out another 400. My question is will I be able to get anything out of them? I'm new to ARs and didn't do much research.

Replacement of all the parts will be like 200ish and you can flip them for about 400 each, not too bad but you'll have to find someone to buy then first
>>
>>34494209
so you got 2 good guns that need a new barrel and one good lower/ parts upper for $400?

not bad desu senpai.

I want to collect strange & beautiful handguns. I like unconventional, artistic, extravagant aesthetics.
What are some good models to consider?

Something like the Luger is a good example of a gun that has an unconventional but beautiful look.

How thick is the M1A1 Abrams' armour without the Depleted Uranium layers? More specifically how good is the armour on the Australian M1A1 AIM and the Moroccan M1A1 SA?

Is it still a good tank without it, or is it a steel coffin riding on the reputation of its DU-equipped US brothers?

Exact nature is classified for obvious reasons, what is known from transportation markings is that the armor package is as heavy, or slightly heavier, then the standard DU array. Given weight similarities the official line that protection levels are comparable is entirely reasonable.

Hey /k/,

I'm moving to Pittsfield, Massachusetts in the next few weeks for a new job. I'm looking to buy a few guns for home defense and possibly ccing. I was looking up the laws and it says that AR style rifles are banned, but I've also seen other information that says its fine as long as it doesn't have two "assault features" listed in their laws.

If I'm looking to purchase an AR-15 style rifle, and a carry pistol, what kind of process should I expect? How long does it take to get an FID and also the LTC? I heard its about a 6-8 month wait from a friend who lives there for the LTC.

Are private sales the way to go? Any help is appreciated.

You have to stop listening to retarded fudds and anti-gunners because they're fucking stupid. Actually look up your state's laws

Also I heard MA has a license bullshit program so look up that too

>Pittsfield

You poor thing, Pittsfield is a literal shithole surrounded by insanely rich towns. Have fun with the vacationing Jew Yorkers, Connecticunts and Jersey fags. What job?

LTC takes a good 3-6 months to come in after you've done the safety class and all the paperwork.
You can only buy ARs privately on armslist or northeast shooters, and they're going to be sorely over priced. Like 1200 dollars for a basic bitch M&P Sport. The state recently put P320s on their handgun roster, and you can probably pick up gen4 glocks at a ridiculous markup on armslist. FNSs are available, there's always shields and M&P handguns. Armslist will be your friend, without a doubt.

t.westernmassfag

ps. I used to drive an armored truck and my route was south Berkshire County, including pittsfield. so if you need help with the area, i can answer questions.
